He says he has suffered and that Umo Eno is a very wicked person. That he lost his foster daughter because he could not pay for medical bill because Umo Eno criminally converted his due money.

The complainant says that Umo Eno lies are unfounded because he was truly served with all court hearing notices . That lawyers had to do the case for him for on pro-bone basis after he cried to them begging for justice because he has no money. THOMAS THOMAS: AN UNSTABLE SYCOPHANT WHO SHOULD NOT BE TAKEN SERIOUS

Conviction strengthens the feet of a man on a chosen path or endeavour, while indecision tosses a man about, leaving him to wander without any reasonable success. These kind of people, you would always find them with same shirts, chopped-sole pair of shoes, rickety cars (for those who can afford) and with newspapers in drinking joints sipping alcohol away in attempt to reduce thoughts of their frustrations.

With his recent sycophantic praises of a certificate forger and Gov. Udom Emmanuel's stooge, Pastor Umo Bassey Eno, Thomas Thomas, a discomfited opposition political supporter has completely lost what was left of him as 'focus'. Matter of fact nothing befits him better than the words of Socrates, an ancient philosopher who opined that "an unexamined life is not worth living". Thomas's declaration of support for the gubernatorial candidate of the PDP, a party he has been constantly messing over with abuses, shows that hunger has brutally dealt with him below the belt.

History reminds us of his series of political failures and miscalculations. With his popular propaganda medium "Global Concord", Thomas Thomas, in the company of Solomon Johnny, did not spare any antagonising adjective, phrase and cliché in their publications against Chief Godswill Obot Akpabio because of their support for Senator J.J Akpanudoedehe.

"Udom's foolish beginning" was the caption of a publication authored by Thomas Thomas on 30th May, 2015, wherein he poured the dirtiest of invective on the newly sworn in Governor Udom Emmanuel, just because the Governor had named the international football stadium after Chief Godswill Obot Akpabio, his benefactor. Obviously, by now we have lost count of how many publications and verbal interactions Thomas Thomas had deployed to paint Udom Emmanuel as the worst thing to happen to Akwa Ibom State. Today, with painted words and sugar-coated articles for Pastor Umo Eno, Thomas is looking for which way shortest to assuage hunger.

"Listening to Umo Eno one would hear a reasonable man talking. He is the only man among those jostling to take over from Governor Udom Emmanuel that is fully prepared for governance" is the funniest line of his latest publication. Between a man who had prepared and found worthy to lead the State only to obey the party and made way for the current governor, who is also leading the most robust representation currently in the National Assembly, and a man who was very recently handpicked and forced to be foisted on the people, who can be said to be more prepared for governance? This is a palpable display of sycophancy, apparently because he feels being the ruling party, the PDP will win the forthcoming elections by rigging the process. Maybe this Nsit Ubium born sycophant needs to be awakened to the realities on ground, that Akwa Ibomites have all taken their destinies into their hands and have elected to queue behind a man who has been preparing for governorship of Akwa Ibom State since 2014, and who is eminently qualified with the validity of his academic documents uncontested.

This same Thomas, who is now famous with shaky political sojourn, after fighting Senator Godswill Akpabio in vain, was last year around the month of May spotted hobnobbing with the former Governor's people. He couldn't withstand hunger and starvation and so he swallowed his pride and ate up his words by gradually emptying himself into the circles of Akpabio's people. What a shame!

Since Thomas Thomas has stooped so low to support Umo Eno, preferred candidate of the Governor he has thrown shades on at will, let him be reminded of the need for objective projection and branding of his new found company, lest he invites more damages rather than building. Referring to other candidates as "those who have stolen public funds over the years..." is a direct salvo fired at Governor Udom Emmanuel who cannot account for our 13% Oil returns from the Federal Government. Again, asking if he should have settled for "cultists" who will chase every right thinking person into the bush..." is another attack on his new found friend, Udom Emmanuel, who rather insists on vacating the seat for men of the underworld to 'continue' their evil agenda in Akwa Ibom State.

Moreso, his fawning assertion, "Pastor Umo Eno is the only road to continuous peace" leaves reasonable people to question what peace he is referring to in a state that campaign promises have never been kept in the last seven years. Does cornering our shared patrimony now translates to peace? In a state that commissioners of this administration openly vowed to lead violent behaviours in the coming elections? Wow!!

Referring to Umo Eno as "The Road Worth Taking" will make one of his greatest political collapses in the soon coming days as the realities or resultant effect of forging academic certificates and building of wealth on faulty or looted funds will dawn on his sudden political Principal. He claims it costs him ages before taking that decision, but it would have made more sense if he never took it but since man is at liberty to take decisions, Thomas Thomas, aa usual, has taken another willful decision that would lead to his exit on the stage of politics.

By joining the enemies of the people to sing Umo Eno's praises to high heavens, does he think he will be taken seriously and offered a comfortable seat to sit? Well, maybe Thomas Thomas has to be reminded that Udom Emmanuel, like Chief Godswill Akpabio, will never take him seriously even if he puts his neck in the line for the success (God forbid) of the Pastor cm hotelier. After his much expected noise on social media, he shall be shown the way out to go continue his lifestyle of blackmail and malicious publications for a beer fee.

'UDOM MUST ACCOUNT FOR OUR DEDUCTED SALARIES', CHALRES UDO FUMES

In the heat of the ongoing imbroglio in Akwa Ibom State over the whereabouts of the $1.1billion received by the governor of Akwa Ibom State, the Commissioner for Environment, Mr. Charles Udoh has vowed to ensure that Governor Udom Emmanuel accounts for the deductions on the salaries of political office holders between 2020 and 2021.

The Commissioner who had a meeting with his kinsmen in Offot Ukwa on Thursday 24th November, 2022, said he is ready to resign from his portfolio if need be, instead of doing the bidding of Governor Udom Emmanuel who does not appreciate the hardwork of his appointees.

The Commissioner, according to one of his aides, was angered by the recent revelation by the Governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike, that Niger Delta state governors have been paid the 13% derivations arrears.

"The Governor received about N600 billion and was complaining paucity of funds , even to the extent of deducting our salaries. Governor Udom has received all the local government allocations in the name of joint account, and he expects us to fight all his perceived enemies even when he does not have regards for us", Charles Udoh told his Offot kinsmen.

Sir Udoh complained that even in the face of such humiliating treatment, the governor still expects them to fight his opposition.

"I was forced to embark on taking down billboards of a certain candidate that he does not like, even to the extent of demolishing some structures in Ifa Ikot Akpan market which he thinks the politician has supporters", Sir Udoh told his kinsmen.

One of the former councillors who wanted to be simply known as Candy, said that they were waiting for anyone who will lead them in asking the governor to refund their money which were done even in the midst of plenty.

"The governor was taking N50,000 from our salaries with the pretext that there was no money to run the budget. I personally knew that he was just playing us smart game, now that there is revelation that he has received such amount, we are asking him to give us our money and show us what he has done with our state's funds".

While speaking, a former local government chairman in Eket Senatorial District, who pleaded anonymity, added that he was shocked to hear that some of his colleagues were paid their severance allowance and when he approached the Commissioner for Finance, he said that he was not included.

"I wonder what kind of government he is running in our dear state. Because he thinks that I am no longer in support of his governance of lack of transparency and accountability, he refused to pay me my money. He was deducting our salaries, complaining that there were no funds to finance budget of those years. We are asking him to release our money, and account to the public how he used all the funds he has been receiving ", the former council boss told our reporter.

YPP EMPTIES PDP, ADC IN UKANAFUN, HOME OF AKWA IBOM PDP CHAIRMAN.

Ukanafun, the Local Government Area of the serving state chairman of the PDP, on September 27, 2022, witnessed a new political revolution as the indigenes shunned the PDP ward-to-ward tour to identify with the Young Progressives Party (YPP).

Equally, another political tsunami swept the area as the entire executive members of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) defected to the YPP, urging all their other members to join suite.

The highly elated chairman of the YPP in the state, Apostle Nyeneime Andy, who received all the decampees, thanked God for standing by the party while it toured all the 31 local government areas for inauguration of party offices.

"Some months ago, they said we didn't have structure, but today they are intimidated. We have our presence all over the state. People are moving into the party every day. We have every reason to thank God", Apostle Andy said.

He also appreciated the people for coming out to show full support. “You could see the crowd in all the local government areas. Look at Ukanafun, they are all here. We are grateful".

In a goodwill message, Dr. Udeme Akpan said: "Today, God has shown us His love. Can you see the mammoth crowd despite the rain? This is the greatest crowd I have ever seen in Ukanafun. God bless the YPP and the incoming Governor ".

Another speaker, Hon. Mfon Abraham, expressed appreciation to God for giving the state someone like OBA, and the YPP for presenting him as the gubernatorial candidate. He assured the party that as clearly seen in the crowd that turned up, the entire Ukanafun will support the party in the 2023 elections.

Also, Hon. Uko Idiong, former Executive Chairman of Ukanafun, noted that because of the love Ukanafun people have for YPP, the PDP ward-to-ward tour could not stop them.

"My former party, upon hearing that you were coming today, organized a ward tour to divert people's attention, but look at the crowd. They came on their own just to support the YPP", Hon. Idiong observed.

The chapter chairman of the YPP, Comrade Edidiong Akan, after receiving party registration materials from Andy, said the growth of YPP was historic, since there hasn't been any party with such record of rapid growth.

"They thought the party was for children, but today the YPP is the party for Ukanafun and indeed, the entire state. We collapsed the structures of other parties for the YPP", he recalled.

The decamping chapter chairman of ADC, Ubong Sunday Inyang, said the decision to join YPP was unanimous within the entire structure in Ukanafun. He promised to work with YPP to rescue the state from its enemies.

Summary of the general meeting of Young Progressives Party held yesterday, 3rd July, 2022, at Ikot Odiong, Ididep.

As scheduled, second general meeting of the Young Progressives Party, YPP, Ward 2, Ibiono Ibom Chapter, took place at the scheduled venue with an impressive number of people in attendance. The large number of attendants goes to show the level of awareness and acceptability the party is enjoying from the people of Ward 2 in Ibiono Ibom local government area.

Addressing the gathering, Chairman of the ward, Mr. Daniel Archibong, said he was impressed with the number of new entrants who have decided to join hands to push the expectations of the party. He disclosed that the YPP is a machinery of hope to the people of Ibiono Ibom LGA whose chances of producing the next Governor of Akwa Ibom State are seemingly infeasible in other political parties, despite their commitments to the electoral victories recorded by these parties in the past.

Mr. Archibong seized the time to educate the people, especially the aged members on the logo of the party which he said will guide them at the poll, as no name or face of the aspirants will be printed on the ballot papers.

The meeting received a letter of resignation by an Executive member of the Peoples Democratic Party in the Ward, Obonganwan Justina E Okon. After the letter was read on the floor of the house, the Ward Chairman stated that her action signifies a readiness to work for the interest of Ibiono Ibom. He said she will be officially inducted into the YPP very soon.

The meeting also received the presence of the Itu/Ibiono Ibom Federal Constituency standard-bearer, Engr Mfonobong Edet Udofia, ably represented by Hon. Diamond Usoro. He expressed appreciation to the people for finding him fit to represent them in the lower legislative branch of the national assembly. He also urged the people to work more on convincing others to see the need of joining hands with them to vote an Ibiono Ibom son into the Hilltop Mansion come 2023.

Members in attendance also raised concerns about party membership cards. They said cards should be made available to them as a lot of other people who are for the interest of Ibiono Ibom will join them in the next general meeting.

Each voting unit of the Ward submitted names of members who were charged with the responsibility of reaching out to other members of the unit with activities and plans of the Party.

The meeting received the Chapter youth leader of the party, Mr. Success Archibong.

Comrade Moses Essien dumps PDP for YPP
…solicits support for all YPP Candidates in the 2023 elections.

The Ibiono Ibom State Constituency hopeful, Comrade Moses Essien, has today, June 20, 2022, officially resigned his membership from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), joining the Young Progressive Party (YPP).

In his letter addressed to the PDP Chairman, Ibiono Ibom Central I, Ibiono Ibom LGA, the former Special Assistant on Projects Monitoring to Governor Udom Emmanuel, thanked the PDP for the opportunity given him to exercise his political rights of voting and working for the party for 22 years.

His letter reads in parts “I write to officially notify you of my resignation of membership of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). The reason for the resignation is personal”.

However, Comrade Essien, while addressing his supporters at the YPP Chapter office in Ibiono Ibom LGA, said his reason for joining the Young Progressive Party (YPP) was to actualize his ambition of representing the Ibiono Ibom people in the Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly in 2023.

Comrade Essien described YPP as the vehicle to achieve the many dividends of democracy denied the people by the incumbent PDP led administration. He decried the lack of basic infrastructures in Ibiono Ibom local government area despite giving the incumbent PDP administration the largest number of votes in the 2019 general elections.

He thanked YPP for the warm reception accorded him and pledged to work assiduously to ensure the growth and development of the party in Ibiono Ibom and Akwa Ibom State at large.

The Ibiono Ibom State Constituency hopeful reiterated his commitment to the Ibiono Ibom Projects, reassuring the people of victory at the polls and urged them to support all Candidates of YPP in the coming general elections.

Akwa Ibom State Nigeria- Gubernatorial Election 2023 Mr. Umo Eno (Eno Umo) and the Integrity Issue*

By now anyone reading this piece or familiar with public commentary would know that majority of Akwa Ibom State of Nigeria do not support Mr. Umo Eno’s (or is it Eno Umo) ambition to become the next governor of Akwa Ibom State.

Apart from his scandalous kneeling down before Mr. Udom Emmanuel the current Governor to elicit ‘anointing’ and curry a free pass, which shows a sign of weakness and incompetence, the crux of my position in this piece is Mr. Umo Eno’s fraudulent acts of claiming phantom educational qualification as one of his qualifications to be a governor.

This in my opinion and that of reasonable men and women of Akwa Ibom should be a serious signal that the State is about to be sold into another path of rudderless governance and its people inflicted to continuous suffering.

Let me start with what is actually in the public domain. Mr Umo Eno published his resume through his official campaign publicity-media team with false and misleading information that he graduated from St Francis Secondary School Eket and Victory Secondary School Ikeja with a GCE O level Certificate in 1981. This to me was the first sign of deliberate misinformation and fraud.

How could someone who claimed to be competent and had capacity in human and material resources management draft such a poor and silly résumé for public consumption.
For the record, under the Nigerian Constitution you do not need a GCE O’ Level to contest for a governorship position. So why the cooking of credential? I, the author of this piece graduated from St. Francis Secondary School, Ikot Ataku Eket in 1982 with GCE O Level Diploma/Certificate. The same school Mr. Umo Eno claimed he graduated from in 1981.

I know of a fact he never took any GCE exams in St Francis Secondary School Ikot Ataku Eket nor graduated therefrom. Actually, he dropped out. He is what we know in the streets and in the real world as a ‘Drop Out.’ Nothing actually corrosive being a drop out.

But when you attempt to juice your status notwithstanding, you have succeeded in deceiving a lot of people using false and incorrect credentials to get to where you currently are-then there is a serious problem when you want to become the governor of Akwa Ibom State with same fraudulent resume. Then, I personally will have a serious commonsense collison with you because in Akwa Ibom I have a fundamental stake towards its developmental growth and wellbeing.

On to the acclaimed Victory Secondary School in Ikeja. Mr. Umo Eno has brought out a poorly engineered copy of a school certificate which has “Ikeja” as the place he took his GCE exams, not even the acclaimed Victory Secondary School Ikeja as depicted in his public resume.

This document just on the face of it is laughable. So, my point is why would Akwa Ibom allow such a man, who is not even required to present a GCE certificate to be a Governor, but has taken such tenuous and amateurish sojourn to juice and cook up a false personality and credential so the people of Akwa Ibom will vote him in as a so called successful “entrepreneur.”

I challenge other gubernatorial aspirants to take on Mr. Umo Eno on his credibility and integrity. Akwa Ibom does not need a fraud and a ‘Manchurian’ Governorship candidate.

The people of Akwa Ibom have suffered enough lack and abuse from politicians. If our people must breath a free sense of emancipation from abject poverty and economic backwardness, Akwa Ibom should only present worthy and upright candidates from all the political parties.

Choice of Umo Eno: Udom’s Frustrations Worsen

Palpable fears of losing the forthcoming governorship primary looms in the camp of Governor Udom Emmanuel’s preferred aspirant, Pastor Umo Eno.

As at Wednesday, April 27, 2022, the arrowheads in the campaign groups for Pastor Umo Eno could not precisely give the Akwa Ibom State governor satisfactory briefs on the progress they have made in marketing the aspirant to delegates and stakeholders.

Informed sources said that early last month, Governor Emmanuel having sensed dangers in the Umo Eno’s project, had reached out to prominent personalities within and outside the state, pleading with them to prevail on Senator Bassey Albert Akpan (OBA), Rt. Hon. Onofiok Luke, Hon. Akan Okon and Mr Akan Udofia to withdraw from the race and promised them mouth-watering offers.

“I can say it on good authority that ministers of God, traditional rulers and prominent politicians were given the task to beg the aspirants to withdraw from the race and allow the governor’s anointed aspirant to go into the primary unopposed.

“Some of the Clerics were His Eminence, Dr Sunday Mbang, Prelate Emeritus of Methodist Church; Evangelist Uma Ukpai, founder and President of Uma Ukpai Evangelistic Association (UUEA), while Oku Ibom Ibibio and Chairman of Akwa Ibom State Council of Chiefs, HRM Solomon Etuk and other traditional rulers, were engaged in the unfruitful assignment.

“When the aspirants went ahead to purchase expression of interest forms and also intensified consultations to delegates and stakeholders across the state, the governor knew that his emissaries were unsuccessful to help him get them to step down,” the source said.

The source further disclosed that some of the promoters of the Umo Eno’s project were blunt to openly inform the governor that people were nonchalant about the aspirant.

It was also learnt that they also told the governor that his Presidential aspiration was affecting the gubernatorial campaigns in the state as he now spends more time outside for his consultations and not concentrate as expected on the succession project.

With the frustrations over the non-viability of Umo Eno’s project, the media directorate in the Governor’s Office were mandated to go all out to attack Senator Bassey Albert, who is the major fear of the camp.

“The recent sustained attack against Senator Albert and his promoters like Mkpisong Inyang-eyen is instructive. The media directorate is mandated to go all out to distract, offend and perhaps court Senator Albert’s anger to see if he or his supporters will descend on the characters used in writing the offensive and libellous articles against him.

“The plan is that once anything untoward is done against them, government would institute a criminal case against Senator Albert. He is their nightmare. They have been planning on how to implicate him in any criminal matter. But he has surprised them, rather going about his campaigns in a humble and friendly disposition,” another dependable source in the campaign group hinted.

Also, it is being speculated within the camp that Governor Emmanuel may pick an alternative aspirant to Umo Eno as fresh facts emerge that he has questionable qualifications and is increasingly becoming unacceptable

It was learnt that the Governor may make a state broadcast before the primaries to further whim up sentiments on his preferred political aspirant and why people show toe his succession line.

Umo Eno sent home uncleared.
....... Ask to appear before the panel today with original copies of certificate.

Despite the social media razzmatazz the Akwa Ibom State sponsored aspirant of the Peoples Democratic Party, Pastor Umo Eno was actually sent home yesterday uncleared and requested to appear before the panel today Friday 29th April 2022 due to issues connected to his certificate. According to a credible source privy to the working of the screening committee the Nsit Ubium born hotelier is petitioned for doubtful certificate.
Meanwhile the politician rented crowd are said to be stranded and frustrated as their one day payment for lodging by the government has since expired. Some of them who had no alternative plans were seen loitering around the hotel areas looking dejected.
More surprising to observers is the absence of key members of the Maintain Peace Movement and the hurriedly formed ICP who appeared to have abandoned the annointed one. To mention but a few who couldn't brave out with Gov Udom Emmanuel's chosen one include the Director General Chief Assam Assam, SAN, the leader of MPN, Barr. Emmanuel Enoidem, the newly conscripted Senator Bassey Albert core Supporter recruited to run ICP Barr Uwem Ekanem. Even key forerunners of Umo Eno like Isantim Kenneth Okon and Frank Archibong were missing in the entourage.
Few who braved the odd to accompany the former commissioner of land include Hon. Enobong Iwah, Orman Esin, Okpolum Ette and the commissioner of environment, Mr Charles Udoh.
Indications are very obvious that all is not well with the SUCCESSION agenda of the outgoing Governor. It's obvious the situation is not going well as envisaged by the handlers of the succession plan it's likely going to impact greatly on the delegates.
Umo Eno ship appears to be sinking deeply and fastly with supporters jumping out to avoid general drowning.
However, it was fun too during the exercise as aspirants interacted among themselves, exchange banters, shared drinks and food with one another.
