CDP Official Notice: Recitation of the *Litany of St. Mary Magdalene* is compulsory for all on July 22nd, being the *Feast of St. Mary Magdalene*. This should be done 3 times immediately after the Litany of Angels during the Lord's chaplet at 4pm.
The Litany of St. Mary Magdalen

For Private Use Only.

Lord, have mercy on us,

Christ, have mercy on us.

Lord, have mercy on us. Christ, hear us,

Christ, graciously hear us.

Holy Mary, Mother of God,

Pray for us.

St. Mary Magdalen,

Pray for us.

Sister of Martha and Lazarus, etc.

Thou who didst enter the Pharisee's house to anoint the feet of Jesus,

Who didst wash His feet with thy tears,

Who didst dry them with thy hair,

Who didst cover them with kisses,

Who wast vindicated by Jesus before the proud Pharisee,

Who from Jesus received the pardon of thy sins,

Who before darkness wast restored to light,

Mirror of penance,

Disciple of Our Lord,

Wounded with the love of Christ,

Most dear to the Heart of Jesus,

Constant woman,

Last at the Cross of Jesus, first at His tomb,

Thou who wast the first to see Jesus risen,

Whose forehead was sanctified by the touch of thy risen Master,

Apostle of apostles,

Who didst choose the "better part,"

Who lived for many years in solitude being miraculously fed,

Who wast visited by Angels seven times a day,

Sweet advocate of sinners,

Spouse of the King of Glory,

V. Saint Mary Magdalen, earnestly intercede for us with thy Divine Master,

R. That we may share thy happiness in Heaven.

Let Us Pray.

May the glorious merits of blessed Mary Magdalen, we beseech Thee, O Lord,

make our offerings acceptable to Thee, for Thine only-begotten Son vouchsafed

graciously to accept the humble service she rendered. We ask this through Him

Who liveth and reigneth with Thee and the Holy Ghost, God forever and ever. R. Amen.

May the prayers of blessed Mary Magdalen help us, O Lord, for it was in answer to them

that Thou didst call her brother Lazarus, four days after death, back from the grave to life,

Who livest and reignest with the Father and the Holy Ghost, Unity in Trinity,

world without end. R. Amen.

Saint Benedict! A mentor of Divine Project. July 11th.ST. BENEDICT*

_(Founder of the Benedictine Order)_

Benedict was born at Norcia in 480 AD, about four years before the fall of Western Roman Empire.

Benedict went to Rome to study literature and law, but was disgusted by the lifestyle around during Rome’s difficult political situation. Hence at the age of 16 he retired to Affile with a group of priests

At Affile, St. Benedict worked his first miracle, restoring to perfect condition an earthenware wheat sifter which his man-servant had accidentally broken. The news spreads around like wild fire & brought crowds of people.

Benedict then move away & took shelter in a cave near Subiaco, where he began to live as a hermit & his only contact with the outside world was with a monk called Romanus, whose monastery was nearby.

Three solitary years followed. Some shepherds befriended Benedict & became his first disciples & the Benedictine Order was born

After resisting a strong temptation against chastity, Benedict prepared to live through a new experience, following the example of the ancient Fathers of Christian Monasticism. At first, the community of Vicovaro wanted him as its Abbot, but the failed attempt of a monk to poison him forced Benedict to return to his solitude.

Afterwards, he founded 12 monasteries and a thirteenth monastery for novices and those needing education. Benedict’s fame spread so rapidly, even in Rome, that two illustrious men, Equizius and the nobleman Tertullus, entrusted him with their two sons, Maurus and Placidus. They were to become the first two gems of the Benedictine Order.

St. Benedict performed countless miracles.
He found water on a desolate mountaintop to quench the thirst of his monks.
He retrieved a bill hook’s iron from the bottom of a lake and rejoined its handle.
He prevented a monk from leading a dissolute life through intervention.
He made a monk Maurus walk on water to save the younger brother Placidus from drowning. Unfortunately, a priest called Florentius was envious of Benedict’s popularity which forced the Saint to depart.

After leaving Subiaco, Benedict went towards Cassino. In the years between 525 and 529 AD, & founded the Abbey of Montecassino. Which became the most famous abbey in continental Europe.

Under Benedict’s direction, the old acropolis-sanctuary towering above the declined Roman municipium of Casinum was turned into a monastery & on the remains of the pagan altar of Apollo he built a chapel dedicated to St. John the Baptist, while the temple of Apollo itself was turned into an oratory for the monks which was dedicated to St. Martin of Tours.

At Montecassino St. Benedict performed many miracles. He brought back from death a boy.
He miraculously supplied the monastery with flour and oil in its time of need and displayed the gift of prophecy & devoted himself to evangelizing the local population who practiced pagan worship

In 542 AD, while the Goth King Totila was passing through Cassino to attack Naples, he decided to test St. Benedict because he had already heard of his gifts and charisms. As a consequence, Totila sent his squire dressed as a king to greet the monk; but St. Benedict soon unmasked him.

When he finally met Totila, he warned him with a dire prediction: _“You have hurt many and you continue to do it, now stop behaving badly! You will enter Rome, you will cross the vast sea, you will reign for nine years; however in the tenth year, you will die.”_ And that is exactly what happened.

St. Benedict cried bitterly when confronted with the vision of the first destruction of his monastery. Notwithstanding, he received from God the grace to save all the monks.

St. Benedict died on 21 March, 547 AD. He foresaw his coming death, after taking his last Holy Communion, he died supported by his monks.

Few days before he died, he had seen the soul of his twin sister St. Scholastica rising to heaven.

Today is world forgiveness day. Letters focus on global Events and purpose of this day.
World Forgiveness Day is observed on July 7th. It's a global initiative promoting forgiveness, healing, and reconciliation. The day encourages reflection on the importance of forgiveness in personal relationships, communities, and globally.

The concept revolves around letting go of negative emotions, promoting empathy, and fostering a culture of understanding and peace. While specific origins might vary, the underlying theme remains consistent: forgiveness as a path to healing and harmony.
Global Forgiveness Day originated in the 1990s, specifically in 1994, when the Christian Embassy of Christ's Ambassadors (CECA) in Vancouver, Canada, founded it as National Forgiveness Day. Over time, the initiative gained international recognition and was later renamed Global Forgiveness Day. July 7th was chosen as the date for this observance, which aims to promote forgiveness, healing, and reconciliation worldwide ¹ ².

The CECA's goal was to inspire individuals to reflect on their personal relationships and promote healing through forgiveness. This initiative has since been adopted globally, with various organizations and communities engaging in activities that foster a culture of forgiveness and peace ¹. Popes speak regularly on forgiveness!
Pope Francis has delivered several statements on forgiveness, emphasizing its importance in Christian life. Here are some key points ¹ ² ³:
- *Forgiveness as a Fundamental Condition*: Pope Francis believes that forgiveness is a fundamental condition for Christians, and it's essential to forgive others to receive God's forgiveness. He cites Matthew 18:21-35, where Jesus teaches Peter to forgive his brother seventy-seven times.
- *Letting Go of Resentment*: The Pope encourages Christians to let go of resentment and grudges, which can make a "nest in our heart" and lead to bitterness. Forgiveness, on the other hand, opens our heart to God's mercy and pardon.
- *Forgiving Like God Forgives*: Pope Francis emphasizes that forgiveness should be unconditional, just like God's forgiveness. He encourages people to forgive "from the heart," even if it's challenging, and to imitate God's gratuitous forgiveness.
- *Healing Power of Forgiveness*: The Pope highlights the healing power of forgiveness, which can purify the air "polluted by hatred" and heal "many diseases of the heart that contaminate society".
- *Call to Forgive*: Pope Francis invites people to reflect on those who have hurt them and ask God for the strength to forgive. He believes that forgiveness can restore peace to our hearts and bring us closer to God.

In addition to Pope Francis, other popes have also emphasized the importance of forgiveness. For instance, Pope Leo XIV recently stated that unity in the Church "is nourished by forgiveness and mutual trust" ⁴.
Calling on United Nations! Here are some suggestions for the United Nations on promoting forgiveness:

1. *Promote Interfaith Dialogue*: Encourage dialogue among different faiths to foster understanding and forgiveness.
2. *Conflict Resolution Programs*: Develop programs that teach forgiveness and reconciliation in conflict zones.
3. *Education and Awareness*: Integrate forgiveness and empathy into educational curricula worldwide.
4. *Support Trauma Healing*: Provide resources for trauma healing and counseling to help individuals forgive and heal.
5. *Global Forgiveness Initiatives*: Launch initiatives that promote forgiveness, such as international days of forgiveness or forgiveness-themed campaigns.
6. *Community Engagement*: Engage local communities in forgiveness-promoting activities, such as community service, dialogue, and reconciliation efforts.
7. *Research and Documentation*: Conduct research on the impact of forgiveness on conflict resolution and peacebuilding.
8. *Leadership Example*: Encourage world leaders to model forgiveness and reconciliation in their own actions and policies.

By promoting forgiveness, the UN can help build more peaceful and harmonious relationships among nations and communities. What about Warren Nations? Here are some suggestions for nations on World Forgiveness Day:

General Suggestions
1. *Diplomatic Dialogue*: Encourage diplomatic efforts to resolve conflicts peacefully.
2. *Empathy and Understanding*: Foster empathy and understanding between nations and cultures.
3. *Conflict Resolution*: Promote conflict resolution through dialogue, compromise, and mutual understanding.

By embracing forgiveness, nations can work towards a more peaceful and harmonious world. conflicts peacefully.
2. * safety.
4.What does the Canon law and the catechism of the Catholic Church say on forgiveness?
The Catholic Church emphasizes forgiveness as a fundamental aspect of Christian life, rooted in scripture and tradition. Here's what the Canon Law and Catechism say about forgiveness:

*Key Points on Forgiveness*

- *God's Forgiveness*: Only God forgives sins, but Jesus gives this power to men to exercise in his name. Through the Sacrament of Penance, God grants pardon and peace to the penitent.
- *Sacrament of Penance*: This sacrament imparts forgiveness, reconciliation with God and the Church, remission of eternal punishment, and remission of temporal punishment. It also brings peace and serenity of conscience and spiritual consolation.
- *Confession*: Confession to a priest is essential for forgiveness, especially for mortal sins. The priest acts as a servant of God's forgiveness, not the master.
- *Requirements for Forgiveness*: For forgiveness, one must have contrition, confess sins to a priest, and have the intention to make reparation. Contrition can be perfect (from love of God) or imperfect (from fear of punishment).
- *Penance and Satisfaction*: The priest imposes penance to help the penitent satisfy God for temporal punishment due to sin. This can include prayer, fasting, almsgiving, and other works of mercy.

*Types of Penance and Satisfaction*

- *Prayer*: Helps to purify the soul and make amends for sin.
- *Fasting*: A form of self-denial and penance.
- *Almsgiving*: Showing love and compassion to those in need.
- *Works of Mercy*: Spiritual and corporal works, such as visiting the sick, feeding the hungry, and comforting the sorrowful.

*Importance of Forgiveness*

- *Imitating Christ*: Christians are called to forgive others as Christ forgave, even under painful circumstances.
- *Personal Liberation*: Forgiveness brings emotional healing and a renewed sense of joy.
- *Communal Reconciliation*: Forgiveness fosters reconciliation and community, strengthening bonds among individuals, families, and congregations ¹.

07/07/2025

*SHALOM*

*NIGHT DOSE*

*🔥 THE DEVIL IS WORKING OVERTIME - WHY ARE YOU STILL IDLE?*

Let’s not sugarcoat It, *The harvest is ready — but where are the laborers?*
Jesus said it Himself in *(Luke 10:2) “The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few.”*

Now let me ask you directly, *Why are you not among the laborers?*

You scroll TikTok for hours, binge-watch series, and argue online about football or fashion trends… But when was the last time you shared Jesus with someone? When did you last invite someone to Mass, pray for someone at work, or tell your child about the faith?

*🔥 This Is Not the Priest’s Job, It’s Yours*

We love hiding behind clerical collars, “That’s Father’s job.” “That’s for the nuns.” “That’s for full-time ministers.”

But go back to *(Ephesians 4:11-12) “He gave apostles, prophets… to equip the saints for the work of ministry.”

*You are the saint.* *You are the worker.* The priest’s job is not to do all the work. His job is to *train you to work!*

God didn’t save you to sit and sip holy water, He saved you to serve, to speak, and to bring souls back to Him.

*⏳ The Devil Is Not Waiting, So Why Are You?*

Let me shock you. *(Revelation 12:12) says, “The devil has come down… because he knows that his time is short.”*

The enemy is in a hurry, recruiting your children through cartoons, your spouse through social media, your friends through culture. *And you? Still saying, “Maybe I’ll start preaching next year.”*

There’s no next year.

*⚔️ Rise. Speak. Preach. Today.*

You don’t need a microphone or a stadium. You don’t need to be ordained or invited. Just open your mouth.

*“God has given us the ministry of reconciliation” (2 Corinthians 5:18).*

It’s your ministry now. That means when your child is asking spiritual questions, speak up. When your colleague is broken, step in. When the world is drowning in filth *don’t stay silent.*

*✨Be the Laborer God Is Looking For*

You’ve gone to enough retreats. You’ve attended enough conferences. You’ve been fed, now it’s time to feed others.

*The question today is not “Where is the harvest?”* The question is, *Will God find you in the field working, or asleep in the pews?*

🕊️ *Lord, make me a worker in your harvest. The world is bleeding, and I will not keep quiet. Use my voice, my hands, my time. I will preach, pray, and proclaim, until You return.*

*🛐 Here I Am, Lord — Send Me into the Harvest*

Heavenly Father,*
You spoke once, and I have heard it twice, That the harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few. Today, I stop making excuses. Today, I answer, *“Here I am, Lord, send me.”*

Too long have I waited for others to speak, Too long have I silenced Your Spirit within me, Hiding behind titles, ordinations, and the fear of men. But You didn’t save me just to sit, You saved me to serve.

So Father, ignite in me a holy urgency. Let me not sleep while the devil works overtime. Let me not remain quiet while souls around me perish. Make me bold in my family, bold in my friendships, Bold in my school, workplace, and online presence.

Teach me that the pulpit is not only in church, But also in conversations, in compassion, and in my daily witness. Break my heart for what breaks Yours, And set my feet running into the field.

Equip me with Your Word, Anoint my lips with truth and love, And give me the courage to speak even when it’s inconvenient.

Let me not bury the gospel in fear. Let me not delay while hell advances. You are calling for laborers, And I say today, from the depths of my being, *“Use me, Lord. I will go.”* Through Christ our Lord, Amen.

*WHY IS THE AMBO ELEVATED?*

*THE ANSWER WILL SHOCK YOU*

Catholics Online Class
___________
It’s not just a platform.

It’s not a podium.

It’s not a microphone stand.

The Ambo, the place from which the Word of God is proclaimed, is a mountain carved into the sanctuary.

A sacred pulpit raised,
Not to elevate the preacher,
But to honor the Word.

*⛰️ 1. BECAUSE THE WORD DESCENDS FROM ON HIGH*

In the Bible, God speaks from the mountain.

On Mount Sinai, He gave the Law.

On Mount Tabor, He revealed His glory.

On the Mount of Beatitudes, Jesus gave the Sermon that changed the world.

God speaks from above, and His people listen from below.

So too, in the Church: the Ambo is elevated not for style, but for symbolism.

The people don’t rise to meet the Word.

The Word comes down to meet them.

*📜 2. BECAUSE THE WORD IS NOT MERE WORDS*

At the Ambo, we don’t hear poetry.

We don’t hear history.

We don’t hear opinion.

We hear the voice of the Living God.

“When the Scriptures are read in the Church,
it is Christ Himself who speaks.”
(Sacrosanctum Concilium, 7)

That’s why we stand during the Gospel.

That’s why candles often flank the Ambo.

That’s why incense rises from its side.

Because when the Word is proclaimed, Heaven speaks again.

*📚 3. BECAUSE IT FOLLOWS A HOLY PATTERN*

The Ambo didn’t come from nowhere.

It’s rooted in Nehemiah 8, where Ezra the priest stood on a high wooden platform to read the Law to the people.

And what did they do?

“All the people stood up.”
“They listened attentively.”
“They wept.”

The Word pierced their hearts.

That’s what the Ambo is for.

Not for performance.

For conversion.

*🕊️ 4. BECAUSE THE LITURGY HAS TWO ALTARS*

We often speak of one altar, the altar of Sacrifice, where the Eucharist is offered.

But the Church teaches there is also an altar of the Word, and that’s the Ambo.

“The Church has always venerated the Scriptures
just as she venerates the Body of Christ.”
(Dei Verbum, 21)

One feeds the mind.
The other feeds the soul.
Together, they form the banquet of salvation.

The Ambo is not furniture.

It’s a sacred table,
set with eternal bread.

*🌍 5. BECAUSE THE WORLD NEEDS TO HEAR*

When the Word is proclaimed from the Ambo, it doesn’t stop at the sanctuary.

It echoes through hearts.
It travels through time.
It stretches into eternity.

From the lips of lectors, deacons, and priests,
It becomes the voice of the Shepherd.

“My sheep hear My voice…” (John 10:27)

Even in a small village chapel with no microphone…

When the Word is read at Mass,
all of Heaven listens.

SO,

Next time you see the Ambo…

Don’t just see wood or stone.

See Sinai.
See Tabor.
See the hill where Jesus stood and said:

“Blessed are the poor in spirit…”

Don’t just hear a lector.

Hear the Word made flesh, speaking again.

Because in the Catholic faith…

Even the pulpit preaches.

And the One who speaks from it…

Is still the Word of God.

God bless you 🙏

*🪟 WHY DO WE USE STAINED GLASS WINDOWS IN CHURCHES?*

_______________
They don’t just decorate cathedrals.

They illuminate souls.

They are not just windows…

They are portals of wonder.
Light caught in prayer.
Heaven captured in color.

They do not shout.

They sing, in silence.

And what they say… is breathtaking.

Let’s step into the mystery behind the glass.

*📖 1. THEY WERE THE FIRST PROJECTORS OF THE GOSPEL*

Long before projectors and PowerPoint…

Long before printing presses and pamphlets…

There was light and glass.

And when sunlight passed through stained glass windows, the illiterate poor saw what only monks could read.

They didn’t need Latin.

They saw Christ born of Mary.
They saw Peter with the keys.
They saw Stephen crowned in blood.
They saw Heaven.
And wept.

Stained glass became the first classroom of the Church.

A school of saints taught not with words, but with light.

*🔥 2. BORN IN FIRE, LIKE THE SAINTS*

Every pane of stained glass is refined by flame.

It is broken. Heated. Beaten. Fused.
And in that violence, something holy emerges.

Isn’t that the story of the saints?

They were tested in fire.
Cut by suffering.
Melted by grace.
And what did the world see?

Color. Light. Beauty.

Stained glass is a parable of the Christian life:

> “We are afflicted in every way, but not crushed…
always carrying in the body the death of Jesus…”
(2 Cor 4:8–10)

Yes, even the broken can shine, when God passes through them.

*🕯️ 3. THEY DO WHAT THE EUCHARIST DOES*

The Eucharist takes ordinary bread and wine…

And transforms them into glory.

Stained glass takes ordinary light…

And floods it with majesty.

The window becomes a sacramental veil:

What was natural becomes supernatural.
What was plain becomes radiant.
What was invisible becomes visible.

You can't see the sun.

But through stained glass,
you see what the sun can do.

And through the Church…
you see what Christ can do.

*✨ 4. THEY TRANSCEND TIME AND SPACE*

When the sunlight filters through the rose window at just the right moment…

You’re no longer in the 21st century.

You’re standing in eternity.

You’re in the realm of angels and prophets,
cathedrals and choirs,
where the veil is thin,
and Earth tastes like Heaven.

You didn’t just enter a church…

The church entered you.

And in that light, you remember who you are.

*👣 5. THEY ARE MIRRORS OF YOUR CALLING*

Look closely…

You’ll see holy women, and weary men.
You’ll see kings and beggars.
You’ll see martyrs, mothers, mystics, and monks.

You’ll see your story.

You’ll see your calling.

You’ll hear the whisper:

> “You, too, are meant to be light.
You, too, were made to shine.”
Because stained glass teaches what Jesus said:

> “You are the light of the world.” (Mt 5:14)

And the Church?

She is the great cathedral, catching every beam of grace,
and turning it into a symphony of color.

SO,

The next time you sit in church and sunlight pours through the stained glass…

Don’t just glance.

Gaze.

You’re not just looking at art.

You’re looking at truth in color,
grace in fragments,
a sermon in silence.

Because in the Catholic faith…

Even the windows preach.

And in the right light…

So do you.

God bless you 🙏
