𝑭𝒆𝒂𝒓 𝒏𝒐𝒕, 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝑰 𝒂𝒎 𝒘𝒊𝒕𝒉 𝒚𝒐𝒖. 𝑫𝒐 𝒏𝒐𝒕 𝒃𝒆 𝒅𝒊𝒔𝒎𝒂𝒚𝒆𝒅. 𝑰 𝒂𝒎 𝒚𝒐𝒖𝒓 𝑮𝒐𝒅. 𝑰 𝒘𝒊𝒍𝒍 𝒔𝒕𝒓𝒆𝒏𝒈𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒏 𝒚𝒐𝒖; 𝑰 𝒘𝒊𝒍𝒍 𝒉𝒆𝒍𝒑 𝒚𝒐𝒖; 𝑰 𝒘𝒊𝒍𝒍 𝒖𝒑𝒉𝒐𝒍𝒅 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒘𝒊𝒕𝒉 𝒎𝒚 𝒗𝒊𝒄𝒕𝒐𝒓𝒊𝒐𝒖𝒔 𝒓𝒊𝒈𝒉𝒕 𝒉𝒂𝒏𝒅.

Being a Christian, consciously give no chance to fear in your life. Refuse to let the evils around happening around the world and around you cause you to yield to fear; always bear in mind that no matter what happens, you’re more than a conqueror (𝐑𝐨𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐬 𝟖:𝟑𝟕).

Fear is a destructive spirit (𝟐 𝐓𝐢𝐦𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐲 𝟏:𝟕). And it dominates those who live by the senses, and not by the Word of God (𝐋𝐮𝐤𝐞 𝟐𝟏:𝟐𝟔). Evil spirits operate successfully in fear-infested atmospheres, because fear attracts and gives them access to people and places. So, consciously refuse to give room to fear your life; instead, disallow it, and live above it by loading your heart and renewing your mind with God’s Word daily.

Also, speak in tongues frequently and fervently with the understanding that you are emboldening yourself and deactivating fear from your heart. For “𝑯𝒆 𝒘𝒉𝒐 𝒔𝒑𝒆𝒂𝒌𝒔 𝒊𝒏 𝒕𝒐𝒏𝒈𝒖𝒆𝒔 𝒆𝒅𝒊𝒇𝒊𝒆𝒔 𝒉𝒊𝒎𝒔𝒆𝒍𝒇…” (1 𝑪𝒐𝒓𝒊𝒏𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒂𝒏𝒔 14:4). Don’t give room to fear of any kind; rebuke it if it tries to overwhelm your heart, and always walk in the consciousness of God’s abiding presence over you. The Lord says: “𝑰 𝒂𝒎 𝒚𝒐𝒖𝒓 𝑮𝒐𝒅…𝑫𝒐𝒏’𝒕 𝒃𝒆 𝒂𝒇𝒓𝒂𝒊𝒅; 𝑰 𝒘𝒊𝒍𝒍 𝒉𝒆𝒍𝒑 𝒚𝒐𝒖” (𝑰𝒔𝒂𝒊𝒂𝒉 41:13 𝑮𝑵𝑻).

𝑷𝒓𝒂𝒚 𝒄𝒐𝒏𝒔𝒕𝒂𝒏𝒕𝒍𝒚.

Prayer is communicating with God; however, it is more than that. It is a spiritual weapon for enforcing the will and judgments of God in the earth, and for shattering the evil forces, plots, and works of darkness. That’s why you should take your prayer life very seriously, because without it you can’t win consistently in this life over the forces and works of wickedness.

In 𝐄𝐩𝐡𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐬 𝟔:𝟏𝟎-𝟏𝟗, the Apostle Paul, by the Spirit of revelation, lists out for us what he refers to as “𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝑾𝒉𝒐𝒍𝒆 𝑨𝒓𝒎𝒐𝒖𝒓 𝒐𝒇 𝑮𝒐𝒅.” And one of the weapons in that divine armoury, is ‘consistent prayer,’ as seen in 𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐞 𝟏𝟖. It says: “𝑷𝒓𝒂𝒚 𝒂𝒍𝒘𝒂𝒚𝒔. 𝑷𝒓𝒂𝒚 𝒊𝒏 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑺𝒑𝒊𝒓𝒊𝒕. 𝑷𝒓𝒂𝒚 𝒂𝒃𝒐𝒖𝒕 𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒓𝒚𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒊𝒏 𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒓𝒚 𝒘𝒂𝒚 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒌𝒏𝒐𝒘 𝒉𝒐𝒘! 𝑨𝒏𝒅 𝒌𝒆𝒆𝒑𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒂𝒍𝒍 𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒔 𝒊𝒏 𝒎𝒊𝒏𝒅, 𝒑𝒓𝒂𝒚 𝒐𝒏 𝒃𝒆𝒉𝒂𝒍𝒇 𝒐𝒇 𝑮𝒐𝒅’𝒔 𝒑𝒆𝒐𝒑𝒍𝒆. 𝑲𝒆𝒆𝒑 𝒑𝒓𝒂𝒚𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒇𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒓𝒊𝒔𝒉𝒍𝒚, 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒃𝒆 𝒐𝒏 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒍𝒐𝒐𝒌𝒐𝒖𝒕 𝒖𝒏𝒕𝒊𝒍 𝒆𝒗𝒊𝒍 𝒉𝒂𝒔 𝒃𝒆𝒆𝒏 𝒔𝒕𝒂𝒚𝒆𝒅” (𝑬𝒑𝒉𝒆𝒔𝒊𝒂𝒏𝒔 6:18 𝑻𝑽𝑩). Keep praying fervently; for prayer is a God-given weapon for averting, repel, and destroying evil from our lives, homes, estates, communities, neighbourhood, governments, and nations.

In 𝐀𝐜𝐭𝐬 𝟏𝟐:𝟏-𝟏𝟐, Apostle James, the brother of John the Apostle, was killed by the tyrannical power of the day, headed by King Herod, because of his hatred for Christians. He succeeded in killing James without any restraint because the early church took it for granted and did nothing to stop him. Not long after, he got Peter arrested, intending to kill him like he did to James; but this time the church prayed earnestly and ceaselessly, engaging the weapon of prayer for Peter’s release. The Bible says, “𝑫𝒖𝒓𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑷𝒆𝒕𝒆𝒓’𝒔 𝒊𝒎𝒑𝒓𝒊𝒔𝒐𝒏𝒎𝒆𝒏𝒕, 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒄𝒉𝒖𝒓𝒄𝒉 𝒑𝒓𝒂𝒚𝒆𝒅 𝒄𝒐𝒏𝒔𝒕𝒂𝒏𝒕𝒍𝒚 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒊𝒏𝒕𝒆𝒏𝒔𝒆𝒍𝒚 𝒕𝒐 𝑮𝒐𝒅 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝒉𝒊𝒔 𝒔𝒂𝒇𝒆𝒕𝒚” (𝑨𝒄𝒕𝒔 12:5 𝑻𝑽𝑩). As a result, an angel of God supernaturally delivered Peter from the prison and from Herod’s wicked plan. Discipline yourself to pray daily and fervently. Prayer is a supernatural weapon; use it correctly, and you will get supernatural results.

To be safeguarded is “𝘛𝘰 𝘣𝘦 𝘱𝘳𝘰𝘵𝘦𝘤𝘵𝘦𝘥, 𝘱𝘳𝘦𝘴𝘦𝘳𝘷𝘦𝘥, 𝘬𝘦𝘱𝘵 𝘴𝘢𝘧𝘦, 𝘥𝘦𝘧𝘦𝘯𝘥𝘦𝘥, 𝘸𝘢𝘵𝘤𝘩𝘦𝘥 𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘳, 𝘴𝘦𝘤𝘶𝘳𝘦𝘥, 𝘰𝘳 𝘴𝘩𝘪𝘦𝘭𝘥𝘦𝘥 𝘧𝘳𝘰𝘮 𝘩𝘢𝘳𝘮, 𝘥𝘢𝘯𝘨𝘦𝘳, 𝘥𝘢𝘮𝘢𝘨𝘦, 𝘰𝘳 𝘦𝘷𝘪𝘭.” It also means “To be fortified against the wicked schemes and onslaughts of one’s enemies.” All of the above combined is what God is doing for you daily in Christ; He is safeguarding you from all evil, hurt, and harm.

Thus, you should never be afraid of anything, because you’re safeguarded by God Himself. The opening Scripture says: “𝑺𝒕𝒂𝒚 𝒄𝒂𝒍𝒎; 𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒓𝒆 𝒊𝒔 𝒏𝒐 𝒏𝒆𝒆𝒅 𝒕𝒐 𝒃𝒆 𝒂𝒇𝒓𝒂𝒊𝒅 𝒐𝒇 𝒔𝒖𝒅𝒅𝒆𝒏 𝒅𝒊𝒔𝒂𝒔𝒕𝒆𝒓 𝒐𝒓 𝒕𝒐 𝒘𝒐𝒓𝒓𝒚 𝒘𝒉𝒆𝒏 𝒄𝒂𝒍𝒂𝒎𝒊𝒕𝒚 𝒔𝒕𝒓𝒊𝒌𝒆𝒔 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒘𝒊𝒄𝒌𝒆𝒅, 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑬𝒕𝒆𝒓𝒏𝒂𝒍 𝒊𝒔 𝒂𝒍𝒘𝒂𝒚𝒔 𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒓𝒆 𝒕𝒐 𝒑𝒓𝒐𝒕𝒆𝒄𝒕 𝒚𝒐𝒖. 𝑯𝒆 𝒘𝒊𝒍𝒍 𝒔𝒂𝒇𝒆𝒈𝒖𝒂𝒓𝒅 𝒚𝒐𝒖𝒓 𝒆𝒂𝒄𝒉 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒓𝒚 𝒔𝒕𝒆𝒑” (𝑷𝒓𝒐𝒗𝒆𝒓𝒃𝒔 3:25-26 𝑻𝑽𝑩). God Almighty, our loving Father, safeguards our each and every step always; so, stay calm; you will not be trapped or destroyed by the wicked. The Bible says, “𝑾𝒉𝒆𝒏 𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒚 𝒔𝒄𝒉𝒆𝒎𝒆 𝒂𝒈𝒂𝒊𝒏𝒔𝒕 𝒚𝒐𝒖, 𝒘𝒉𝒆𝒏 𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒚 𝒄𝒐𝒏𝒔𝒑𝒊𝒓𝒆 𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒊𝒓 𝒎𝒊𝒔𝒄𝒉𝒊𝒆𝒇, 𝒔𝒖𝒄𝒉 𝒆𝒇𝒇𝒐𝒓𝒕𝒔 𝒘𝒊𝒍𝒍 𝒃𝒆 𝒊𝒏 𝒗𝒂𝒊𝒏” (𝑷𝒔𝒂𝒍𝒎 21:11 𝑻𝑽𝑩).

Always be conscious of this truth: that the Lord Himself safeguards you from all evil, hurt, and harm. The opening Scripture, from The Living Bible, says, “𝒀𝒐𝒖 𝒏𝒆𝒆𝒅 𝒏𝒐𝒕 𝒃𝒆 𝒂𝒇𝒓𝒂𝒊𝒅 𝒐𝒇 𝒅𝒊𝒔𝒂𝒔𝒕𝒆𝒓 𝒐𝒓 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒑𝒍𝒐𝒕𝒔 𝒐𝒇 𝒘𝒊𝒄𝒌𝒆𝒅 𝒎𝒆𝒏, 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑳𝒐𝒓𝒅 𝒊𝒔 𝒘𝒊𝒕𝒉 𝒚𝒐𝒖; 𝒉𝒆 𝒑𝒓𝒐𝒕𝒆𝒄𝒕𝒔 𝒚𝒐𝒖” (𝑷𝒓𝒐𝒗𝒆𝒓𝒃𝒔 3:25-26 𝑻𝑳𝑩). Glory to God! Another Translation says it this way: “𝑭𝒐𝒓 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑳𝒐𝒓𝒅 𝒊𝒔 𝒚𝒐𝒖𝒓 𝒔𝒆𝒄𝒖𝒓𝒊𝒕𝒚. 𝑯𝒆 𝒘𝒊𝒍𝒍 𝒌𝒆𝒆𝒑 𝒚𝒐𝒖𝒓 𝒇𝒐𝒐𝒕 𝒇𝒓𝒐𝒎 𝒃𝒆𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒄𝒂𝒖𝒈𝒉𝒕 𝒊𝒏 𝒂 𝒕𝒓𝒂𝒑” (𝑷𝒓𝒐𝒗𝒆𝒓𝒃𝒔 3:26 𝑵𝑳𝑻).

𝑰 𝒘𝒊𝒍𝒍 𝒍𝒊𝒆 𝒂𝒘𝒂𝒌𝒆 𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒏𝒌𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒐𝒇 𝒚𝒐𝒖 [𝑳𝒐𝒓𝒅], 𝒎𝒆𝒅𝒊𝒕𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒐𝒏 𝒚𝒐𝒖𝒓 𝒕𝒉𝒓𝒐𝒖𝒈𝒉 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒏𝒊𝒈𝒉𝒕.

In the Scripture above, the Psalmist declared that he would lie awake thinking and meditating on the Lord all through the night. That’s the right way to use the night. Sadly, what some of God’s children do is stay awake worrying crying over their situations all through the night; and that’s why they hardly walk in victory.

Literally, night is the period after sunset when people go to sleep and rest for the day. But figuratively, night seasons are seasons of challenges, hardship, and evil attacks. Now, in both the literal and figurative nights, learn to meditate on the Word of God and pray. Train and discipline yourself to do so often. For instance, if you consciously or unintentionally wake up at night, don’t just go back to sleep; instead, pray, or worship the Lord, or meditate on the Word, before returning to sleep. Be like the Psalmist who said, “𝑰 𝒔𝒕𝒂𝒚 𝒂𝒘𝒂𝒌𝒆 𝒕𝒉𝒓𝒐𝒖𝒈𝒉 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒏𝒊𝒈𝒉𝒕 𝒕𝒐 𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒏𝒌 𝒂𝒃𝒐𝒖𝒕 𝒚𝒐𝒖𝒓 𝒑𝒓𝒐𝒎𝒊𝒔𝒆𝒔” (𝑷𝒔𝒂𝒍𝒎 119:148 𝑻𝑳𝑩).

There are many great benefits of making good use of the night for godly, spiritual activities. One among many benefits is that it brings great blessings and spiritual insight. Attesting to this, the Psalmist said, “𝑴𝒚 𝒔𝒐𝒖𝒍 𝒔𝒉𝒂𝒍𝒍 𝒃𝒆 𝒔𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒔𝒇𝒊𝒆𝒅 𝒂𝒔 𝒘𝒊𝒕𝒉 𝒎𝒂𝒓𝒓𝒐𝒘 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒇𝒂𝒕𝒏𝒆𝒔𝒔, 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒎𝒚 𝒎𝒐𝒖𝒕𝒉 𝒔𝒉𝒂𝒍𝒍 𝒑𝒓𝒂𝒊𝒔𝒆 𝒀𝒐𝒖 𝒘𝒊𝒕𝒉 𝒋𝒐𝒚𝒇𝒖𝒍 𝒍𝒊𝒑𝒔. 𝑾𝒉𝒆𝒏 𝑰 𝒓𝒆𝒎𝒆𝒎𝒃𝒆𝒓 𝒀𝒐𝒖 𝒐𝒏 𝒎𝒚 𝒃𝒆𝒅, 𝑰 𝒎𝒆𝒅𝒊𝒕𝒂𝒕𝒆 𝒐𝒏 𝒀𝒐𝒖 𝒊𝒏 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒏𝒊𝒈𝒉𝒕 𝒘𝒂𝒕𝒄𝒉𝒆𝒔” (𝑷𝒔𝒂𝒍𝒎 63:5-6 𝑵𝑲𝑱𝑽).

𝑨𝒓𝒆 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒘𝒆𝒂𝒓𝒚, 𝒄𝒂𝒓𝒓𝒚𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒂 𝒉𝒆𝒂𝒗𝒚 𝒃𝒖𝒓𝒅𝒆𝒏? 𝑻𝒉𝒆𝒏 𝒄𝒐𝒎𝒆 𝒕𝒐 𝒎𝒆. 𝑰 𝒘𝒊𝒍𝒍 𝒓𝒆𝒇𝒓𝒆𝒔𝒉 𝒚𝒐𝒖𝒓 𝒍𝒊𝒇𝒆, 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝑰 𝒂𝒎 𝒚𝒐𝒖𝒓 𝒐𝒂𝒔𝒊𝒔.

An oasis is “𝘈 𝘧𝘦𝘳𝘵𝘪𝘭𝘦 𝘰𝘳 𝘭𝘶𝘴𝘩 𝘢𝘳𝘦𝘢 𝘪𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘮𝘪𝘥𝘥𝘭𝘦 𝘰𝘧 𝘢 𝘥𝘦𝘴𝘦𝘳𝘵 𝘰𝘳 𝘩𝘢𝘳𝘴𝘩 𝘦𝘯𝘷𝘪𝘳𝘰𝘯𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵, 𝘴𝘶𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘪𝘯𝘦𝘥 𝘣𝘺 𝘢 𝘴𝘰𝘶𝘳𝘤𝘦 𝘰𝘧 𝘧𝘳𝘦𝘴𝘩 𝘸𝘢𝘵𝘦𝘳.” Metaphorically, it refers to “𝘈 𝘳𝘦𝘧𝘶𝘨𝘦, 𝘢 𝘩𝘢𝘷𝘦𝘯, 𝘰𝘳 𝘢 𝘴𝘢𝘧𝘦 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘱𝘦𝘢𝘤𝘦𝘧𝘶𝘭 𝘱𝘭𝘢𝘤𝘦 𝘰𝘳 𝘴𝘢𝘯𝘤𝘵𝘶𝘢𝘳𝘺, 𝘸𝘩𝘪𝘤𝘩 𝘱𝘳𝘰𝘷𝘪𝘥𝘦𝘴 𝘳𝘦𝘭𝘪𝘦𝘧, 𝘴𝘦𝘤𝘶𝘳𝘪𝘵𝘺, 𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘵, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘴𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘴𝘧𝘢𝘤𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘪𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘮𝘪𝘥𝘴𝘵 𝘰𝘧 𝘥𝘪𝘧𝘧𝘪𝘤𝘶𝘭𝘵𝘺, 𝘤𝘩𝘢𝘰𝘴, 𝘰𝘳 𝘢𝘥𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘴𝘪𝘵𝘺.” An oasis is a refuge of peace, pleasure, prosperity, and protection from troubles, unrest, violence, and wickedness.

The Lord is our oasis. He is our refuge of rest, protection, and triumph. Those who trust in Him will never defeated by circumstances and adversities. Addressing the Lord with the knowledge of this truth, the Psalmist said: “𝑮𝒐𝒅, 𝒚𝒐𝒖’𝒓𝒆 𝒔𝒖𝒄𝒉 𝒂 𝒔𝒂𝒇𝒆 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒑𝒐𝒘𝒆𝒓𝒇𝒖𝒍 𝒑𝒍𝒂𝒄𝒆 𝒕𝒐 𝒇𝒊𝒏𝒅 𝒓𝒆𝒇𝒖𝒈𝒆! 𝒀𝒐𝒖’𝒓𝒆 𝒂 𝒑𝒓𝒐𝒗𝒆𝒏 𝒉𝒆𝒍𝒑 𝒊𝒏 𝒕𝒊𝒎𝒆 𝒐𝒇 𝒕𝒓𝒐𝒖𝒃𝒍𝒆–𝒎𝒐𝒓𝒆 𝒕𝒉𝒂𝒏 𝒆𝒏𝒐𝒖𝒈𝒉 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒂𝒍𝒘𝒂𝒚𝒔 𝒂𝒗𝒂𝒊𝒍𝒂𝒃𝒍𝒆 𝒘𝒉𝒆𝒏𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒓 𝑰 𝒏𝒆𝒆𝒅 𝒚𝒐𝒖” (𝑷𝒔𝒂𝒍𝒎 46:1 𝑻𝑷𝑻). In another place he declared: “𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝑳𝒐𝒓𝒅 𝒂𝒍𝒔𝒐 𝒘𝒊𝒍𝒍 𝒃𝒆 𝒂 𝒓𝒆𝒇𝒖𝒈𝒆 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒐𝒑𝒑𝒓𝒆𝒔𝒔𝒆𝒅, 𝒂 𝒓𝒆𝒇𝒖𝒈𝒆 𝒊𝒏 𝒕𝒊𝒎𝒆𝒔 𝒐𝒇 𝒕𝒓𝒐𝒖𝒃𝒍𝒆” (𝑷𝒔𝒂𝒍𝒎 9:9).

Boldly declare: “Christ is my Oasis.” If you walk in this consciousness daily and confess it often, the evils happening around you will never touch you and your loved ones. Like the Psalmist, learn to say things like: “𝑯𝒆 [𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑳𝒐𝒓𝒅] 𝒂𝒍𝒐𝒏𝒆 𝒊𝒔 𝒎𝒚 𝒓𝒐𝒄𝒌 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒎𝒚 𝒔𝒂𝒍𝒗𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏, 𝒎𝒚 𝒇𝒐𝒓𝒕𝒓𝒆𝒔𝒔 𝒘𝒉𝒆𝒓𝒆 𝑰 𝒘𝒊𝒍𝒍 𝒏𝒐𝒕 𝒃𝒆 𝒔𝒉𝒂𝒌𝒆𝒏. 𝑴𝒚 𝒗𝒊𝒄𝒕𝒐𝒓𝒚 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒉𝒐𝒏𝒐𝒓 𝒄𝒐𝒎𝒆 𝒇𝒓𝒐𝒎 𝑮𝒐𝒅 𝒂𝒍𝒐𝒏𝒆. As Christians, it’s our calling to reflect Christ every day and everywhere we find ourselves. Like mirrors, we are to brightly reflect the glory, love, grace, and character of Christ everywhere. This is part of “The Ministry of the Saint” in Christ; so, take it seriously, and practice it daily.

True Christianity is the revelation, manifestation, and reflection of Christ in and through the Christian. Consciously and consistently reflect Christ to the world and to those around you, until reflecting His love, character, and glory becomes an unconscious thing in your daily life. That’s one way to represent Him wherever you are. “𝑾𝒉𝒂𝒕𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒓 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒅𝒐 𝒐𝒓 𝒔𝒂𝒚, 𝒅𝒐 𝒊𝒕 𝒂𝒔 𝒂 𝒓𝒆𝒑𝒓𝒆𝒔𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒗𝒆 𝒐𝒇 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑳𝒐𝒓𝒅 𝑱𝒆𝒔𝒖𝒔…” (𝑪𝒐𝒍𝒐𝒔𝒔𝒊𝒂𝒏𝒔 3:17 𝑵𝑳𝑻).

Always speak and act as one who knows and represents the Lord, reflecting His character by the way you live. “𝑳𝒆𝒕 𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒓𝒚 𝒂𝒄𝒕𝒊𝒗𝒊𝒕𝒚 𝒐𝒇 𝒚𝒐𝒖𝒓 𝒍𝒊𝒗𝒆𝒔 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒓𝒚 𝒘𝒐𝒓𝒅 𝒕𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝒄𝒐𝒎𝒆𝒔 𝒐𝒖𝒕 𝒇𝒓𝒐𝒎 𝒚𝒐𝒖𝒓 𝒍𝒊𝒑𝒔 𝒃𝒆 𝒅𝒓𝒆𝒏𝒄𝒉𝒆𝒅 𝒘𝒊𝒕𝒉 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒃𝒆𝒂𝒖𝒕𝒚 𝒐𝒇 𝒐𝒖𝒓 𝑳𝒐𝒓𝒅 𝑱𝒆𝒔𝒖𝒔, 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑨𝒏𝒐𝒊𝒏𝒕𝒆𝒅 𝑶𝒏𝒆…” (𝑪𝒐𝒍𝒐𝒔𝒔𝒊𝒂𝒏𝒔 3:17 𝑻𝑷𝑻). Practice this instruction like it matters, because it really matters to the heart of our Father. Reflect Christ everywhere, and let his beauty be heard in every word you speak, and seen in all of your actions.

The Name of the Lord Jesus Christ is the greatest and most honoured Name in heaven and on earth, and in the realms of darkness. Every force, tongue, and being bows in submission to the lordship of His Name. The Bible says, “…𝑮𝒐𝒅 𝒆𝒙𝒂𝒍𝒕𝒆𝒅 𝒉𝒊𝒎 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒎𝒖𝒍𝒕𝒊𝒑𝒍𝒊𝒆𝒅 𝒉𝒊𝒔 𝒈𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒕𝒏𝒆𝒔𝒔! 𝑯𝒆 𝒉𝒂𝒔 𝒏𝒐𝒘 𝒃𝒆𝒆𝒏 𝒈𝒊𝒗𝒆𝒏 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒈𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒕𝒆𝒔𝒕 𝒐𝒇 𝒂𝒍𝒍 𝒏𝒂𝒎𝒆𝒔” (𝑷𝒉𝒊𝒍𝒊𝒑𝒑𝒊𝒂𝒏𝒔 2:9 𝑻𝑷𝑻).

As a Christian, you must learn to always function the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ if you truly desire to constantly live victoriously over the forces and works of darkness, and over adverse circumstances. The ways to function is His Name are: first, consistently live in the consciousness of the power of the Name Jesus. And secondly, use the Name in every situation, and against all evil forces and their wicked works. Don’t just call the Name of Jesus; instead, learn to use or apply it, by making declarations and decrees in His Name.

The Bible instructs us to “…𝒅𝒐 𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒓𝒚𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒊𝒏 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒏𝒂𝒎𝒆 𝒐𝒇 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑳𝒐𝒓𝒅 𝑱𝒆𝒔𝒖𝒔…” (𝑪𝒐𝒍𝒐𝒔𝒔𝒊𝒂𝒏𝒔 3:17 𝑯𝑪𝑺𝑩). You will always win, and never lose, if you always function in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ, because “𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝒂𝒖𝒕𝒉𝒐𝒓𝒊𝒕𝒚 𝒐𝒇 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒏𝒂𝒎𝒆 𝒐𝒇 𝑱𝒆𝒔𝒖𝒔 𝒄𝒂𝒖𝒔𝒆𝒔 𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒓𝒚 𝒌𝒏𝒆𝒆 𝒕𝒐 𝒃𝒐𝒘 𝒊𝒏 𝒓𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒓𝒆𝒏𝒄𝒆! As a Christian, there should be excellence and dignity in all areas of your life, because you are a representative of the Lord Jesus Christ and His glorious Kingdom in the earth. Everything about you should reflect, express, reveal, and manifest the life, nature, character, and excellence of Christ.

One way to represent and reflect Christ in your world is by living responsibly. To live responsibly is to live rightly, reliably, wisely, and with dignity. Talk with honour, act humbly, and respect yourself and every other person around you. Don’t talk carelessly or without restraints, and don’t act arrogantly or address people disrespectfully, as though you are spiritually untrained. The Bible instructs us to “𝑺𝒉𝒐𝒘 𝒓𝒆𝒔𝒑𝒆𝒄𝒕 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒓𝒚𝒐𝒏𝒆. 𝑳𝒐𝒗𝒆 𝑪𝒉𝒓𝒊𝒔𝒕𝒊𝒂𝒏𝒔 𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒓𝒚𝒘𝒉𝒆𝒓𝒆. 𝑭𝒆𝒂𝒓 𝑮𝒐𝒅 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒉𝒐𝒏𝒐𝒓 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒈𝒐𝒗𝒆𝒓𝒏𝒎𝒆𝒏𝒕” (1 𝑷𝒆𝒕𝒆𝒓 2:17 𝑻𝑳𝑩).

Your life will start to attract people to Christ when you live responsibly and godly. God hates irresponsibility, so much so, that He cautions us to avoid those who live irresponsibly, so they don’t influence us to be like them. He said, “…𝒌𝒆𝒆𝒑 𝒂𝒘𝒂𝒚 𝒇𝒓𝒐𝒎 𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒓𝒚 𝒃𝒓𝒐𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒓 𝒘𝒉𝒐 𝒘𝒂𝒍𝒌𝒔 𝒊𝒓𝒓𝒆𝒔𝒑𝒐𝒏𝒔𝒊𝒃𝒍𝒚…” (2 𝑻𝒉𝒆𝒔𝒔𝒂𝒍𝒐𝒏𝒊𝒂𝒏𝒔 3:6 𝑯𝑪𝑺𝑩). Be a responsible Christian everywhere–at church, at work, at school, on the street, in your neighbourhood, in your family, and everywhere you find yourself.

Being a Christian, you are a seed of Abraham; thus, you are blessed to be a blessing. Be helper, and not a hindrance to those around you. Be kind and generous enough to help those in need, and help the work of God grow. In 𝟏 𝐂𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐥𝐞𝐬 𝟏𝟐:𝟏-𝟐𝟎, certain men came to be with David before he became the king of Israel, to help him in the battles he was facing at the time, and help him accomplish God’s dream for his life and for the Nation of Israel. The Bible refers to them as: “𝑯𝒆𝒍𝒑𝒆𝒓𝒔 𝒐𝒇 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒘𝒂𝒓” (1 𝑪𝒉𝒓𝒐𝒏𝒊𝒄𝒍𝒆𝒔 12:1).

Be a ‘helper of the war’ to your Pastor, to the church, to your family, and to those around you. Don’t close your heart and eyes to the needs of those around you if you can do something about them. 𝑪𝒂𝒍𝒍 𝒕𝒐 𝒎𝒆, 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑰 𝒘𝒊𝒍𝒍 𝒂𝒏𝒔𝒘𝒆𝒓 𝒚𝒐𝒖. 𝑰 𝒘𝒊𝒍𝒍 𝒕𝒆𝒍𝒍 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒈𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒕 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒎𝒚𝒔𝒕𝒆𝒓𝒊𝒐𝒖𝒔 𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒏𝒈𝒔 𝒕𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒅𝒐 𝒏𝒐𝒕 𝒌𝒏𝒐𝒘.

Really, God is more willing to answer our prayers than we are willing to pray. What He wants is that we boldly pray and boldly ask of Him whatever we desire. If there’s something you need to know from God about a particular situation, or about your future or your purpose for living, boldly ask Him, and He will answer you. He said, “𝑪𝒂𝒍𝒍 𝒕𝒐 𝒎𝒆, 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑰 𝒘𝒊𝒍𝒍 𝒂𝒏𝒔𝒘𝒆𝒓 𝒚𝒐𝒖. 𝑰 𝒘𝒊𝒍𝒍 𝒕𝒆𝒍𝒍 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒈𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒕 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒎𝒚𝒔𝒕𝒆𝒓𝒊𝒐𝒖𝒔 𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒏𝒈𝒔 𝒕𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒅𝒐 𝒏𝒐𝒕 𝒌𝒏𝒐𝒘” (𝑱𝒆𝒓𝒆𝒎𝒊𝒂𝒉 33:3 𝑮𝑾).

Pray bold prayers. Boldly make your requests known to the Lord, and don’t feel guilty about making such requests. Ask big, and expect answers from the Lord. Being a child of God, you must understand that nothing is too good for you, because you deserve God’s very best. God will never withhold from you the answers to your prayers. The Bible says, “𝑱𝒆𝒉𝒐𝒗𝒂𝒉 𝑮𝒐𝒅 𝒊𝒔 𝒐𝒖𝒓 𝑳𝒊𝒈𝒉𝒕 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒐𝒖𝒓 𝑷𝒓𝒐𝒕𝒆𝒄𝒕𝒐𝒓. 𝑯𝒆 𝒈𝒊𝒗𝒆𝒔 𝒖𝒔 𝒈𝒓𝒂𝒄𝒆 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒈𝒍𝒐𝒓𝒚. 𝑵𝒐 𝒈𝒐𝒐𝒅 𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒘𝒊𝒍𝒍 𝑯𝒆 𝒘𝒊𝒕𝒉𝒉𝒐𝒍𝒅 𝒇𝒓𝒐𝒎 𝒕𝒉𝒐𝒔𝒆 𝒘𝒉𝒐 𝒘𝒂𝒍𝒌 𝒂𝒍𝒐𝒏𝒈 𝒉𝒊𝒔 𝒑𝒂𝒕𝒉𝒔” (𝑷𝒔𝒂𝒍𝒎 84:11 𝑻𝑳𝑩).

Every time you pray, boldly ask the Lord whatever you desire of Him; He will answer you. He delights in you and in your prayers: “𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝑳𝒐𝒓𝒅…𝒅𝒆𝒍𝒊𝒈𝒉𝒕𝒔 𝒊𝒏 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒑𝒓𝒂𝒚𝒆𝒓𝒔 𝒐𝒇 𝒉𝒊𝒔 𝒑𝒆𝒐𝒑𝒍𝒆” (𝑷𝒓𝒐𝒗𝒆𝒓𝒃𝒔 15:7 𝑻𝑳𝑩). So, boldly “𝑨𝒔𝒌, 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒘𝒊𝒍𝒍 𝒃𝒆 𝒈𝒊𝒗𝒆𝒏 𝒘𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒂𝒔𝒌 𝒇𝒐𝒓…” (𝑴𝒂𝒕𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒘 7:7 𝑻𝑳𝑩).

𝘍𝘢𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳, 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘯𝘬 𝘠𝘰𝘶 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘢𝘭𝘸𝘢𝘺𝘴 𝘢𝘯𝘴𝘸𝘦𝘳𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘮𝘺 𝘱𝘳𝘢𝘺𝘦𝘳𝘴. 𝘐 𝘢𝘤𝘬𝘯𝘰𝘸𝘭𝘦𝘥𝘨𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘠𝘰𝘶 𝘥𝘦𝘭𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵 𝘪𝘯 𝘮𝘺 𝘱𝘳𝘢𝘺𝘦𝘳𝘴, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘠𝘰𝘶 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘮𝘰𝘳𝘦 𝘸𝘪𝘭𝘭𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘰 𝘢𝘯𝘴𝘸𝘦𝘳 𝘮𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘯 𝘐 𝘢𝘮 𝘸𝘪𝘭𝘭𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘰 𝘱𝘳𝘢𝘺 𝘵𝘰 𝘠𝘰𝘶.
