Today was the third time I saw the girl who carries boiled eggs and I bought from her...

Let me tell you how it started...

The first day I saw her, I was on my way to work that morning and I had some jollof spaghetti that I packaged to eat.

The food didn't have any protein or it's element and I was already wondering where I could get a boiled egg that morning,

Only for a girl to walk pass me with a bucket of boiled eggs.

I wanted to buy it at first but then, I remembered I didn't know her and I couldn't say if it was safe to eat her eggs and so I passed.

Today was my third time seeing her and I bought from her this time.

Because:

📌She didn't look like she was fake
📌I saw her again and I was convinced she is a human..

Now, that is exactly what you are bypassing:

📌 Showing up consistently with your products or services
📌 Gaining and building trust before selling...

Do you know that?

Your ideal clients are checking you out.

Your customers are doing the same too.

They are not buying yet because you have not made them believe in how genuine you are.

Funny enough, you are not helping matters.

You show up once and disappear twice and then cry all day that LinkedIn doesn't work, which is not true.

Rather than bypassing the sales process and anticipating sales..

Focus on the processes, doing it strategically and consistently.

If I URGENTLY needed to increase my sales in my 2-3 weeks as a novice,

Here are the exact strategies I will use:

1. I will stop disturbing Chatgpt and chrome on "how to sell" and start selling.

This is because,

Selling isn't theory. It is practical. I will talk to two people everyday, Introducing my products to them and focusing on the benefits rather than the features.

I can do it offline or online depending on where my target market is.

2. I will carefully study and understand my target market, rather than doing a trial and error effect.

Selling isn't difficult only if you know your onions and one of them is by understanding your target market.

It's not just enough to know them. It is compulsory that you understand them.

Nothing is more confusing as when you do not know who you are selling your services or products to.

3. I will invest HEAVILY in marketing that generates quality leads...

Emphasis on "heavily".

If your sales must increase in the space of two to three weeks,

Then, your marketing game must be 10 times what you are expecting.

Invest in content marketing, paid marketing, influencer marketing, referral marketing and many more, specifically targeting your target market.

The more the eyes that see your product, the higher the changes of generating quality leads.

4. I will stop trying to sound perfect in my messaging but focus on content:

✅That Speaks to their pain points.
✅That Makes them want to truly buy my product.

Because, selling isn't about who is the smartest.

It's about who is able to relate with a client at the level they are and make them truly see why they need a product or a service.

And in achieving that, You don't need to be perfect.

You don't need to speak powerfully to everyone,

You need to speak directly to someone.

You only need to genuinely care about your market.

5. I will invest in SYSTEMS and prioritize feedback from my buyers.

I will invest in SYSTEMS just because, I do not want the sales to be a one time thing,

When you do not have a system that constantly brings in sales to your brand,

You will be running after your supposed clients everyday,

And probably spend all your chasing clients and customers,

Which should not be so for a healthy brand.

I will also prioritize feedbacks to improve customer experiences.

Why?

Because your satisfied customers are a great form of marketing.

Selling Online will be easier for you if you understand these:

📌 That your product alone isn't enough to make your ideal market buy from you...

And that's not because your product is bad either.

The moment you understand that people buy a product or pay for a service because of:

✅ The person or the brand associated with the product ( Branding)

✅ How you connect your product to their needs and emotions ( How you make them feel)

Here's what most experts have refused to tell you about selling online...

You need to hear the truth, even if it's just once...

Everyday you come online, You scroll from one platform to another seeking for more selling secrets and hacks to implement,

But at the end of the day, you retire back with zero results...

But what you were not told is that, "You do not need more selling skills"..

"You only need better listening skills"

The best sales come from these 3 questions:

1. What is my audience tired of?

2. What have they tried that failed?

3. What do they secretly wish was possible?

Will you talk?.. Less!!

Because if all you do is to talk, your audience tags you selfish...

Selling isn't about you or your pocket. It is about what your audience needs and wants.

What have you promised a customer before just to make them buy from you?

I used to work as a sales representative for a herbal company where I marketed and sold herbal tea to individuals majorly in the market place.

The reason why I chose to sell to market people was because they were usually in the market as early as possible and barely had time to take their breakfast which was the reason for the tea.

The herbal tea was just to boost their immune system and keep them stronger...

Sales kept going on until I met this one man..

Despite how beneficial the tea was, he needed another reason to buy from me.

It was so frustrating because he insisted and I needed to sell..

Not because he was the only customer for that day but because I needed to exhaust all my tea and return back with an empty flask...

He was quite an aged man and after so many drags and conversations in between,

" I promised to sell with him just for the day".. only if he buys from me.

Maybe it can be considered as an offer or maybe not...

He eventually bought from me while the rest became a history.

And when I remembered it today, It got me thinking of the number of times you have made numerous sacrifices to ensure that your customers trust your brand and are satisfied..

I have never trusted God as much as I did in my service year...

I am writing this while on transit to complete the journey that began a year ago..

I started it scared and confused but while on it, things fell in place just as God designed for it to be..

So many experiences and stories I own from this journey, It is more or less a tale at this point...

For the lessons, opportunities,memories and experiences.. I am glad I didn't miss any because it made this journey a memorable one..

So whilst I await your congratulations, Cheers to another phase unlocked...

Fake life is expensive but that doesn't apply to your brand...

If you think packaging your brand or your product is a waste of money,

Then you are not ready to earn according to your worth.

The reason why a bottle of water can sell at various prices in various places is because of packaging.....

When you treat your brand as anyhow, your customers will see it in such a way and sorry,

You will struggle to sell out your products in the quantities you desire...

Your ideal customers buy with their eyes, before they make actual payments...

If your brand, business or products are not appealing to your target market,

You will just be seen as a broke vendor or brand desperately in need of money,

And the bad news?..

Your target market do not wish to be associated with such a brand...

Before you put out your products or offers,

Be sure it's very appealing...

Remember, if you treat your business to be anyhow, you will struggle to earn your worth...

You may think the same about your favorite Creators..

But that's not true.

The difference between me and what you think of me is that I show up and refuse to be held down.

I have my fears.

I am also worried if what I'm doing will yield results or not

I have the same fears as you do but I choose not to stick to it.

It's a new month.

It's another quarter of the year.

It's another opportunity to push aside all fears and doubts and show up...

Just start!!!!
