Governor Zulum clears ₦622.3m NECO fees for 27,599 Borno students

Three years later, those promises ring hollow. Instead, Niger finds itself increasingly dependent on Russia, torn by internal military divisions, and estranged from its West African neighbours. Aiyedatiwa vows to clear inherited pension arrears as Ondo begins N3.82bn gratuity payment to retirees

Ondo State Governor, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, has flagged off the payment of N3.82 billion in gratuities to 985 retired workers of the state public service, covering the 2020 retirement batch and outstanding beneficiaries from 2015 to 2019. The payment, which was flagged off on Wednesday at the Cocoa Conference Centre, Governor’s Office, Alagbaka, Akure, is part of the state government’s effort to settle outstanding gratuity obligations owed to retired workers....
