Here’s a clear list of ways exceptional performance is recognized in the Boys’ Brigade:

1. Awards & Badges – Best Boy Award, President’s Badge, Queen’s Badge, Efficiency/Service badges.

2. Promotions – Advancement in rank (Lance Corporal, Corporal, Sergeant, Staff Sergeant, etc.).

3. Certificates & Trophies – For best conduct, best drill, best section, competitions, and annual events.

4. Public Recognition – Announcements during parade, church services, or annual company meetings.

5. Special Opportunities – Selection for camps, leadership training, exchange programs, or representing the Company at higher events.

Classification of membership
The BBN shall be classified into sections as follows:
a. Anchor Boys 3-6 years;
b. Junior Section Boys 7-11 years;
c. Company Section Boys 12-14 years;
d. the Senior Section Boys 15-18 years;
e. Officers from 19years and above;
f. Patrons; and
g. Chaplains.
