Many people say sewing is difficult.
I don’t complain not because it’s easy, but because I understand it.

Sewing feels hard when you’re still guessing, afraid of mistakes, and copying methods you don’t fully understand.
It becomes simple when your hands are trained, your eyes see ahead, and your mind works with principles not panic.
If sewing feels difficult for you right now, it doesn’t mean you’re failing.
It means you’re still learning.
One day, it will become calm.
And when it does, you’ll wonder why you ever struggled.

It’s not a bad thing if you wear butt or hip pads.
If it helps your clothes look well defined and structured, then it’s doing its job.
Especially as a fashion designer when you’re marketing your brand, you are the model.
You wear eyelashes to enhance your look and nobody complains.
So why shame body pads that help display garment fit properly?
Fashion is about presentation, illusion, and structure not pretending everything is natural.
What matters is:
✔️ The design
✔️ The fit
✔️ The finishing
Not how the shape was achieved.

Why Tailor Ironing Is a Skill on Its Own
Pressing is what transforms fabric into a garment.
A tailor doesn’t just “iron” they shape, mold, and set structure into the cloth.
1. Pressing controls the final fit
It shapes bust curves, sharpens darts, smooths seams, and defines edges.
2. It requires heat knowledge
Every fabric reacts differently too much heat burns, too little heat gives no result.
3. It’s part of tailoring engineering
Pressing builds structure: lapels, hems, waistbands, corsets, bustiers.
