Banga soup is a traditional Nigerian soup originating from the Delta State, particularly the Urhobo and Isoko people. It's made with palm fruit extract (banga) and often served with starch and other swallows.

Banga Soup Ingredients:
- Palm fruit extract (banga)
- Goat meat, beef, dry fish and stock fish (use protein of choice)
- Seasonings (salt, pepper, crayfish and banga spice)

Banga Soup Preparation:
* Boil palm fruits to extract the juice(I used already processed banga extract🤭)
* Simmer the banga extract until it thickens.
* Add cooked meat, fish and crayfish.
* Add banga soup spice, salt to taste, and pepper(adjust pepper level to suit your taste)
* Add vegetable simmer for a few minutes and voila your banga soup is ready.

Starch Preparation:
* Mix your starch with water.
* Add a little palm oil
* Stir and continue to stir until your swallow forms.

Banga soup is a flavorful and nutritious dish that's rich in vitamins and minerals.

Banga soup can also be eaten with fufu, eba, poundo yam and other swallows.
