Umahi reveals Phase one of Lagos-Badagry highway is 95% completed

The 23km Phase One of the Lagos-Badagry Highway is 95% completed, the Minister of Works, Sen. Dave Umahi, said on Monday in Lagos. Umahi made this known while inspecting the project. FG inaugurates N40b CCTV centre with 240 solar panels on third mainland bridge

The Federal Government on Sunday inaugurated the N40 billion Close Circuit Television Camera (CCTV) Centre of the Third Mainland Bridge in Lagos State. Bandits attack Sokoto community, abduct over 10 women

At least two people were shot and more than 10 women abducted when bandits attacked Tudun Mallam village in Wurno Local Government Area of Sokoto State on Sunday night. The incident was disclosed in a post shared on X on Monday by security analyst Bakatsine. Husband, wife, children found dead in an apartment in Rivers

Nigerian army troops rescue 18 passengers abducted by sea pirates on Cameroon coast

Troops of the Nigerian Army have rescued 18 passengers, including two infants, abducted by suspected sea pirates during an attack on a passenger boat travelling from Nigeria to Cameroon. A credible source at the Army Headquarters told the News Agency of Nigeria, NAN, that the rescue operation was conducted on Sunday. According to the source, the rescue followed a distress call, after pirates operating in two speedboats and a wooden boat hijacked the vessel near Kombo 4 Fishing Port, Cameroon....
