The former Director General of NAFDAC, Dr Paul B. Orhii, OON, will be in Sheffield to cheer his son Russel Orhii. This Ushongo son is competing as one of the elite powerlifters at this prestigious event.

Details of the event, as shared by Dr Orhii, states, “The Sheffield Powerlifting Championships hosts 24 of the world's strongest powerlifters to battle it out for the title of champion of champions. 12 men and 12 women will form an all-star roster for an action-packed night of heavy squats, bench presses and deadlifts, aiming to put together the biggest total weight across those three lifts. Who can break the world record total by the greatest margin?”

The event will take place on Sunday, 26 January 2025, at Sheffield City Hall Oval Hall, Pinstone St, Sheffield City Centre, Sheffield S1 2HH, United Kingdom.

No components have been implemented by the Federal Government to date, ensuring these strategically lobbied initiatives are primed for maximum impact when rollout commences.

The Enone Servant has tirelessly championed these allocations through relentless legislative advocacy, securing funding for critical infrastructure tailored to the constituency’s priorities—spanning road networks, healthcare upgrades, educational facilities, and agricultural empowerment hubs. This groundwork guarantees that, upon federal activation, the projects will deliver widespread benefits, fostering economic growth and improved livelihoods for Enone’s resilient populace.

Robust monitoring mechanisms are already in place, with multi-tiered implementation committees comprising local stakeholders, technical specialists, and oversight teams to enforce strict accountability and transparency. This framework will track every phase, minimizing risks and maximizing public value.

The Deputy Spokesperson of the House of Representatives, Philip Agbese, has assured Nigerians that the federal government will prudently utilise recently approved loans.

Speaking to journalists at the National Assembly, Agbese described President Bola Ahmed Tinubu as a “meticulous economic planner” and expressed confidence that every borrowing plan will be directed toward its intended purpose.

*Okanga's Banner of Love flies high in Ogbadibo LGA once again as hundreds of rural women receive cash gifts and wrappers.*

Ogbadibo LGA of Benue State witnessed yet another phase of rural inclusion in the leadership benefits and engagement from the Enone Chief Servant, Hon Dr Philip Agbese Philip, the Member representing Ado, Ogbadibo, Okpokwu Federal Constituency at the House of Representatives. The August event which took place on 13th August, 2025, in Otukpa at Ai-Oono Ward 3 was a moment of joy, distribution of Wrappers & cash to the rural women of Ai-Oono council ward under the auspices of *Okanga's Sisters Worldwide*

Delivering the over 300 sets of wrapper with Two Hundred & Fifty Thousand Naira (N250,000=00) to the women, Hon Mrs Mary Clement who is the President of Okanga's Sisters in the Ward, thanked the women for believing in Hon Chief Dr Philip Agbese and for standing by him all these while. She assured the women that the Honourable Member will continue to reach out to the rural dwellers even as he continues to execute more infrastructural projects within the Constituency.

Hon Mrs Mary highlighted some of the projects executed by the Honourable Member so far which include construction of school for special needs in Igumale, several motorized BoreHoles in Agila, classroom blocks in Akpoge Ogbilolo & in Ojigo Ward, Edwin Ogbu Healthcare Center in Utonkon, Maternity Clinic in Effekwo Otukpa, Solar Street Lights in Owukpa, Orokam, Igumale etc, among several other empowerment programmes like Poultry farm & ICT training, distribution of tricycles and motorcycles to some rural dwellers etcetera.

The Okanga's sisters' president, Mrs Mary, urged the women to intensify their effort in ensuring total and landslide victory for Okanga's re-election in 2027. She said 4+4 for Okanga is the watchword and everything member of Hon Philip Agbese's political family should carry on that mantra to the nooks and crannies of the Constituency.

In reaction, the women voiced out in unism saying, "he who knows us is the one we know". "Okanga has is always in touch with us, he never disappointed us and we will never disappoint him", they said.

This is the mood in Ogbadibo LGA and all over the Constituency at the moment.

Leadership is about the people, the interest of the people must be paramount.
