In darkness, shadows dance upon the wall,
A somber hue that chases light's warm call.
Yet, in its depths, a mysterious peace falls,
A silence that can soothe the troubled all.

But light, oh light, with radiance so bright,
Illuminates all, banishing the night.
With warmth and hope, it chases away the fright,
And brings new life to all that's lost its light.

Yet, darkness too has its own gentle might,
A time for rest, for contemplation's sight.
For in its depths, we find a peaceful night,
