Bishop Oyedepo uses a brilliant architectural analogy that perfectly explains how spiritual and financial promotion works:
"When you cast concrete, you wait before you cast the next floor. So, you don't crash. Don't stay at the same floor. Let God mark you right for the next level."
If you have ever watched a multi-story building being constructed, you know that builders don’t pour the concrete for the first floor and immediately start pouring the second floor the next day. If they did, the weight of the new wet concrete would crush the wet pillars beneath it. The entire structure would suffer a catastrophic collapse.
Instead, they wait. They wait for the concrete to cure, dry, and harden until it transforms from a soft mixture into solid, unshakeable stone. Only when that level is certified strong enough to bear more weight do they begin the next floor.
Your life is no different. Sudden wealth or massive responsibility on top of an unformed character is a recipe for a catastrophic crash. God loves you too much to give you a blessing that will destroy you. The waiting season is your curing season.
