The WASH Media Network (Cross River State Chapter) proudly invites you to join us in commemorating World Water Day 2026 through a dynamic two-day Radio Town Hall Meeting. Aligned with the global theme "Water and Gender – Where Water Flows, Equality Grows", this event shines a spotlight on how access to safe water and sanitation is not just a resource issue, it's a powerful driver of gender equality.
Over two inspiring days, tune in to engaging discussions with distinguished guests who are at the forefront of water governance and advocacy in Cross River State. On Day One (Saturday, 21st March 2026) at SPARKLING 92.3 FM from 10:00am to 10:45am, interact with Hon Bassey Mensah (Commissioner for Water Resources) and Hon Oko Sunday Ebeku (General Manager, RUWATSSSA). Then, on Day Two (Sunday, 22nd March 2026) at HIT 95.9 FM from 8:00pm to 8:30pm, join Barr Lawrence Achuta (Legal Adviser, Cross River State House of Assembly) and Mr Anthony Kedang (Coordinator, NEWSAN Cross River Chapter) as we explore transformative policies and community actions. Call in, share your thoughts, and be part of the conversation!
This is more than an event - it's a call to action for equality, empowerment, and equitable water access in Cross River State and beyond. Dial in, participate, and help ensure that where water flows, equality truly grows. Let's amplify women's leadership in water solutions and advance SDG 6 and SDG 5 together! Tune in and make your voice heard.
