The Man - Nasir El-rufai:

The man whose petition was read against at the National Assembly which led the Senate to withhold his confirmation as minister because the petition was said to be insecurity related during his time as governor has till date not been invited for questioning by the DSS or any other security agency in Nigeria.

There have been several reports of bandits and terrorists arrested in recent times, yet none of them has mentioned his name as their sponsor.

Recently, this same man appeared on Channels (a national TV - Sunday Politics with Seun Okinbaloye), accusing the federal government of paying kidnappers to release victims, condemning their approach to fight insecurity. My expectation was that the government would demand evidence from him, but unfortunately, they only warned him to stop mentioning their names.

This is the same man who has repeatedly declared publicly that he never stole Kaduna State government money throughout his tenure in office, and to date, I have not seen any evidence from his successor who is not even on good terms with him to counter his claims.



This is a reality of the situation in Nigeria. Who do we blame for this now? Govt or El-Rufai 🤷

MAINTAINING THE CURRENT STATUSQUO OF LOW SMEs IN KOGI STATE IS NOT HEALTHY.

The recent announcement of the Job Application Portal Closures by the Nigeria Service Boards of the Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration has revealed a clear message about the state of affairs in Kogi State with respect to the level unemployment.

If figures/data made available in the public domain is anything to go by, it shows that the people of Kogi State origin topped the chart of those seeking employment into these boards/parastatals in the just concluded job application exercise.

According to the report, the number of applicants from Kogi State are 116,124 representing 6.08% of the total applicants of 1,910,539 from across the 36 States of the federation and the FCT.

Your Excellency Sir, the Executive Governor of Kogi State, what this indicates is simple - we need more jobs to be created in the state. However, in as much as I strongly believe that the state cannot provide all the needed jobs alone, the State's role is monumental - to lead by example, call on/mobilize all other kogites with the financial wellwithal who are busy investing in other places to make Kogi State their first priority, and create an enabling environment for investors to come in. But remember, NO OUTSIDE INVESTOR WILL COME to invest in Kogi State if WE (indigenous people of Kogi State) are RUNNING AWAY from investing in the state. This is the gospel truth. I commend your efforts so far in trying to lure and bring investors to the state, but, please, we need to do more, and take the lead ourselves.

All around the world, SMEs are the ones that drives the economy of nations. We lack SMEs in Kogi State. Going by the abundant market, mineral resources and fertile/arable land that abounds in the state, I strongly believe that we can do more. Again, what this data also showed is that over one hundred and sixteen thousand of the state's active population is idle or not meaningfully engaged. This is not palatable at all.

How did we get here as a People/Nation?

This is a question that everyone of sane mind should be asking on a daily basis in Nigeria, because waking up each day to find out things are still not only as it were in the early Independence, but a step or two backward, is becoming TRAUMATIZING.

It is Evident Now that Nigeria has no problem at all. I have said this before.

Is just that most of our leaders have been programmed or conditioned by some VESTED INTERESTS & UNSEEN POWERS to be chasing ILLUSIONS and make it ATTRACTIVE rather than PROMOTING REAL LIFE PRIORITIES/ACTIONS that will bring about technological advancement and emancipation of Nigeria and her people.

There are certain things/actions that will not just add up when analyzed with a sane mind, yet those are the ones that our leaders will be promoting. The reason, to me, is a systemic plot aimed at cynically diverting the attention of people from things that are meaningful, things that have the tendency to usher in the required positive change that will liberate this country.

The report stated that the suspects are not with genuine travel document.

The earlier we KNOW, the BETTER.

On the face of history and till the end of time, there are challenges that has befallen man and that will continue to befall man. However, these challenges are to be solved by man for the world to be a better place. He that knows this and hold it to be true has known peace.

Conversely, the mindset of most men especially those from this part of the world has been coated with opaque materials and dirts to the extend that they are not seeing that all challenges and problems are to be solved by man. Such people continue to believe and hope for divine intervention, not knowing that the divine gifts available to man is the fact that the eyes of manhas been opened to see the challenges in the first place, and now left for them to advance the cause of solving it.

My fellow brothers and sisters, God will NOT come down to SOLVE our problems for us. We have to fix our problems ourselves.
