Dear parents and guardian,
As you prepare your kids to return back to school, shop what you can afford, no student wins award for resuming with the biggest lunch pack. Get them the little you can and teach them how to manage.

If you can no longer afford their school fees, withdraw them from the school and register them in a school you can afford the school fees. You are not in a competition with anyone.
Before you begin to accuse presumed rich relatives for not helping you pay school fees for your kids, it's not easy for most of them too

If you can't afford new school uniform, bags, and shoes, put the ones you already have in order let them manage them like that, they are not going for beauty contest rather they are going to learn. Ensure you keep the ones they have neat.

Teach your kids to be contented with what they have and never to be jealous of their fellow kids

Do not pressure yourself or your partner and don't feel less of yourself.

May God provide for all parents as they prepare for school resumption Amen 🤲

'President Bola Tinubu, Time is Going'

Aareonakakanfo of Yorubaland,Iba Gani Adams has raised his voice against the present administration on the various challenges faced by Nigerians.

In an open letter sent to the media, Iba Adams urged President Bola to reverse some of his harsh policies, saying the time is ticking.

Here is an open letter as signed by the Aare Ona Kakanfo of Yoruba land, Iba Gani Abiodun Ige Adams, on the State of the Nation.

"Your Excellency,I bring you good tidings from the more than 65 million Yoruba of South-West in Nigeria, including Edo, Delta, Kwara and Kogi States.

I also write this letter to you as one of the more than 200 million people God created as Nigerians.

We have no regret that we were created to inhabit this geographical space in the West African axis of the African continent.

In fact, we are happy to be here because I don't know any country in the world that God has blessed, in terms of natural and human resources, like Nigeria.

Obviously, past leaders, since 1960, disappointed Nigerians with the way 'Nigeria and Nigerians were badly led and resources selfishly managed'.

When you came with the 'Emilokan' coinage in the build up to the 2023 elections, many Nigerians were persuaded that as a democrat exposed to modern way of governance, you will perform better than Muhammadu Buhari, a soldier who deepened the poverty levels of Nigerians and increased insecurity from 2015 to 2023.

Today, events have proved that they were wrong.

Mr.President, to say the truth without minding whose ox is gored, you have really disappointed many Nigerians who thought you were the messiah they were waiting for.

The facts are there to speak for themselves.

On May 29, 2023 when you became the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Nigerians, the price of a litre of fuel was less then N200.

Today, it is more than N1000.
As the Minister of Petroleum, I ask you, what type of reforms is this?
In May 2023, Naira to a Dollar was less than N740.

Today, it is more than N1,600.

Now, your two right-hand men when you were Governor of Lagos State between 1999 and 2007, Wale Edun (Finance Minister) and Yemi Cardoso (CBN Governor) are in charge of the economy.

What exactly are the fiscal, economic and financial briefings they give you daily to convince you that they know what they are doing in those two offices?

When Buhari left on May 29, 2023, many Nigerians heaved a sigh of relief that insecurity would soon become history.

Pitiably today, from the North to the South, East to the West, the rate at which Nigerians are being abducted and some killed, even after ransom was paid, it was as if these blood-thirsty maniacs have just been unleashed on Nigerians from the hottest part of hell.

As the Commander-in-Chief,the rising spate of insecurity across the country has put to question the kind of briefings you get on daily basis, especially, from the Inspector- General of Police (IGP), Kayode Egbetokun, the Chief of Army Staff, General Taoreed Lagbaja, and other Security Chiefs on their modus operandi to send these killers to where they belong?

In August, many Nigerians came out to express their frustration on the way you are governing them.

Today, some of those arrested have been charged with treason.

In the Comity of Nations, who does that? Is that the way governments are overthrown, with placards?
Human rights activists are being harassed by security agents on a daily basis and Civil Society Organisations (CSOs) have become soft targets of sycophants who speak sweet words to your ears for selfish reasons.

Many Nigerians know the 'radical' role you played when you were Governor, and even after 2007, when you galvanised and mobilised them to challenge the status quo at the national level.

Now that you are in government, protest has suddenly become a criminal offence.God is indeed Great!!!

The plain truth is that the
recent fuel price increase by the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL), an agency which is under your office as the Petroleum Minister, is an attack on Nigerians.

Obviously, your administration is becoming indifferent, insensitive and unresponsive to the plights of millions of Nigerians who can no longer meet their daily needs.
This is a brutal assault on the sensibility of Nigerians.

I think you and your party should be sensitive to the plights of Nigerians.

Mr.President, don't you think the wicked and draconian increase in fuel price, especially, at this time that Nigerians have been pushed to the wall, is a huge recipe for crisis?

Nigerians can no longer bear this economic hardship any longer.

I am writing this letter to you because of the pressure I am going through from millions of Nigerians, who erroneously, believe that I don't want to tell you the truth because the two of us are eminent Yoruba citizens.

The truth is that the perverted, opaque, unintelligible, wicked and corrupt handling of the petroleum sector and continuous increase of fuel price under your administration (with the NNPC threatening us the price will still go up) without due regard to the laws of the land and wellbeing of Nigerians is akin to telling Nigerians to go to hell.

Mr.President, if a few of your advisers are telling you that all is well, I can confidently inform you that they are your enemies.

Former President Buhari was here and Nigerians proved to him that they were bigger than him.

If you don't reverse this ugly trend immediately, soon, the situation may trigger further hardship across the country.

Under your watch as the President, the APC-led administration has consistently shown itself to be anti-people, unconcerned and deaf to the agonies of millions of Nigerians.

Today, more than 75 per cent of Nigerians have sunk below the poverty line. Businesses are collapsing like a badly-arranged pack of cards and the centre can no longer hold in many households.

With over 32 per cent inflation rate and close to 40 per cent unemployment rate which are expected to rise further with the latest dictatorial increase in fuel price, it is obvious that your administration offers no hope to Nigerians.

In the past 16 months, your administration has been using propaganda, power of coercion and rough tactics to oppress Nigerians.

For how long do you honestly think that despotic strategy will last?

Since last year, you have visited many countries, the latest being China.

Do you think your foreign counterparts treat their citizens the way you are treating Nigerians?

Mr.President, remember your promises to Nigerians during your numerous campaigns to all the nooks and crannies of this great country?

In just 16 months into your administration, your campaign promises have suddenly become failed promises?

Your Excellency, do you remember an Austrian-German who became the Commander-in-Chief in Germany in 1933?

Adolf Hi**er was an Austrian-born German politician who was the dictator of N**i Germany from 1933 until his su***de in 1945?

Hi**er, an elected democrat,
quickly transformed a democratic republic into a constitutional dictatorship.

The Fuhrer vowed to destroy democracy through the democratic process. And he did with the destruction of Germany in 1945.

Before the destruction,
the N**i leader disabled, then dismantled the Weimar Republic.

The Fuhrer crushed political opposition, destroyed the economy and ultimately undermined Germany's democratic structures.
When Hi**er became history on April 30, 1945, Germany was in total ruins.

But due to the determination of Germans, today, that country has the biggest economy in Europe.

I hope I am wrong but I see a linkage between what happened during the ascendancy of Hi**er into power and what is happening in Nigeria today.

Anyway, Nigeria is bigger than any individual.

Mr President, the time is ticking.

Ask this simple question: Are my reforms working?

I come in peace.

Yoruba Group berates Igboho over audio against Iba Gani Adams.Says,"audio content out of tune with present situation"

The Yoruba Concerned Group (YCG) has raised its voice against the viral audio spreading against the Aare Onakakanfo of Yorubaland, Iba Gani Abiodun Ige Adams, saying the audio was out of tune with the present situation in the country.

The group, while reacting to the statement released yesterday by the self-acclaimed Yoruba nation propagandist, Sunday Adeyemo, Igboho, accusing Iba Gani Adams of various allegations, said the various allegations against the Yoruba generalissimo were nothing but malicious and a failed attempt to discredit the image of the man.

Speaking in a statement signed by the chairman of the organization,
Comrade Adetoun Olawale, the YCG stated further that the audio was a personal discussion between Iba Gani Adams and one Nuru Banjo from United States, and a younger brother of one of his friends, who happened to be a mole in the struggle for the Yoruba nation struggle.

The YCG chieftain added also that those thriving on the audio were parasites and they have nothing to offer the Yoruba.

"We have listened to the viral audio which lasted for about 17-minutes and what Iba said in the audio was a reflection of his position on all the issues raised in the audio .

"According to Iba Gani Adams, the content of the audio was what transpired between him and Nuru Banjo in 2021 and he surreptitiously recorded the audio for reasons best known to him.

"All their discussions were not new, they were in the public domain for public consumption.Aare had also advised Sunday Igboho in the audio that many of the people around him were agents of destruction and if he was not careful with them, they would betray him and left.

"On the late Bola Ige's death,Aare said there was an unconfirmed report linking Igboho to the murder of the late Minister of Justice and he was blunt as he opened up on the conspiracy against his person by some powerful people.

"Iba mentioned how some of his former aides, namely Saddam and Co. wrote former governor of Lagos state (now President Bola Ahmed Tinubu )about their plan and how he ignored them.

"As far as we know,Iba Gani Adams didn't have any issue with president Bola Ahmed Tinubu and as the Aareonakakanfo of Yorubaland,Iba is always ready to protect the interest of our race".

The YCG boss also pointed out that the issue raised on the various legal battles fought by Iba Gani Adams in 2001,2005 and 2006 were nothing but trump up charges against him.

"We all knew the late Chief Gani Fawehinmi (SAN) as an advocate of peace and justice, the late erudite lawyer would never hold a brief for persons of questionable character .

"The late Fawehinmi in his life was always ready to spend his time and resources to defend any person whose rights were infringed upon.

"The cases against Iba Gani Adams were strucked out because it lacked merit. It became points of usual references today because they were celebrated cases handled by two prominent silks,Chief Oluwole Kehinde and Ebun Adegoruwa (SAN) who were once the late Fawehinmi's lieutenants and have been part of Iba's legal team till date.

"Aare Gani Adams' freedom didn't come cheaply,it came on the basis of justice and fairness as that had been the guiding principle of the late Chief Gani Fawehinmi and his team.

"From his press release,it showed beyond reasonable doubt that Igboho was frustrated because he was determined to denigrate the office of the Aareonakakanfo of Yorubaland. That was why he referred to Iba as Oyo chief as it was being spread by his agents.

"If truly he was very honest as he portrayed in his statement,he would not have referred to Aare as an Oyo chief. He was present at the official installation of Aare Gani Adams as the Aareonakakanfo of Yorubaland at the Durbar stadium and he was marvelled at the turnout of guests as well as the general acceptability of the revered stool of the Aare Onakakanfo of Yorubaland by all the Yoruba traditional rulers and stakeholders from across the southwest and beyond.

"Unlike Igboho,Iba Gani Adams has never been an informant to any security agent.Iba Gani Adams has never been an informant to the Nigerian Custom. Iba Gani Adams has never involved in any shady deal to make money. The Yoruba generallissimo always live for truth and integrity.

"From his antecedents, Igboho has been in the news all for the wrong reasons. He disrespected foremost Yoruba Obas like the Ooni of Ife,His Imperial Majesty Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, the late Alaafin of Oyo, His Imperial Majesty,Oba Lamidi Adeyemi, the Alake of Egba land,Oba Adedotun Aremu Gbadebo and a few others.

"Igboho had once said it that he would be attacking Yoruba Obas in their palaces. He had been fingered as informant to the former Commandant of the Intelligence Response Team(IRT) Abba Kyari.

"Igboho had also involved in dirty deals such as unlawful possession of property and illegal acquisition of a filling station and many other unlawful activities.

"He was involved in the rally in Akure where no fewer than seven people were allegedly killed. All these and many other atrocities were the atrocities of the Yoruba nation propagandist and his agents.

"In Yoruba land, for somebody to be respected as a person to lead the struggle for the liberation of Yoruba race, such a person must come out open and he would come with clean hands.Such a person must have good antecedent of a freedom fighter or a progressive politician that believes in the interest of the masses.

"All his life,Iba Gani Adams has been working tirelessly for the unity and progress of the Yoruba and he is very consistent in his ideology.

"For us as an organization that is poised to ensure peace and tranquility in Yorubaland, Igboho and his agents should be warned.

"His case is like there is fire on the mountain. It is also very important to note that the Yoruba should be wary of him and his social media parasites.

"My advice to Igboho is that he should not interfere in the relationship between Iba Gani Adams and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.Prominent Obas like the Ooni of Ife and Yoruba leaders have long settled the issue. So, nobody can use that as an excuse to gain political scores.

"And in our language,I will say:"Yoruba ti fi Ina si Ori Orule Sun,ti Ile kan ba ntoro,Omo Ale ibe ni o ti dagba.Ki Yoruba fura", the Yoruba Concerned Group boss stated
