Impatience in Marriages
Many marriages end for no serious reasons. No adultery on the part of the man or the wife. You can only wonder what went wrong.
The answer? Impatience.
One of the most serious reasons why many marriages don't last is impatience, especially on the part of women, not just in marriages but also in relationships.
When he first met her, he was kind, responsible, and attentive, splashing a lot of cash on her. This was one of the obvious reasons she accepted him, though she had her rules in place. Yes, he passed the test.
In marriage, everything continued in this manner. He gave her all the attention she needed and provided for the home, paying the bills for the kids and splashing a lot of money on her for her personal desires, still buying her expensive gifts.
Years down the line, she became suspicious of him, noticing a slowdown in how he provided for her personal stuff, like hair, jewelry, and clothing. But did she ask him why the change? No!
Instead, she informed family, friends, and neighbors how her husband was fast becoming a beast and a bad boy, no longer caring about her personal needs.
Hatred towards him started to breed, turning to resentment and finally punishment. She deprived him of his rights and access to her body, becoming bitter like the nagging woman the Bible warns against, not knowing the man was making big moves that would take the family to the next level.
Perhaps he was investing in a new venture, buying assets, and building for a brighter tomorrow, wanting to get things looking impressive before revealing his plans.
Noticing the changes in her behavior, he approached her to know what the matter was but she said "nothing.
Instincts they say don't lie so he began ponder and ask himself, "Was it all about what I had to offer from the onset?"
This was a man who had deprived himself of many experiences while single to love his wife and be a responsible husband to her. Now she makes him look like a fool for trying to do what was right.
At a point he began to lose interest in his wife, who was once his everything. Finally, she packed up and left the marriage, moving on with the mindset that she could always find someone better.
"I'm too beautiful to suffer. I'm still young and sexy, and I need nothing else but only the best" She asserted.
Days apart grew into weeks, weeks into months, and months into years, goofing and living a life of infidelity with all sorts of men.
The moment she saw the rainbows of the husband she rejected, who did nothing wrong but tried to better their lives, she resumed condemning him.
Maybe he treated me like a slave to push me away, paving the way for the one he truly loves, forgetting she shut the door against a good man.
Sometimes women like this go about stalking every lady that comes around their ex's and try to fall out with them.
Lack of patience is the only reason why many relationships that would have evolved into beautiful marriages today are extinct and can never be. Impatience is a big player in delayed marriages. Some ladies and impatience are inseparable, and they need to learn.
Ladies, learn to be patient with the man who loves you, especially the one who walked with you down the aisle. Be wise before it's too late. This isn't saying all men are innocent, but some situations need more of your understanding than trying to prove a point as a woman.
