💔🕊️Tragedy Strikes: UNN 600-Level Pharmacy Student, Idoko David, Loses Life in Road Accident
The University of Nigeria (UNN) community has been thrown into deep mourning following the tragic death of Comr. Idoko David Ikechukwu, a 600-level Pharmacy student, Igbo-Eze North LGA, Enugu State,who lost his life today in a fatal accident to a ghastly motor accident at four Corner involving a tipper and a keke. Three fatalities were recorded at the spot of the accident along UNTH Ituku-Ozalla road.
Idoko, who only recently relocated to Enugu with his classmates for their compulsory two-month clinical posting at the University of Nigeria Teaching Hospital (UNTH), was set to graduate in December. His untimely death has cast a heavy shadow of grief across the campus.
According to multiple reports, Comr. Idoko was a former aspirant for the Presidency of the Pharmaceutical Association of Nigerian Students (PANS), at faculty. He was widely admired for his vibrant intellect, leadership qualities, and academic brilliance, standing out as a first-class student with an exceptional cognitive ability.
His passing is not only a devastating loss to his classmates and the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences but also to the wider UNN community that recognized his potential as a future leader in his profession and beyond.
