Jose Mariena Cartolos, 65, recently received a $3,000 grant from the Colombian government to start a palm oil plantation on a lot of land that has been in his family for more than 200 years.

While digging a trench for irrigation purposes on his land, Cartolos struck something peculiar. After taking a further look, he discovered several large, blue containers. What he found inside was the unthinkable. The containers were filled to the brim in cold hard cash, totaling $600,000,000!

That is not a misprint, the money is said to be a part of Pablo Escobar's $30 billion fortune that is said to be buried through out the country.

Of course, Cartolos will not be able to keep the money. The money is expected to be used by the Colombian government to help with social and economic programs (in true Escobar fashion duh). Inside Hollywood speculates that this discovery will cause a new "Gold Rush," in tourism drawing treasure hunters to the Colombian countryside in search of hidden treasure.

Be honest, if it were you, would you have returned the money?

The Story you are about to read is about a woman who unexpectedly gave birth on a flight ✈️

The woman, identified as Oyindamola Akinyera on Instagram, was traveling with her husband—David—to Brazil for a combined honeymoon and baby-moon adventure. She was fully cleared for air travel by her doctor before the trip began.

A few hours into their connecting flight from Doha to Brazil (on Qatar Airways), Oyindamola experienced what she thought were normal pregnancy backaches. She believed simply resting would help.

Later, when she felt a sudden urge during a restroom visit and asked her husband to accompany her, she realized her water had broken—but she initially mistook it for urination. That’s when she knew she might be in labor.

The Qatar Airways crew quickly sprang into action. They transformed the entrance area of the plane into a makeshift birthing station, offering her comfort and care while a fellow passenger—a doctor named Dr. Carolina—stepped forward to help.

A doctor on the plane, Dr. Carolina examined her and confirmed she was fully dilated. At that point, they were in Brazilian airspace, roughly 40 minutes from landing.

With her husband offering emotional support and prayers, Oyindamola began to push. Twenty minutes before landing, their baby girl was born safely aboard the plane.

They landed safely in Brazil and were taken directly to the hospital. Both mother and baby were confirmed to be in good health. Oyindamola shared that she considered the experience supernatural, saying: “I had a supernatural birth, and it’s all thanks to God Almighty.”

The Story you are about to read is about the African Richest Man, Aliko Dangote

The Beginning
Aliko Dangote was born on April 10, 1957, in Kano, Nigeria, into a wealthy Hausa–Fulani family with deep roots in business and trade.
By the late 1970s, Dangote had already received a solid education:
He studied business at Al-Azhar University, Cairo, Egypt, where he earned a degree in Business Studies and Administration.
This gave him both the theoretical knowledge of commerce and a strong exposure to international trade practices.

In 1977, at just 21 years old, Dangote decided to go into business for himself.

He had ambition, a vision for trading, and the courage to take risks — but he also needed capital.

Dangote approached his uncle, Alhaji Sanusi Dantata, a respected businessman in Kano.

His uncle loaned him ₦500,000 (about $3,000 USD at the time).

This was a huge sum in 1977, enough to launch a small trading company.

Dangote promised to repay the loan within 3 years, and his uncle believed in his potential.

With this money, Dangote started importing and trading essential commodities: Rice from Thailand, Sugar from Brazil.

Cement (later, he made this his signature industry).

Instead of spending lavishly, he reinvested every profit back into the business. He was known to work tirelessly, supervising shipments, negotiating with suppliers, and building trust with customers.
To expand distribution, Dangote bought three trucks with part of the loan.

These trucks were used to transport goods across Nigeria.
By cutting down on middlemen and handling logistics himself, he maximized profit.

Within three months, Dangote had earned so much profit that he was able to repay his uncle’s entire loan early — a move that earned him even more trust and support from the family.

For nearly two decades, Dangote’s company focused on trading. But in the 1990s, he made a bold move: shifting from importation to manufacturing within Nigeria.
He built factories to produce sugar, pasta, salt, and flour locally.
By 2000, he moved heavily into cement production, which became the foundation of his multibillion-dollar empire.
In 2013, Dangote announced plans to build a massive oil refinery and petrochemical plant.

The project was located in the Lekki Free Trade Zone, Lagos State. Estimated to cost $19–20 billion, it was financed through dangote’s own equity, loans from a consortium of Nigerian and international banks, and reinvested profits from his cement empire. The Dangote Refinery is now the largest single-train refinery in the world.

Capacity: 650,000 barrels per day.
Products: petrol, diesel, aviation fuel, kerosene, and petrochemicals.
Goal: to supply all of Nigeria’s refined petroleum needs and export to other African countries.

The refinery was commissioned on May 22, 2023, in a historic ceremony attended by presidents, dignitaries, and global business leaders.
Operations began gradually in 2024–2025, with shipments of diesel and aviation fuel already rolling out.

Today, what started with a ₦500,000 family loan in 1977 has grown into the Dangote Group, one of Africa’s largest conglomerates. Dangote himself is now worth over $10 billion (as of 2025), making him the richest man in Africa.

The Story you are about to read is a real life story of a Nigerian Man, Hassan Adeyemo and His Wife Sarah Adeyemo.

IN THE BEGINNING

The couple met in Ibadan, Oyo State in 1998 when Hassan was a 21-year-old Nigerian soldier and Sarah who is from Bauchi State was 18 years old. It was love at first sight.

They got married about nine years later, in 1999 precisely and God blessed them with five children over the course of the years.

Hassan loved his wife so much and prevented her from working because he didn’t want her going through undue stress. He provided her and the children with everything they ever wanted.

In 2014, Hassan wanted a better life for his family, so with his wife’s agreement, he decided to send them to America. Before they got to America, Hassan already arranged a rented house and a car for them.

Sarah was still not working when they relocated as Hassan continued to play his role as a provider, sending them money for their upkeep from Nigeria every month.

Despite the distance, Hassan bonded with his wife and kids. Everyone was happy.

In 2017, Hassan, who had missed his family so much, decided to relocate to America and stay with them. Before Hassan got to America, Sarah had started a hair braiding business just to keep herself busy when the kids were in school. Everyone loved her and the way she braided beautiful styles.

Gradually, she became a household name in Orlando. Ladies flooded her place to do their hair.

What she began for the fun of it became something big overnight.

Hassan entered the US, and things were going smoothly.

Despite being comfortable back home in Nigeria, Hassan decided to start all over with menial jobs. He had no papers yet, so he was left with doing jobs that paid him peanuts.

WHEN THE TIDE CHANGED

A year after he arrived in the US, they welcomed their fifth child, a baby girl. By this time, Sarah was making at least $1,000 a day with the help of her daughters who she had trained. She was very fast and efficient in braiding hair. With this income, she was able to support the family with all expenses because Hassan’s income couldn’t meet up with the bills.

Eventually, Hassan got his papers and started to drive Uber and do delivery jobs. He worked from morning to night and started contributing his quota to the family, but his contributions were like change to what his wife was making.

In effect, Sarah became the breadwinner of the house.

She became the children’s favorite because she gave them everything they asked for, while their dad could not meet up.

Sarah’s attitude then changed. She entered the house whenever she wished. She became the boss, always calling Hassan lazy and useless, while Hassan always appealed to her for peace to reign as he didn’t like trouble in any form being a gentle man.

Sarah and the children formed a clique in the house and abandoned their dad to always sort himself out.

Sarah stopped cooking for him.

Hassan became depressed and was always begging friends and family members to help talk to his wife. He cried most times like a baby, saying Sarah made him feel less of a man in the house. His friends encouraged him to persevere and ignore whatever she did.

In January 2022, Sarah announced to Hassan that she had bought a house. They moved into the new house, and she continued to treat him very badly. She disrespected him so much and would sometimes tell him, “Leave my house if you cannot obey me, you irresponsible man.”

She locked him out in the cold so many times and threw his things out.

The children were on their mother’s side because she was the provider.

Hassan became very depressed and started having suicidal thoughts. He told his friends how unfair life is to him and that spoke of killing himself. They advised him to leave the marriage because it was obvious that his wife was no longer in love with him.

But he kept on asking, “Where will I start from? I love my wife. A woman I have invested all my life in. The only woman I ever loved. What did I do to deserve this from her?”

In April 2023, Sarah told him she had bought another house specifically for her and her customers. She told Hassan to hold onto the boys while the girls followed her to the new house.

Hassan wondered why she wanted to separate the family.

“If everyone followed me to the new house, it would disturb my customers,” she explained.

She then told the husband that he could bring the boys over for weekends, but he couldn’t come with them because she needed her privacy.

People tried to talk to Sarah, but she wouldn’t listen.

Hassan agreed to her terms, hoping that she would change her mind eventually.

On August 21, 2023, Sarah informed Hassan that she would like for her sons to move in with her, while Hassan remains in the old house. She instructed Hassan to move all of her remaining property, and that of the children from the old house where Hassan was staying to the new one, where she lives.

She then told Hassan that whenever he wished to see the children, he should let her know, so she can arrange for the visits.

Hassan told her he would do as she had instructed, which he did.

Sarah didn’t let him enter the house. She took all the belongings he brought and the boys and left Hassan outside. Hassan remained at the door for almost an hour knocking. Sarah refused to open the door for him.

The following day, August 26, was Hassan’s 46th birthday. Early that morning, Sarah sent him a message, “Happy Birthday friend, we are better off as friends than lovers. You need to look for where you’ll be staying, because I have to get rid of the old house. I wish you well in life, I have moved on.”

A few hours later, the children called their dad to get some groceries, and he told them he would bring them in the evening.

At about 6:30 PM, he called the kids, that he was on his way to the house with the groceries. When he got there, he knocked, and the children opened the door for him.

Hassan then asked for their mom. They told him she was in the shower.

He entered, and went to the bathroom, brought out a gun, and shot her in the head, in the chest, and in the leg.

He then called 911.

“Hello, I just killed the bitch. This is the address, I am waiting for you,” he said.

He then sat down on the floor beside Sarah’s body.

The cops came, and the first responders rushed Sarah who was still breathing to the hospital. She died two hours after she got to the hospital.

Hassan is now behind bars at the Orange County Jail in Florida. He is most likely facing a death sentence or life in prison without parole.

VERY SAD!
