The most sniped at, criticized, and bitterly attacked person in Nigeria today is not a criminal. He is not a murderer or ra**st awaiting the death sentence in some jail. He is not a spy, and he is not even a communist.

He is the President of Nigeria.

And the person most criticized 5, 10, 15, 30 years ago was also the president of Nigeria.

The man with the biggest job is also the man most attack . That is true in every walks of life.

Big job means big criticism.

Have you ever paused to notice who is not sniped at? Check and you will discover the only people free of the belittling tactics of petty people are those who are at the bottom of life's totem pole.

In a corporation, the division chief maybe criticized regularly by jealous subordinates and associates. But who knows the janitor?

So, I think it is now a culture in Nigeria. It is a sign that one is given a big job to do. Therefore, do not let criticism push you off from the work you are signed to do. If you most worry, worry because you are not criticized enough.
