The Lagos State Police Command has arrested a serving officer over an alleged fraud involving N915,000 in a failed rice supply transaction. According to police sources, the officer, an Inspector attached to the Command, allegedly collected the money from a complainant in January 2024 with a promise to deliver 20 bags of rice. The matter was formally reported on September 11, 2025, at about 2:34 p.m, repeated attempts by the complainant to recover either the goods or the money proved unsuccessful....
