THE TRUTH ABOUT EZE'S NUMEROUS ATTACKS ON ALEX OTTI - REVEALED.

I never wanted to reveal this but the unwarranted incessant campaign of calumny by my friend, Eze Chikamnayo, against the person and government of Gov. Otti has made it imperative that certain uncomfortable truth and events are exposed in the Abia marketplace for Abians to understand the undercurrents that propel the ongoing shenanigans.

As i said earlier, Eze Chikamnayo is my friend. We have shared platforms together in the past. He lobbied me severally pleading that Dr. Alex Otti, as then was, concede the LP ticket for Umunneoche Constituency to him. This he did while serving the Government of my elder brother, Gov. Ikpeazu, as a Commissioner.

To fly the flag of Labor Party as a House of Assembly Candidate, he was ready to throw in the towel as Gov. Ikpeazu's Commissioner as a last minute joker aimed at startling and ruffling the Ikpeazu Government.

Truth be told, I was ecstatic for two reasons:

1. I was eager to help a friend.

2. I was head over in love with anything and anyone that would help in dismantling the mysterious hegemon that Ikpeazu's Government has metamorphosed to.

After several meetings with Chikamnayo most of which held at Olive Hotel, Azikwe Rd, Umuahia, which bothered on making assurances double sure, I proceeded to Dr. Alex Otti. This particular meeting held in one of Dr. Alex Otti's palatial sitting rooms in his residential heaven.

Thinking that I have secured a jinx-breaking deal that would add value to Dr. Alex Otti in Umunneoche, I placed my cards before him.

Dr. Otti sat back.

He crossed his legs.

He pushed his head backwards and sheepishly rolled his eyes.

That wasn't a good sign. From my own meteoric knowledge of Gov. Otti, whenever he takes such a posture, all his critical reasoning antennas are proactively activated.

He was silent for what looked like eternity, but the silence lasted for a few minutes in reality.

Suddenly...

"Manja, thank you for your passion in this project of reclaiming Abia State as evident in your your efforts such as this.

However, there is something that doesn't sit well with me in this deal you want to broker.

With a character as Chikamnayo, what are we going to tell Abians that we will do differently from what this decadent system is presently doing?

Boy, birds of identical plumage flock together. I want to be a Governor but not for the same reason why vultures like your friend want to join us. I am into this not for my next meal or vainglory. I want to serve. I want to change the narrative. I want to raise the bar of governance. It is not all about me.

Therefore, I am not desperate. As such, I can't stain my public image by identifying with a character like Chikamnayo just to be a Governor".

Dr. Otti started answering calls. I knew that the meeting was over. I knew that Chikamnayo's attempt to join us as a candidate was finally buried as far Dr. Otti remained the candidate and leader of Labor Party in Abia State.

When certain campaigns of calumny are being perpetrated against the person and government of Gov. Otti, it behoves on the elite to educate our people to understand that it is not out of the baker's kindness that we get bread.

GOV. OTTI SWEARS IN TWO NEW COMMISSIONERS, CARRIES OUT MINOR CABINET RESHUFFLE.

Abia State Governor, His Excellency, Dr. Alex Otti, OFR has performed the swearing-in ceremony of the two newly appointed Commissioners and a Special Adviser and carried out a minor cabinet reshuffle.

The newly appointed Commissioners and their portfolios are; Dr. Mrs. Salome Nkemakolam Obiukwu - Trade and Commerce, Architect Chiemela Charles Uzoije, Ministry of Housing and Prince Christian Enweremadu, who serves as Special Adviser on Agriculture, while Mr. Chaka Chukwumerije is now the Commissioner for Lands and Mr. Kingsley Nwokocha redeployed to the Ministry of Labour and Productivity.

BREAKING! ‎GOV. OTTI TO RELOCATE THE MINISTRY OF AGRICULTURE TO UMUDIKE.

‎Abia State Governor, Dr. Alex Otti, OFR, says that the Abia State Ministry of Agriculture would be relocated to a more conducive environment for greater productivity.
‎
‎Governor Otti disclosed this on the 23rd of September when he paid an unscheduled visit to the Ministry's headquarters at Bank Road Umuahia, the State Capital shortly after swearing in two new commissioners and a Special Adviser on Agriculture, in a minor cabinet tweak.
‎
‎On arrival at the Premises, the Governor was conducted round the Premises by the Commissioner for Lands, Hon. Chaka Chukwumerije and the Commissioner for Agriculture, Dr. Cliff Agbaeze as he inspected some of the buildings there.
‎
‎As a man of quality and taste, Dr. Otti was not satisfied with what he saw. He told the workers there that they would be moved to a place more conducive so that they can be productive enough to produce what can feed Abia and Nigeria at large.

‎Governor Otti hinted that they would be relocated to Umudike where the Abia State University faculty of Agriculture is currently situated as the State has concluded plans to relocate them and the faculty of Law from Umuahia back to Uturu the permanent site of Abia State University.

‎The Governor directed the commissioner for Agriculture to go and assess the place.

‎The staff of the ministry received the news of the relocation with great joy and excitement as they could not hide their joy of seeing the Governor within their office Premises.

Governor Fubara Lands in Govt House, Reassures Rivers People Of Continued Service

Governor Siminalayi Fubara on Friday arrived at Government House, Port Harcourt, to a thunderous welcome by Rivers residents, reaffirming the strong bond between his administration and the people.

Speaking to journalists after inspecting sections of Government House with his wife, Lady Valerie Fubara, the governor described the reception as humbling and a sign of renewed confidence in his leadership.

“I know everyone wants to hear something from me. In fact, you expected it when I landed from the aircraft,” Governor Fubara said. “I am really humbled by what I saw at the airport. I was briefed with pictures too on what happened here yesterday. Your reception really humbled me, because it shows love, confidence, and solidarity.”

Governor Fubara assured that his administration would continue to work for the interest of Rivers people, pledging never to take their trust for granted.

“It is not just the celebration or the massive reception, by the number of people who came out to show solidarity, but a reaffirmation of the bond between this government and the people that we are serving,” he added. “By the grace of God, we will continue to do those things that made you love us. I want to appreciate everyone and to say that we love you.”

GOV. ALEX OTTI RECEIVES ABIA BORN INTERNATIONAL FOOTBALLER, KENNETH OMERUO, ASSURES HIM OF COLLABORATION.

The Executive Governor of Abia State, His Excellency, Dr. Alex Chioma Otti, OFR, today, September 16th, received in his office, an Abia-born - Nigerian International Football player and the captain of the Super Eagles, Kenneth Omeruo, OON, MON, alongside his friend, the General Manager of the Rangers Football Club of Enugu, Amobi Ezeaku Esq. who paid him a courtesy and working visit.

Gov. Otti thanked Kenneth Omeruo for acknowledging the modest achievements of his administration and assured him of the readiness of the Government to collaborate with him to drive his talent hunt initiative as Abia youths are so talented and endowed in sports, academics, commerce, entrepreneurship, and innovation. He directed the Government team to sit down with Kenneth Omeruo and work out the details.

Earlier in his short address, Kenneth Omeruo informed Governor Otti that he had come to appreciate him for restoring the dignity of Abians. He told the Governor that he is so proud to be from Abia and has been using his social media handles to share and repost the good news from Abia, thanking him for bringing his professional touch to Abia. Mr. Omeruo used the opportunity to intimate Governor Otti of his desire to give back to society through a talent hunt initiative he wants to launch in Abia State to identify young talented footballers who can be mentored and assisted to get into major clubs, especially in Europe and requested collaboration with the State.

In his vote of thanks, the General Manager of Rangers Football Club of Enugu, Bar. Amobi Ezeaku expressed his joy and excitement about the current quality of leadership with professional backgrounds in most South-East States, saying that he is so proud of the exploits of the Governors.

The meeting was attended by the Chief Strategy Officer, Mr. Chinenye Mba Uzoukwu, the Technical Assistant to the Governor, Mr. Charles Egonye and the Special Assistant to the Governor on Youth, Comrade Onyebuchi Chukwu.

GOV. OTTI GRANTS AUTOMATIC EMPLOYMENT TO NINE EX-CORP MEMBERS.

Abia State Governor, Dr. Alex Otti, OFR, has granted automatic employment to 9 Ex-Corps members of Abia origin, who recently received Presidential NYSC honour awards.

Governor Otti granted the automatic employment while receiving in his office, the 9 Ex-Corps members led by the NYSC State Coordinator, Barr. Gladys Adama.

He directed the State Head of Service to issue them appointment letters with immediate effect.

"On behalf of the State Government, you are going to leave here with a token. But beyond the token, I hereby temporarily lift the embargo on employment to employ the nine of you, except if any of you is not interested.

"So, having lifted that embargo and having employed all of you, I also close the embargo.

"Honourable Attorney General, please communicate to the Head of Service that the nine of them should be given automatic employment. No interviews. They have already passed the interviews.

"So, what you need to do is go and do your documentation and then you can start work on Monday," Gov. Otti stated.

Governor Otti, who appreciated them for their outstanding performance during their service year which earned them the Presidential Honour, charged them to continue to be outstanding in everything they do. He equally thanked the NYSC State Coordinator for the great work she is doing and for bringing outstanding Ex-Corp members to him.

Responding on behalf of the Ex-Corp members that were offered automatic employment, Mr. Nwogu Chinomso from Obingwa LGA, thanked Governor Otti for the recognition and appointment given to them. He promised that they would serve the State with dedication.

"I want to sincerely express our heartfelt gratitude to you, Your Excellency, for the recognition and encouragement you have given to us"

"Also, let me use this opportunity to commend your good work in the State. Your Excellency, you are a true leader. You are the Joshua of our time. Our prayer is that the Almighty God will continue to give you the wisdom to pilot the affairs of this State in Jesus name. Amen, " he declared.

Earlier while presenting the Ex-Corp members, the NYSC State Coordinator, Barr. Gladys Adama said that the Nine Ex-Corp members made the State proud during their service year and were decorated by the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria on the 29th of July this year.

"I have come with these persons who have done Abia proud. Out of about a hundred and something, Your Excellency, Abia came first with nine of these champions.

"They excelled themselves in their various places of primary assignment. As you have been told, Your Excellency, none of them served in Abia State. In fact, only one of them served in the east while others served in far away North.

The Ex-Corp members who were granted automatic employment include;

ABA BUSINESS COMMUNITY RAISES FUNDS FOR SECURITY TRUST FUND, AS GOV. OTTI ANNOUNCES COMMISSIONING OF PORT HARCOURT ROAD BY PRESIDENT TINUBU.

Members of the Aba business community have raised millions of Naira to support Governor Alex Otti's Security Trust Fund in the State.

Addressing the business community at the Aba Stakeholders Security Trust Fundraising Launcheon held on Thursday, September 11th at the Aba Sports Club, Governor Otti said that his government recognises security as the bedrock of development.

The Governor who used the forum to thank friends, Abians, and the Aba business community in particular for their support for the new Abia project, promised that he will not take the support for granted as every donation will be accounted for.

Governor Otti announced that the newly reconstructed Port Harcourt road Aba would be commissioned on the 3rd day of October alongside six other roads by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in Aba.

The State Chief Executive also announced that the Government has signed all necessary documents with Radisson Blu for the commencement of work at the Enyimba Hotel Aba, noting that work would soon take off at the project site.

‎The 5394 newly recruited teachers by the Abia State Government will resume work on the 22nd of September when schools in the State resume.

‎Governor Alex C. Otti , OFR, disclosed this on Sunday, 14th September during a church service at Salvation Ministries,135 Okigwe Road Aba, where he had gone to worship unannounced.

‎Gov. Otti commended the people of Aba for appreciating the Government's efforts in the construction of roads and the provision of other social amenities. He announced that someone magnanimously donated the sum of two hundred million to the Government because the Government built a decades-long collapsed road connecting his area to other places.

‎Governor Otti encouraged the people to go and register in the ongoing continuous voters registration exercise, saying that if you fail to vote or shy away from voting in an election, you have voted for the wrong person.
‎
‎From the Church service, Governor Otti headed to Ovom street undergoing reconstruction after gully erosion destroyed the road, cutting off the people living in the area, leading to the collapse of buildings and loss of livelihood before the State Government's intervention.
‎
‎The Governor expressed satisfaction at the level of work done and assured the crowd that trooped out to greet him with solidarity songs that the work would be completed before the end of the year.
