El Rufai Vs Uba Sani

If you give me a choice, to select among the 2 whom I will like to govern me, Uba Sani will be my choice, no doubt.

There are many goods attached to El Rufai's name. He has indeed achieved a lot in both his private and public engagements.

If I were to compare El Rufai first tenure as Kaduna governor to Uba Sani's, then to me, Uba Sani is doing well or perhaps much better.

This is my metric for first tenure:

a. Human Capital development, Uba Sani will score more in comparison

b. Infrastructural development: Uba Sani is doing better in comparison

c. Adherence to rule of Law: Uba Sani is doing better in comparison

d. Security of lives and property: Uba Sani is doing better in comparison

e. Governance with a listening ear and compassion: Uba Sani is doing better in comparison.

d. Working synergy between Executive and Legislative: Uba Sani is doing better in comparison

During El Rufai's first tenure, many people were wondering, is this the same El Rufai that was FCT Minister?

The zest of El Rufai's achievement was in his second tenure. The urban renewal projects were the hallmark of his achievements.

However, it was during his second tenure that he decided to go haywire in planning his political destruction. Most of the stakeholders in the APC in Kaduna were alienated leading to the defection or expulsion of many.

For Southern Kaduna, with its history of violence, the situation became critical with daily killings and kidnapping becoming the order of the day. The security situation in Kaduna became so overwhelming.

During the 2023 election, with El Rufai as governor, APC loss virtually every elected position. It was by pure luck and political gerrymandering that made Uba Sani to scale through.

I really don't seem to understand why El Rufai and Uba Sani seem not to acknowledge their past and decide to go the way of a duel( mostly El Rufai doing the shooting).

It is my honest belief though, that Uba Sani and El Rufai are just acting a script. If not, how can you explain what is happening?

I stand to be corrected, but Uba Sani is in a better position politically in Kaduna than ever, and this is all thanks to El Rufai vituperation at the moment.

PRESS RELEASE

POLICE REFUTE SOWORE’S MISLEADING CLAIMS ON IGP EGBETOKUN’S TENURE.

Clarification: Appointment is Legal, Duly Confirmed by Police Council.

The Nigeria Police Force hereby refutes, in clear and unequivocal terms, the baseless and misleading claims recently attributed to Mr. Omoyele Sowore alleging that the tenure of the Inspector-General of Police, IGP Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun, Ph.D., NPM, is illegal. Such claims are entirely unfounded and seek to undermine the legitimacy of the IGP’s appointment as well as public confidence in the Nigeria Police.

IGP Egbetokun’s appointment is firmly grounded in law, specifically PART III, Section 7 (6) of the Police Act, 2020 (as amended). This provision explicitly states that “The person appointed to the office of the Inspector-General of Police shall hold office for four years.” Moreover, his appointment was duly ratified by the Police Council, and he has received the requisite confirmation letter from the Presidency, validating his tenure from October 31, 2023, to October 31, 2027, in line with the provisions of Section 8A of the executive bill passed which amended the Police Act, clearly stating that “Any person appointed to the office of Inspector-General of Police shall remain in office until the end of term stipulated in the letter of appointment in line with the provisions of section 7(6) of this Act. The amendment aims to provide stability and continuity in the leadership of the Nigeria Police Force, enabling the IGP to implement long-term plans and policies without fear of abrupt termination. This change is expected to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of the police force in maintaining law and order in the country.

It is crucial for members of the public to be aware that IGP Egbetokun’s status as the 22nd Indigenous Inspector-General of Police is both legally and procedurally sound. The Nigeria Police Force views Mr. Sowore’s unfounded assertions as an attempt to erode public trust and foster confusion regarding the force’s leadership. Dissemination of inaccurate information, particularly about the IGP’s standing, has the potential to compromise the security framework of our nation and impede our collective efforts to ensure peace and order.

The Nigeria Police hereby cautions individuals and groups against perpetuating such unfounded narratives that can mislead the public and jeopardize national security. We urge all citizens to focus on objective discussions that advance our shared mission of safeguarding lives and property, rather than indulging in disinformation that may undermine the significant strides we continue to make in maintaining public safety.

LIFE OF A NIGERIAN SOLDIER AT THE FRONTLINE

Bathing is optional. You can fetch and keep the boiling water😁 to get cold a bit and if you're around lake chad you do two things, keep to cold and also sieve the oil rust when it settles.

And when you bath, you still run out because of heat during summer. And during winter you might not bath for a week if you wish and there's no problem. Because the cold comes with both dry and breezy manual 😁

Eating, food is provided for troops. Except you're going for a task, go along with little ration.

Sleeping, we sacrifice our sleep for you and other well meaning Nigerians already.

But if there's no task, after your sentry/watch over, you can take a nap.

Die hard on X
