Nollywood Actress Moyo Lawal Breaks Silence Over Her Leaked S*x Tape

A private video of mine from a while ago has been inappropriately shared without my consent, violating my privacy and trust.

I want to emphasize that this video done with my ex I was to marry as at that time was never intended for public consumption, and its unauthorized distribution is a breach of my personal boundaries.

However this criminal breach of privacy will definitely be treated with legal action.
It really hits me funny because I have always maintained a strict approach to my sexuality, even going as far as being celibate for a few years, refusing to date often and choosing to be alone most times.

However, I am determined to not let this unfortunate incident break my spirit.
I appreciate the support and understanding of those who have reached out to me during this challenging time.

Please know that your kindness and goodwill means the world to me ❤️🙏🏽

PRESS STATEMENT

JUSTICE MARY ODILI’S ADVICE AT THE COLLOQUIUM TO MARK
CHIEF JOE K. GADZAMA’S 25TH ANNIVERSARY AS A Senior Advocate of Nigeria IS TO ALL
NIGERIANS AND NOT TO ANY POLITICAL PARTY OR PERSON.

Our attention has been drawn to the unfortunate skewed social media interpretation inflicted upon the innocuous speech made by Hon. Justice Mary Odili CFR, retired Justice of the Supreme Court, during the colloquium organized in Abuja on Friday 1st September, 2023 to mark the 25th anniversary of Chief Joe Kyari Gadzama as a Senior Advocate of Nigeria. The event was themed: “The Nigeria of our Dreams: A Call to the Patriots”. Since then, some mischievous conflict entrepreneurs have been hosting comments from persons determined to force her speech to fit jaundiced narratives and political nuances. Justice Mary Odili spoke like one “who saw something and said something” without minding whose ox was gored.

In her speech, the learned retired Jurist acknowledged that the 2023 general elections “generated a storm” and advised all those who were not declared victorious in the elections to toe the line of legality and follow the rules of law, in expressing their dissatisfaction through appropriate channels and not "pull down the roof of the nation" because of its far-reaching consequences on every one, including all agitators, regardless of what side of the fence they found themselves. Surely, this is common sense advice.

It is emphasized that there is nothing in the comments that suggested a reference to those who lost in any particular election in any state or region. The 2023 general elections were in four categories: the State Houses of Assembly, Governorship, National Assembly, and Presidential elections. Moreso, the lawyers who attended the events, especially the named ones, were called upon, in their professional capacity, to find solutions to the challenges facing the 2023 elections irrespective of their leaning. Wole Olanipekun SAN is the immediate past Chairman, Body of Benchers who handed over to Justice Mary Odili. Lateef Fagbemi SAN is the Hon. Attorney General and Minister of Justice of Nigeria and the Host J. K. Gadzama SAN is a known lawyer who has done several cases for the PDP. These lawyers are globally acknowledged as strong in litigation. The several other lawyers in attendance are possibly handling various cases for politicians. The unprovoked vituperations are a sad reflection of the reason for the cautionary comments of Justice Mary Odili, and the vain struggle to give it momentum to political gains is unhelpful.

For the records, we have reproduced here the crucial parts of her speech on that day for the avoidance of doubts and for public knowledge.

“This colloquium and book launch in honour of Chief Joe Kyari Gadzama upon the attainment of 25 years as a Senior Advocate of Nigeria is an epochal achievement. It is no doubt appropriate that the theme is 'The Nigeria of our Dreams, A Call to the Patriots'. I say so in the light of the prevailing situation in Nigeria as a result of the 2023 general elections which has generated a lot of storms, necessitating the conversation which we are about to indulge in, as there seems to be moves to throw the nation into chaos or conflagration. This may be brought about by some individuals and groups who, fanning the embers of hatred, bigotry, and tribalism, fail to see the possible outcomes of the utterances without caution that are being thrown around.

It is human to feel cheated or having the short end of the stick by one who is not declared the winner at any of the electoral contests. Such emotion, however grim, does not justify bringing the roof down, the roof of our nation. The reason is simple, that in such an eventuality, that aggrieved person may not be spared, as the commotion that could ensue would be like an unguided missile which could land anywhere and upon anyone.

Therefore, in ventilating our points of view and facts at the electoral tribunals or other courts, a sense of responsibility from all parties is demanded. The situation does not call for the blackmail of the judges or the posting of speculatory hypothesis, giving them such a life of their own which runs riot and is accepted by the hapless and innocent in the society as the truth.

Knowing the quality of participants at this colloquium and I am happy, professionals, those who are well equipped in litigation matters or electoral disputes – Chief Olanipekun is a master, and our Attorney General recently sworn in. These are experts. I am confident that having such persons here including our Chief Host, Chief J.K Gadzama SAN, there is confidence that at the end of the day, a resetting of the mind would be taking place and we would keep things in perspective in the full knowledge that elections are seasonal and litigations relating thereto … and so when the seasons are gone, the courts get back to their natural and regular duties of adjudication regarding the affairs and rights of all persons, irrespective of their status in life.

J.K. Gadzama SAN has called us to this discourse, lest we forget our past, the recent happenings in our country and the need for a restoration of the ethos and the values for which the founding fathers have set in motion as guides to all of us, young and old, irrespective of the positions we occupy in the society. We all have to get our acts together and rebuild our nation”.

The public may now be guided as to the comments now attempted to be twisted.

Regardless of the fact that Hon. Justice Mary Odili (who is a retired Justice and is free to express her views like any other person), the mischievous efforts to apply a wicked twist of bias, championed by the same persons who are bullying the judiciary and threatening to pull down the roof without recourse to due process, fall flat.

Thank you.

APPPOINMENT OF DESMOND AKAWOR TO CHAIR THE RIVERS STATE PALLITAVE SHARING COMMIITTEE MOST CONDEMNABLE, REGRETTABLE

South South Youths Initiative have over time stood for integrity, justice and fair play, knowing that these are the ingredients that will drive the change our people desire from public officers and our representatives in government.

While we are bent on the aforementioned, we have often been heartbroken with the repeated failures of our leaders to adopt the principles of fair play and justice in the dealings in the members of the public.

We are worried that in spite the trust that the Governor Siminialaye Fubara would represent conscience and understanding, he has resumed the political rascality that our politicians are known for.

However, we condemn in totality the appointment of the Chairman of Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, AMB. Desmond Akawor, to chair the Palliative Sharing Committee set up by the State Government to share the N2 billion and th2 16,000 bags of rice released for the poorest of the poor in the state.

From the outline of the federal government, it is clear that the palliative is far way from politics, so we wonder the reason the governor of Rivers State would play around known politicians in the state in the process of making these palliatives available to the right people.

The appointment of Desmond Akawor is not welcomed in the state because it will breach the principle of fair play. Akawor is the chairman of PDP. There is no way he will not bring party into this mandate given to him; there is no way Akawor will perform beyond party affinity.
If he is allowed to carrying on with this responsibility, what will be the fate of those in opposition to his party?

The Local Government chairmen, appointed to take care of the local government sharing are also chieftains of the PDP. How is it possible that they will share this palliative without recourse to party affiliations.

The action of Gov. Fubara casts suspicions that the he (the governor) is only trying to convert the efforts of the federal government to alleviate the suffering of the masses for cheap political settlement for members of his political party, else why would he centered the sharing around leaders of his political party. This palliative was not provided for PDP as a party, so why handing it over to leaders of the party?

We are calling on Governor Fubara to with immediate effect remove Amb. Desmond Akawor as the chairman of the palliative distribution in the state because, the people of the state lack confidence that he can do the job without shutting out those who are to benefit, but are members of other political parties.

We think that Fubara should be the governor of Rivers State and not a PDP representative in that office. If he wants to serve the state then he should not start by bringing those who represent party to handle sensitive public responsibilities like this palliative distribution.

The governor should stop considering politics in his dealings with Rivers people. He is thinking politics before governance and this will be the point of his administration’s failure.

The Leadership of South South Youths Initiative wants to be involved in the distribution of this palliatives. We want to know those that will benefit and those that will not benefit. We want Gov. Fubara to involve interested persons that are willing to be part of the process in order for there to be transparency in the sharing. We want to ensure that the palliatives get to the right persons that need them and that it is not used as a political gift to party members. We cannot be sitting on the fence on this and watch things go the wrong way. We want to be involved to monitor the whole process. The governor should see leadership beyond party and politics. We want to be involved to monitor and observe the process in the different local government areas.

On a plane noted, we don’t see Akawor doing justice to the sharing, except the government wants to use this opportunity to empower PDP members. If this palliative is truly for Rivers people, then somebody that neutral to any political party should have been made to head this committee. Why are reverend fathers, respected clerics not part of this committee. We need clergy men and other stakeholders to be part of this palliative distribution.

The governor would have looked for somebody who would have his integrity to protect and not somebody whose interest will be to protect his political party. On another thought, members of opposition parties could also have been made members of this committee so they could ensure that people of their party got it too, if party must be brought in.

We urge Gov. Fubara to purge himself of this seeming bias by immediately removing Amb. Desmond Akawor as the Chairman of the Palliative Sharing Committee and replacing him with some who is not a card-carrying member of any political party, to ensure that people of the state get this dividend of democracy.

This is not leadership at all, rather, it is politics and we condemn it. We call on Gov. Fubara to remove Akawor as chairman of the committee, then we will have confidence that the palliative will not end up as political party settlement.

Imeabe Saviour Oscar

AN OPEN LETTER TO THE ACTING CHAIRMAN OF THE ECONOMIC AND FINANCIAL CRIMES COMMISSION, EFCC.

Dear Sir,

In a workshop organised in Abuja in 2022, the EFCC stated that between January 1 and August 5, 2022 it succeeded in securing 2,210 conviction of suspects across all its commands in the nation. This performance, according to reports is the highest conviction secured by the agency since its inception, a massive 127.5% increase from the 1280 convictions it has recorded in the past.

These achievements by your agency in the area of conviction of suspects are sterling and most deserving of public acclamation. Its is against this backdrop that I have chosen to open this letter with a note of commendation, particularly because ours is a society where condemnations and criticisms regularly greet the activities of most public and government agencies that their good records and achievements pale and count for nothing in most cases.

Another notable achievement recorded by your agency is its stout commitment towards reducing the menacing crime of advanced fee fraud popularly known as 419 in our local parlance. You have secured arrests, detentions, prosecutions and convictions of suspects involved in advance fee fraud and cyber crimes thereby indirectly reading the riot act to those involved in the crimes as well intending criminals.

However, the scope of your agency's roles and responsibilities go beyond these achievements, thereby giving room for improvement in your activities, especially with respect to Ponzi schemes, Fraudulent investment companies, Money laundering, Proactive investigation and Awarenesses campaigns against financial and economic crimes.

Several Nigerians have fallen victim to Ponzi Schemes and many more continue to fall for these 21st century fraud yet there seem not to be enough effort on the part of anti-graft agencies like the EFCC to curb this growing menace and save innocent and unsuspecting members of the public their many losses.

The near silence and the snail-paced response of your agency and other relevant agencies in arresting the operators of these ponzi schemes have emboldened them to continue to operate by rebranding and presenting a different face just to continue manipulating and deceiving innocent Nigerians who are only trying to make ends meet.

I feel strongly that merely warning the public to desist from such schemes without a corresponding action by relevant government institutions to stamp out the operators of such scheme does not address the issue on ground, it is at best, hypocritical.

In the same vein, your agency needs to step up and beam its surveillance on the number of Fraudulent Investment Companies in Nigeria. Some of these fraudulent companies parade themselves as product producers and vendors or service companies providing legitimate services only to abscond with investors funds after securing their trust.

I invite your Commission to deploy more resources and intelligence in this direction to detect such companies early enough before they defraud members of the public of their hard-earned resources. This, I believe is no rocket science and does not prove too hard for your agency if it is determined to bring this sad situation to an end.

Sir, another crime against society which I consider very critical and would like to use this medium to draw your attention to is the issue of vote buying. It is difficult to effectively separate the effects of vote buying from financial crimes and economic sabotage. While vote buying has the potential of proliferating bad leadership which in turn inadvertently or knowingly provides a thriving ground for financial and economic crimes, it is also a threat to democracy. With Governorship
elections in Bayelsa, Edo and Imo States just by the corner, there is need for your agency to review its modus operandi and deploy strategies that would help it track vote buyers and their accomplices.

One way to achieve this is to partner with private and public establishments as well as individuals with the requisite experience in this area to ensure that vote buying is completely stamped out in the coming Governorship elections or at least reduced to the barest minimum.

I believe one major reason why it appears that the EFCC is selective in its fight against corruption is its lack of proactiveness and rather lackadaisical approach in carrying out investigations especially high profile cases. Adopting a more proactive approach in your operations would help the Commission gain more grounds and advantages in cases it is pursuing instead of being reactionary and engaging from a point of weakness.

To mitigate the growing rate in sundry economic and financial crimes prevalent in the Country, there is need for your agency to seek greater and more extensive collaborations while committing adequate resources towards awareness campaigns, education and orientation.

Drawing from my experience as an Ombudsman, mediator, Peace-builder and Reconciliator,I am certain your agency is yet to fully take advantage of the enormous benefits awareness campaigns offers in terms of controlling the psychology of perpetrators of crime and intending criminals.

A well-planned awareness and orientation campaign against economic crimes and related vices has the potential of stamping out crimes by at least 50% even without additional efforts on the part of the Commission. I use this strategy immensely in my catchment area to educate my people and create awareness about alternative dispute resolution mechanism which is one of my core area of focus. Within a short period, the number of disputes resolved outside court or police intervention soared immensely.

I must not fail to add that even though your agency has recorded successes in prosecution of suspects, reduction of advance fee fraud and cyber crimes as highlighted in the earlier paragraphs of this letter, it is yet to gain the confidence of Nigerians in its fight against financial and economic crimes.

The reason for this may be strongly linked to the fact that the Commission has not been able to successfully prosecute and bring to book many of the high profile cases it has handled. This scenario has helped in laying the foundations for the school of thought that most successes recorded by the EFCC are because those behind such crimes are mostly the middle-class or younger persons who do not have sufficient financial, political and social muscle to navigate their way out of the Commission's net.

This assumption is worrisome and undermines the gains made by the EFCC. Hence, it is expedient that your agency looks into this issue and take necessary steps towards addressing it to save the corporate image of the Commission and win the confidence of the masses.

It is my hope that the successes you have recorded in some areas under your surveillance will spur you to consolidate on your gains while making genuine efforts towards replicating same feat in some of the areas I have painstakingly highlighted in this letter.

I and other patriotic Nigerians particularly those who have special interest in advocacy and the functionality and efficiency of public institutions, look forward to see a more proactive EFCC.

You have the warmest assurances of my esteemed regards.

Yours Sincerely,

Marshall Israel,
Ombudsman, Mediator, Peace-builder and Reconciliator.

OSPAC DESERVES A PAT ON THE BACK INSTEAD OF PERSECUTION

By Igwe Onyeche Wofurum
The Humble Lion

ONELGA Security, Peace Advisory Committee, (OSPAC), a local vigilante group formed in Ogba/Egbema/Ndoni Local Government Area (ONELGA) of Rivers State is an indigenous security outfit. The reason for the alternative security measure using OSPAC security to support the failed conventional security is to combat crime and insecurity in Rivers State which has hypnotize growth and development. OSPAC was created neither to victimise any individual nor for political reasons. Security agencies are aware of its tremendous achievements since inception.

However, various communities changed the name instead of using ONELGA. For instance in Rundele, instead of calling it OSPAC, it is
called RUSPAC. In Egbeda Community, it is called ESPAC. Generally, the security outfit is known as OSPAC in Rivers State because the people of ONELGA pioneered theformation of this indigenous vigilante outfit before spreading to other LGAs and communities in Rivers State.

OSPAC is the best thing that have ever happened to the security architecture of Rivers state. Residents of Omoku, Egbeda, Omudioga, Elele, Ndele, Omerelu, Etche, Ogoni, etc and those plying East-West and PH-Owerri roads will attest to this fact. In these areas, kidnapping, armed robbery, cultism, killing & beheading takes place every week. Several lives and property worth millions of naira were lost before OSPAC came to change the narrative.

It is now a clarion call on Traditional Rulers, Local Government Chairmen, the Governor of Rivers State, Rivers State House of Assembly as well as the Rivers State Police Command to mobilise OSPAC for a greater result. The Local Government Chairmen that banned OSPAC should consider the negative effects of their action. They should look at the rising wave of insecurity in their LGAs because of the absence of OSPAC, as human lives are more important than their ego and selfish interests. Rivers State Police Command should also stop arresting and molesting members of OSPAC, they deserve a pat on the back for jobs well done instead of persecuting them.

However, this security outfit just like other security agencies, have bad eggs in their midst. There should be constant orientation and training to educate them on the legal aspects of their jobs. The baby should not be thrown away with the bath water.

PRESS STATEMENT ISSUED ON BEHALF OF HON. JUSTICE (MRS) MARY PETER-ODILI REFUTING A PUBLICATION MADE BY ONE JACKSON UDE IN THE SOCIAL MEDIA TITLED “MARY ODILI WORKING FOR TINUBU WITH THE PEPT.

Our attention has been drawn to a publication circulating in the social media against the person of the retired Justice Mary Ukaego Peter-Odili, wherein the author, one Jackson Ude, falsely and maliciously alleged inter alia, that the revered jurist is “currently negotiating a pathway for Bola Tinubu” and that “she meets regularly with Appeal and Supreme courts” in that regard.

CLIMBING THE HILL: A MAN AND HIS DESTINY. KELECHI NWOGU AT THE NATIONAL ASSEMBLY.

When he was elected in 2011 to represent Omuma Local Government Area at the Rivers State House of Assembly, some people didn't know that a leader has emerged. But for him, it was an opportunity to demonstrate competence and capacity. It was a fascinating time to demonstrate his love, patriotism and commitment to Omuma people and Rivers State at large.

Those who thought that he was going to fail and succumb to lethargy started selling dummies to people. But it didn't whittle his sense nor affected his political growth. And like the legendary Achiles of ancient Greece, he took the system by storm, bulldozing his way into the heart of his people especially the younger generation and stamping his foot in the political archipelago of Rivers State.

Because of his commitment, legacy and achievement, Omuma people elected him again in 2015 and 2019 respectively to represent them at the Rivers State House Assembly....making him a third term State law maker. For him, it was a call for more service and work for his people and like a gold fish that has no hiding place, HON KELECHI NWOGU demonstrated the highest level of quality representation in consonance with the aged-long axiom that says to "WHOM MUCH IS GIVEN, MUCH IS EXPECTED".

Thus, it wasn't a surprise to many when he was nominated to contest and represent Etche/Omuma people at the National Assembly. Suffix to say that out of 32 Members of Rivers State House of Assembly, Kelechi Nwogu was the only one chosen by the system to contest for House of Representatives.

During the campaigns, Hon Kelechi Nwogu
campaigned vigorously and intentionally across the Wards and communities in Etche and Omuma Local Government Areas. At Obibi/Akwukabi ward in Etche LGA, he asked if he has ever taken anything that belongs to Etche LGA, represented Etche nor diverted any project of Etche LGA to Omuma LGA, and people unanimously answered with a resounding no.

He passionately and deliberately appealed to the people of Etche to vote for him and assured them of his unflinching commitment and patriotism to the ETCHE PROJECT.

When his campaign train landed at NIHI WARD in Etche, he promised to donate a transfomer to them to boost electricity. He assured them to hold him accountable if he fails to deliver his promise after election victory. Others would have waited to be sworn-into office before fulfilling the promises they made but not Hon. Kelechi Nwogu. The then National Assembly Member-elect hit the ground running by fulfilling the promises he made to various wards in Etche and Omuma Local Government Areas. He subsequently donated a brand new transformer to NIHI WARD.

While we believe that its too early to judge, its important to note that the smell of fart is a determinant of the taste of 's**t'. Three months after inauguration as Member Representing Etche and Omuma at the National Assembly, Kelechi Nwogu has proven that he didn't go to Abuja to joke.

First, he moved a motion to halt the Central Bank of Nigeria's directives requesting Nigerians to submit their social media handles to banks for verification. According to Hon. Kelechi Nwogu, the directive is draconian and in conflict with the 1999 constitution as amended.

Secondly, he presented a petition from Mr Fidelis Omorie on the gruesome murder of his two years old son Evans Omorie and his injured second son Eremosele Omorie by a trigger happy officer of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency NDLEA in Delta State and called for proper investigation of the ugly incident.

Thirdly, he was appointed as Chairman House Adhoc Committee on gross mismanagement of fund and loopsided placement of Directors by Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA).

Last but not the least, he was appointed Deputy House Committee Chairman on Agricultural Production and Services. The committee establishes federal agricultural policy and provides funding to support agricultural research and development in Nigeria.

The House committee on agriculture considers bills and issues and oversee agencies, programs, and activities within agricultural sector in Nigeria. The House Committee on Agriculture has general jurisdiction over federal agriculture policy and oversight of some federal agencies, and it can recommend funding appropriations for various governmental agencies, programs, and activities, as defined by House rules.

As Etche people, we commend Hon. Kelechi Nwogu for standing tall at National Assembly even as a first timer. This shows that with time, people will begin to see and appreciate the meaning of quality representation.

Ohamadike is not competing with anybody. He is intentionally intentional and highly motivated to delivering his mandate to Etche people. He will collaborate with other leaders and patriotic young people in Etche and Omuma to ensuring that he sets Etche at a pedestal for Political growth and economic development.
