Q: Why do I wake up tired… even after 8 hours of sleep?

A: Let me guess:
→ You didn’t stay up late working.
→ You weren’t up all night crying.
→ You weren’t even mekwe-ing.

But you still woke up feeling like a trailer jammed you, right?

Here’s the harsh truth:
→ It’s NOT the sleep hours.
→ It’s NOT your pillow.
→ It’s NOT your mattress.

Q: So what’s the problem?

A: It’s the food you ate last night.

→ You ate heavy.
→ You ate late.
→ You went to bed with your belly looking like a loaded cooler.

Q: But I thought food makes me sleep?

A: No love. While you were snoring, your body was busy:
→ Digesting all that food.
→ Liver working overtime.
→ Pancreas running night shift.
→ Insulin staying sky-high.

Instead of repairing, your body was digesting.
Instead of healing, it was processing.

Q: And that’s why I wake up bloated and tired?

A: Exactly. That’s why:
→ You’re dragging yourself out of bed.
→ You’re craving sugar by 10am.
→ You’re bloated and cranky in the morning.

It’s the food.
It’s the timing.
It’s the overload.

Q: What’s the solution?

A: Simple:
→ Stop eating heavy at night.
→ Close the kitchen early.
→ Give your body time to finish its work before bedtime.

Q: But what if I sleep early and still feel tired?

A: Sleeping early can’t fix it if you’re sleeping on a full stomach.
You’re not waking up tired because you “slept wrong.”
You’re waking up tired because you ate wrong.

P.S. The later you eat, the earlier your energy dies the next day.

I’m racking my brain trying to help you enjoy your meals. But let’s be honest…

You are being overly emotional about food.
You’re comparing yourself to your forefathers —
people who farmed, walked, hunted, fetched, lifted, labored,
people who ate natural, whole, living foods,
people who moved their bodies all day.

Meanwhile…
YOU?
You sit six hours straight at work.
You drive even to the corner store.
You barely clock 1,000 steps a day.
Your biggest movement is from chair to fridge.

But somehow, you think you can eat like them —
heavy, rich, dense traditional meals —
and come out unscathed.

Go ahead.
No hard feelings.
But when your blood sugar crashes,
when your gut rebels,
when the weight piles on,
when your joints ache,
don’t cry and say:
“But this is what our ancestors ate…”

You are NOT your ancestors.
Their life moved their body.
Yours doesn’t.

Eat smart. Move smart.
Or stay stuck. Your call.

Your child deserves sunlight.
Freedom.
Joy.
The healing power of outdoor play.

But freedom without protection can be dangerous.

Because sometimes what’s disturbing your child…
Isn’t “just growing up.”
It’s worms.

Yes, worms.

If your child is:
—Grinding their teeth at night
—Scratching their bum constantly
—Bedwetting again after being trained
—Always tired or cranky
—Struggling to speak
—Restless at night
—Showing strange behavior…

You need to stop assuming it’s “normal.”
It might be parasites — worms living rent-free in their gut.

And they didn’t just get there by magic.

They came through:
—Dirty hands
—Unwashed fruit
—Sachet water
—And yes — walking barefoot on contaminated soil

Here’s the harsh truth:
Most Nigerian children are exposed to worms before age 5.
And while routine deworming is good, it’s not enough.

Because if your child is still eating junk, drinking bad water, or lacking gut protection…
The worms will come back. Again and again.

And each time, they steal more:
—Iron
—Zinc
—Vitamin A
—Growth
—Sleep
—Brain power

So no, your child isn’t just being difficult.
They may be hosting something that’s draining them from the inside.

Let them play outside. But protect their gut.
Because a sick gut creates a sick child.
