📍Now, while it's true that stress can have all sorts of negative effects on the body, including things like high blood pressure, headaches, and insomnia, the jury is still out on whether or not it actually causes gray hair.

📌stress can contribute to premature graying of hair. The exact mechanism behind this is not yet fully understood, but it is thought to be related to stress hormones disrupting the normal functioning of melanocytes, the specialized cells that produce melanin, the pigment that gives hair its color. This disruption can lead to a decrease in melanin production, causing the hair to turn gray or white prematurely.
