NIGERIA IS BLEEDING

Nigeria is not just crying
Nigeria is bleeding.
The church is bleeding
The northerners are bleeding
NIGERIA IS BLEEDING

Nigeria is not just crying
Nigeria is bleeding.
The church is bleeding
The northerners are bleeding

Bleeding from her borders, bleeding on her highways, bleeding in her farmlands, bleeding in her classrooms, bleeding in her worship centers, bleeding into the soil that once promised hope but now drinks the tears of grieving families every single day.

We now have more widows and widowers
We now have more orphas with Parents because of Bandits😭😭😭😭😭😭

This is no longer politics.
This is no longer propaganda.
This is no longer a security challenge.
This is a national funeral happening in slow motion.

Every day we wake up to new statistics numbers that were once people.

Fathers.Mothers. Children. Students. Traders. Farmers. Soldiers.

Innocent Nigerians whose only offense was being born in their own country.

When did life become this cheap?
When did fear become our national anthem?
When did silence become our survival strategy?

Terrorists are not spirits.
Bandits are not ghosts.
They are men armed, emboldened, funded, shielded by systems that have failed us again and again.

And while they kill, abduct, burn, raid, extort, and destroy, we are told to “move on,” “stay calm,” and “be prayerful,” as though prayer is a substitute for justice and governance.

But today, let the nation hear this loud and clear:
NIGERIA IS BLEEDING…

AND WE CAN NO LONGER PRETEND.

We cannot build a future on graves.
We cannot attract investors with insecurity.
We cannot preach unity with bullets flying.
We cannot sing the national anthem while our daughters are kidnapped and our soldiers ambushed.
We cannot talk about growth while terrorism grows faster than the economy.

Enough is enough.

STOP THE TERRORISTS.
STOP THE BANDITS.
STOP THE SLAUGHTER.
STOP THE SILENCE.

Nigeria deserves peace.
Nigerians deserve safety.
Families deserve closure.
Children deserve a future.

Security is not a privilege it is a right.
Leadership is not a title it is responsibility.

Only by addressing grievances with justice, fairness, and compassion can we move towards a future where every Nigerian feels heard, valued, and safe.......
Mr. Peter Obi

Kanu’s Conviction: At a Time Like This.
The news of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu’s conviction should compel every well-meaning Nigerian to pause and reflect. This is coming at a time when our beloved nation is facing severe economic hardship, insecurity, and the consequences of poor governance.

Rather than reducing tension, this unfortunate development may well only aggravate it.
I have always maintained that Mazi Kanu should never have been arrested. His arrest, detention, and now conviction represent a failure of leadership and a misunderstanding of the issues at stake.

For years, I have consistently argued that dialogue, constructive engagement, and inclusive governance offer the path to lasting peace. Coercion becomes necessary only when reason has been exhausted. In this case, I submit that the reason was not only not exhausted, but was probably not explored at all, or not fully explored.

The concerns Kanu raised were not unheard of. The issues for which he demanded solutions were not insoluble. It only required wisdom, empathy, and a willingness to listen. In any functional society, such grievances are met with dialogue and reforms aimed at strengthening unity.

The government’s approach has only deepened mistrust and created an avoidable distraction at a time when citizens are overwhelmed by harsh economic realities and insecurity. While some may insist that “the law has taken its course,” leadership often demands more than a strict, mechanical application of the law. Nations around the world resort to political solutions, negotiated settlements, and even amnesty when legal processes alone cannot serve the broader interest of peace and stability. Nigeria is not an exception.

The handling of Kanu’s case mirrors the government as a man trapped in a hole but who, instead of looking for a way out, keeps digging deeper. It worsens not only the government’s predicament but also the nation's collective condition.

If we truly desire a new Nigeria - a united, peaceful, and progressive one, our leaders must choose healing over hostility, reconciliation over retaliation, and dialogue over division. Only by addressing grievances with justice, fairness, and compassion can we move towards a future where every Nigerian feels heard, valued, and safe.

My ultimate call at this time, without prejudice to how anyone feels about the decision of the court, is for us to be optimistic for peace and reconciliation which will come in the end. I am also saying, thereby, that the Presidency, the Council of State and credible statesmen who love this country and who are interested in cohesion and inclusivity, should rise to the occasion, for a lasting solution.

DO UNTO OTHERS WHAT YOU WISH THEY DO UNTO YOU.

The woman my husband was spending all his money on… the woman he chose over me… was none other than my brother’s ex-wife.

For a moment, I lost my breath as I tried to process what I had just seen. My lips trembled in disbelief as my eyes locked on hers.

She recognized me instantly. Her eyes darted from me to my husband before she demanded, in a tone sharper than a question, “What is she doing here? Why did you bring her here?”

My husband glared at me, his voice ice-cold. “I didn't bring her here. She must have followed me. Leave. Go, before I do something I’ll regret.” There was no remorse in his tone. None.

And then she—my brother’s ex-wife—had the audacity to join in. “Stay away from my man,” she warned.

Her man?

By that, she meant my husband... the man I had been married to for seven years. She warned me as if I were the intruder, as if I were the one cheating.

My hand itched to slap her across the face, but before I could, my husband caught my wrist mid-air and shoved me backward. "Don't you dare," he warned.

The only word I managed to whisper was, “Why?”

She smiled. “Why do you think your brother divorced me? It was because of my man… my bestie.” She tilted her head toward my husband. “Before you married him, I knew him. I dated him. I loved him. Then you came into the picture, trying to take him from me. Fine, keep the marriage certificate, but he belongs to me.”

Her words pierced me like daggers. And before my eyes, she leaned close to my husband and whispered that she needed my car... yes, in addition to the one she already had.

And my husband, without hesitation, replied, “Your wish is my command.”

For a moment, I wondered if he was under some spell, but deep down I knew, this wasn’t charm. This was intentional.

He snatched my car key from my hand, proudly declaring he would drive it in as her car.

When he left, she seized that moment to stab me deeper. “You’re the reason I’m a divorcee today,” she sneered. “Didn’t you tell your brother you never liked me before we even got married? Didn’t you suspect me?"

I did suspect her.

"But he loved me, and he chose me anyway. Still, your words poisoned him. You sowed the discord that separated us. So I went back to my man to make sure you suffer like I did. Just prepare your mind for divorce.” She smiled wickedly.

That was when I realized, it was not about love. It was all about revenge.

Six years ago, when my brother introduced her to us as his bride-to-be, I had my doubts. She carried herself with a mask of decency, but I sensed another lifestyle lurking beneath.

My fears were confirmed the day I caught her clubbing, dancing wildly to rock music before a roaring audience.

I warned my brother. He brushed it aside. He was blinded by love.

Two years into the marriage, the truth came out. Her affairs were fueled by her shameless claim that if men cheat and get away with it, then women can too. She cheated on my brother.

So, my brother divorced her.

And yet, I was the one paying the price.

Just as I opened my mouth to scream at her wickedness, my husband returned, grabbed my arm and dragged me down the stairs. “Go home and take care of my children,” he warned.

“Which children?” I demanded.

“My boys! Go home and take care of my boys! I won’t warn you again!”

Something in me snapped. My voice came out raw, unfiltered. I didn't even know when I said it. “Which boys? You think they belong to you? They are not your children! Stop deceiving yourself!”

He froze. His grip on my hand loosened. Slowly, he turned to face me at the bottom of the stairs with his eyes burning with cold fury. “What did you just say?” He asked coldly.

I met his gaze, my own voice equally cold.
“They are not your children," I repeated fearlessly.

Real-Emmiwuks MEETS ANOTHER PROMINENT YOUTH, THIS TIME IN LIBERIA.

DAY66 NIG2USA ON A BICYCLE 🇳🇬🚴🇺🇲
Yesterday, I had the honor of meeting Hon. Raphael E. Donkolo, Assistant Minister for Alien Registration at the Ministry of Labour, Liberia. 🇱🇷
It was a wonderful and humbling moment sitting in his office to share the heart of this mission, why I ride, who I ride for, and the dreams tied to every kilometer I cover.
Hon. Raphael, a man of wisdom and a true lover of the youth, listened with so much attention, encouraged me deeply, planted words of wisdom in my heart, and even promised to support this movement. That, to me, is leadership with heart. ❤️

Special appreciation goes to my newfound friend and brother here in Liberia, Clinton N. Kpozeh, who made this connection possible. Mr Clinton, your kindness and support will always remain part of this journey.

Every meeting like this reminds me that this mission is bigger than me, it is about Africa, unity, and the children we are trying to raise hope for.

Together we ride. Together we rise.
