Take: Asibitoci Marasa Lasisi Sun Yawaita a Kaduna – Rahoto

Kaduna, Najeriya – Wani tsohon jami’in da ya taɓa shiga aikin tantance asibitoci a fadin jihar Kaduna ya bayyana cewa akwai yawaitar asibitoci da cibiyoyin lafiya marasa lasisi da ke aiki ba bisa ƙa’ida ba a fadin jihar.

A cewar sa, a shekarar 2011/2012, sun sami cikakken jerin sunayen asibitocin masu zaman kansu da ke aiki a gundumomi 255 na kananan hukumomi 23 a jihar. Sai dai yayin da s**a fita domin tabbatar da ingancin wannan jerin sunaye, sun gano cewa jerin da gwamnati ke da shi bai kai kashi 15 cikin 100 na adadin ainihin cibiyoyin lafiya da ke aiki ba.

“Yawancin asibitocin da muka gani suna aiki ba tare da lasisi ko ƙwararrun ma’aikata ba,” in ji shi.

A cewar sa, abin da ya fi ba su mamaki shi ne abin da ya faru a wani ƙauye da ke cikin karamar hukumar Birnin Gwari, inda s**a gano wani asibiti da wasu maza biyu daga Kudu maso Gabas ke gudanarwa.

“Da muka isa wurin, ɗaya daga cikinsu ya gudu, muka k**a ɗaya. Abin mamaki, mutumin bai iya magana da Turanci yadda ya k**ata ba, kuma bai san sunan allurar da yake riƙe da ita ba. Daga baya muka gano cewa bai taɓa halartar makaranta ba,” in ji shi.

Rahoton ya nuna cewa irin wannan yawaitar asibitoci marasa lasisi na faruwa ne sak**akon raguwar ingancin asibitocin gwamnati, raunin hukumomin da ke sa ido, da kuma rashin tsarin daidaito a harkar lafiya a jihar.

Headline: Illegal Clinics Flourish Amid Collapse of Public Healthcare in Kaduna State

Kaduna, Nigeria — A former field officer who participated in a statewide health facility verification exercise has revealed alarming details about the widespread operation of unlicensed clinics across Kaduna State.

According to the source, a comprehensive list of private clinics obtained in 2011/2012 covered all 255 wards across the 23 Local Government Areas. However, during physical inspection and verification, the team discovered that the official record represented only about 15% of the actual number of hospitals, laboratories, clinics, and maternity homes operating in the state.

Many of these facilities, the source said, were running without valid licenses or qualified personnel. One shocking incident occurred in a remote village in Birnin Gwari Local Government Area, where inspectors discovered a so-called clinic managed by two men from the South East.

“When our team arrived, one of them fled while the other was caught,” the source recounted. “To our disbelief, the man could not speak proper English or even name the injection he was holding. We later found out he had never attended any formal school.”

Experts say the proliferation of such illegal and dangerous clinics reflects a deeper crisis in the state’s health sector — marked by collapsed public healthcare infrastructure, weak regulatory enforcement, and lack of standardisation in the system.

Woman Takes Uber to Panti to Report the Sun for Excessive Heat

In a bizarre incident, a woman reportedly took an Uber from Lekki to the Panti Police Station in Lagos to file a complaint against the sun, claiming the weather was “too hot.” The fare for the trip was ₦15,000, which she allegedly refused to pay.

A police officer eventually settled the fare and sent her home, but she later returned to the station, insisting she wanted to rent an apartment inside the police premises.

Tinubu’s cronyism, on the other hand, is alarming. He isn’t even pursuing a broader Southernization agenda to balance the post-Buhari years; instead, his focus is narrowly fixed on the South-West, making his actions a clear Yorubanization agenda. Even worse, within the South-West, his bias leans heavily toward Lagos — his brand of nepotism defies description.

That’s why those from other southern zones joining the South-West to chant ‘turn of the South’ in 2027 are being utterly short-sighted and gullible. They don’t even realize who their real political adversaries are."
