1) Prepare your wallet
1. Install Gate Web3
Desktop: Add the Gate Wallet browser extension (Chrome/Brave/Edge).
Mobile: Use the Gate Web3 wallet (or the Gate.io app’s Web3 wallet) and its built-in DApp Browser.
2. Create or import a wallet
Write down your seed phrase on paper (offline). Never type it into any website or send it to anyone.
3. Select the correct network
WLFI will live on a specific chain (e.g., Ethereum / BSC / Polygon). In Gate Web3, open the network selector and choose that chain.
If it isn’t listed, add it via Manage Networks using the official RPC details from WLFI’s docs.
4. Add a little gas on that chain
Ethereum → a small amount of ETH; BSC → BNB; Polygon → MATIC, etc. (You’ll need this to sign/claim.)
5. (Optional) Add the WLFI token to your wallet
In Gate Web3, Add Token → paste the official WLFI contract address (from WLFI’s official docs). Verify the symbol/decimals.
2) Connect to the WLFI website
Desktop (extension):
1. Open the official World Liberty Financial website (double-check the URL).
2. Click Connect Wallet.
3. Choose Gate Web3 / Injected. If you don’t see it, choose WalletConnect → your wallet will show a prompt.
4. In the wallet, Approve/Connect.
Mobile (DApp browser):
1. Open Gate Web3 → DApp Browser.
2. Paste the WLFI site URL.
3. Tap Connect Wallet → approve the connection.
3) Activate your Lockbox / Bind your address
1. Go to Unlock $WLFI / Lockbox page.
2. If prompted to Activate / Bind / Sign, approve the message signature (free, no gas) so the site knows which address is yours.
3. You should now see your vesting/unlock schedule. (Before the unlock date it will show 0 and controls may be disabled—that’s normal.)
4) Claim on/after the unlock date
1. Make sure you’re on the right network & address.
2. Refresh the page after the unlock opens; the Claim / Unlock button should become active.
3. Click Claim / Unlock, confirm the transaction in Gate Web3, and pay the small gas fee.
4. Wait for confirmation; your WLFI should appear in your wallet (if you added the token contract).
5) If you still see “Unable to proceed”
Unlock hasn’t started yet: Schedules are often tied to a precise UTC time—convert to your local time.
Wrong network: Switch to the chain WLFI uses.
Wallet not actually connected: The site should show your address in the header; reconnect if not.
Different account: Check you’re using the same address that participated in the presale/was whitelisted.
Outdated wallet/cache: Update Gate Web3, hard-refresh the site, or try another browser.
Mobile vs desktop: If the extension gives trouble, try the mobile DApp browser (or vice-versa).
Insufficient gas: Add a bit more ETH/BNB/MATIC depending on the chain.
Ad-blockers / trackers: Temporarily disable them for the site.
6) Safety checklist (important)
Only use official links and the official WLFI contract address.
