American actor, director, and activist Robert Redford has died at the age of 89. He passed away on September 16, 2025, at his home in Sundance, Utah. Redford was known for his iconic on-screen roles as well as for his significant contributions to independent cinema through the Sundance film festival and Institute. Rest in Power Robert.
