My first ever published book in English and my first book written in America, IS OUT!

It is published in America, just a year after first physics in African language (Igbo) was published by me.

The title is, “Understanding the Igbo Culture of Nigeria.”

This book is unique and its contents filled the gap of resources lacking in documentation of authentic culture of the Igbo and oral traditions. The book contains twenty chapters narratively expressing the Igbo culture and diverse traditions hand down by our ancestors.

There are many traditions gone extinct this book revived and preserve for this generation and generations to come. The idea is borne out of my decades of experience in traveling around Igbo land and researching various traditions of our ancestors.

Many Igbo don’t even know anymore what really is Igbo culture. The solution is here. The book is written in a certain way even an uneducated can comprehend it.

It gives a historical background of Nigeria: precolonialism, slave trade, colonialism, post colonialism, the Igbo and other vital introductory remarks that would make foreigners understand the political and historical landscape of Nigeria and the Igbo.

I hope the Igbo home and abroad, non Igbo, scholars and everyone will find this resource useful in understanding the Igbo culture of Nigeria.

One year, after countless rejections by Amazon, the first physics Textbook in Igbo language can now be purchased anywhere in the world from Amazon. The link to order it is on the comment section below.

I tried publishing it on Amazon even before releasing it in Nigeria last year, but Amazon rejected it. Igbo Language is not supported by Amazon. In fact, only about 46 languages are supported.

To scale through, you must write a bilingual book. It must be at least English and Igbo. But I didn't want that. Before, we used to publish Igbo books through Createspace. When Amazon acquired it, you cannot publish any book written entirely in Igbo. It becomes a problem. The diacritic marks will be flagged and rejected.

I started fighting back. No giving up. Since last year, I kept on trying — writing to supporting group . Silence. It was rejected more than 30 times.

I still didn't give up. I kept on trying.

Now, the book is accepted and available for purchase on the same Amazon.

So, anywhere you are — in the US, UK, Canada, Germany, etc — no more "how can I get it?" You can get it now on Amazon.

Lesson: nothing is impossible. Be stubborn to your pursuit and keep trying even if you keep meeting rejections. Everything will work out fine. I am glad it's here now on Amazon platform.

Meanwhile, the book is in various libraries in the US and mostly importantly, the largest library in the whole world — Library of Congress, Washington DC, United States of America. It's under African and Middle East Section.

Maazị in the United States of America.

Thank you, United States of America for recognising my effort and giving me the honour to be in your country; not just that, to be offered a fully funded scholarship with Graduate Employment in one of your best Universities, to pursue one of my greatest dreams, that's being where I perfectly belong— academic world, where knowledge and education are highly valued. I pledge to give you my best.

I arrived at the airport — my final destination in midnight, then was shocked to see my name on placard, boldly written, displayed by Mr. Bill, an American (onye ọcha) who I was seeing for the first time, that almost that 12:00 AM when I arrived. Despite missing my flight that should have been 8:30 PM, he waited untill my arrival by 12: 00 AM. A great man in his 70s.

He drove me to his beautiful home and showed me more than 5 rooms in his duplex, that I should choose the one I prefer. Everything sorted out. Soft landing. Ọnụkwube ka ndị Bekee ji placard eche n'ime Airport, to welcome him?

I was received like a King. Treated like an egg in a strange land where I wasn't seen as a stranger but one who has a lot to offer the society.

Few months ago, my new book was available in the highest library in the world — Library of Congress, Washington DC, United States of America, in their catalogue under the Department of African and Middle East Section. I was in direct communication with the Head. My books have traveled before me. Now, it's time to go where my works are.

I have many stories to share, but before then, I want to say something to everyone and anyone reading this: "your dream is valid." Whatever you wish for, can come to past if you believe in yourself, your chi and decide to work very hard and legitimately without cutting corners and involving in illegality. God's time is the best. With patience, everything will be sorted out with time.

For those who have supported and encouraged me over the years, I do not take your support for granted. I remember you all and words cannot express how thankful I am.

I will be in the United States to do what my chi has endowed me with. The future looks more beautiful.

The first ever Physics textbook rendered in Nigerian language (Igbo) is OUT!!!!

Over the years, I have read so many threats facing the Igbo and how it will go extinct. This motivated me to embark on this project that seemed unattainable, for science subjects to be taught in Igbo. I started from Physics. I said I would do it, and I DID IT.

This book is designed in a way that one without formal education can understand Physics. It's needed in all libraries, schools, homes and for individual use.

Pastor arrested for b£ his wife to d£ in PH, Rivers State

Police operatives in Rivers State have arrested one Michael Chidozie for allegedly b£ating his 32-year-old wife and str@ngling her in their home in Port Harcourt, the state capital.

It was gathered that the victim, a mother of three identified as Ufuoma Eriera Chidozie, was allegedly b£ to d£ath in the wee hours of Tuesday, March 5, 2024.

The couple had three children, aged five, seven and 10. According to PMNews, some friends of the deceased alleged that her husband was in the habit of b£ating her every day even without provocation.

Close neighbors claim that whenever Chidozie wants to physically ab¥se his late wife, he will lock her inside their apartment and p¥mmel her to his satisfaction in order not to attract the attention of neighbors.

However, it was not clear what may have led to the last incident which led to the d£ath of the mother of three boys.

The suspect, said to be a pastor in one of the Pentecostal churches in Port Harcourt, fled the scene after calling his late wife’s brother to come that there was an emergency at home.

But it was gathered that the suspect was arrested on Wednesday morning by police personnel attached to Agip Police Division, Mile 4, Port Harcourt, following credible intelligence.

The Public Relations Officer of Rivers State Police Command, SP Grace Iringe-Koko confirmed the arrest of Chidozie.
