Even though, the former deputy governor didn't speak much, yet the little he voiced out is very instructional. What we should know is that when a wife says her husband is a criminal, you either accept it or regret ignoring it.
Olaniyan by all indication has told us that Seyi Makinde is not trustworthy and we just have to accept that as far politics is concerned and be guided in our choice of voting as recommended for the next general elections, especially the governorship race.
In like manner, Seyi Makinde has dragged his former deputy, Engr. Olaniyan to the Economic and Financial Crime Commission, EFCC as a criminal, we equally have the right to wait on the EFCC to know the truth.
Pending the final judgement of a competent court of jurisdiction, Olaniyan remains a free man.
Those of us that were directly involved in the 2019 political marriage of the engineers can conveniently see where their calculations went wrong.
Edmund Obilo was able to purge the outgoing governor and reveal of him the diabolical mindset that made him believes that it was wrong for Olaniyan to get prayer warriors to pray for him on political success.
If only the governor could look straight into the eyes of those he called his informants on the reported marabout, we would have all know those who actually planned the governor's successful though pitiable downfall.
It will be difficult for anyone both politicians and non-politicians alike to ever believe Seyi Makinde again for anything that has future fulfilments.
Which sector has Seyi Makinde not disappointed? From Bostwana maize merchants, to 2,100 per exercise book contract inflation and contrast splitting, to destruction of bridges and failure to repair even when he came on radio through his engineers in charge who promised prompt return to work.
What else can anybody expect Seyi Makinde to do right.
We asked you to vote for him in 2019, we have now knew him far better and I can boldly advice you to look before you leap.
Seyi Makinde is a political failure and he is not ashamed of it.
Avoid him like a plague he is!
