ᴛʜᴇ ᴘᴇʀꜱᴏɴ ᴏꜰ ʜᴀɴɴᴀʜ

Hannah knows how to answer politely or not at all.
With her remarks, Hannah displayed unrivaled restraint. She was aware of not only what to say but also when to be quiet. Hannah's infertility was mocked for years by Peninnah, Elkanah's other wife. She didn't speak back to her captor though, choosing to remain silent.

Hannah had had enough of the jeers while on one of the family's yearly journeys to the tabernacle. She didn't lash out at Peninnah, but she was aware that action was required. She got up from the table and prayed to God immediately. Eli accusing her of being intoxicated put her moral character to the test. And Hannah once more showed grace and humility in her speech.

Do not think less of your servant because I have always spoken from a place of extreme annoyance and concern (1 Samuel 1:16). She acknowledged Eli's authority by referring to herself as his servant.
She could have mouthed back at him, but she opted to show him the correct deference.

Eli the priest repeatedly prayed to God to grant Hannah a child.
Eli's heart melted when Hannah told him about herself. He continued by assuring her that God will indeed grant her request for a son. But, it was only the first time Eli had prayed to God on Hannah's behalf.

Focus Focus Focus !!!

What you focus on, creates more focus. If you're focusing on stress, you're tuning into stress. If you're focusing on scarcity, you're tuning into scarcity.

By focusing on what you don't want, you create what you don't want.
Let's use the example of self-love. You're feeling down on yourself, your weight is over what you'd be happy with, you're feeling unhealthy and begin to distance yourself from social situations.

Instead of tuning into the self-love station, you wake up each day and turn on the anti-self-love station.
You're comparing yourself to people on social media.
You're ordering uber eats instead of cooking healthy meals.
You're binge-watching reality shows.
You're not doing anything to change your reality.

I want you to ask yourself what channel you're tuning into? How is it supporting what you don't want?
How about, instead of scrolling through Instagram looking at how to get the perfect body, you use that time to work out?
Instead of ordering takeaway, you experiment with home-cooking that will give your body more energy.
Instead of binge-watching reality shows, you start hanging out with the people that lift you up, enjoy your own reality!

There are two ways in which you get to live your life. You can either live with a victim mindset, "The world is happening TO me," or you can live with a Champion's mindset, "The world is happening FOR me.

Life is all about what you focus on. You get to create a life you love by focusing on what you want and bringing intention into that every single day through your actions.

It's time to tune into a different station, and the beauty is that you can start right now!!!

No matter what your intention is for the week I encourage you to think it through, write it down and display it somewhere that you will be reminded of it daily.

Ending the day without celebrating this two important people in my life today would not be nice at all.

First of all, meet the last born of my family a sweet and amazing personality, little kiddo of the family but never little.
Beautiful soul, caring, smart individual, ever young and growing baby.

Happy birthday kiddo Ayomykun Priscilla may the lord bless and increase you, all that your heart desires shall come to fulfilment in Jesus name.
Amen.

And on the other hand is my Father, person wey channel me come this world 🌍

Rush Hour Evening Lesson

While coming back from church on Saturday in preparation for Sunday service, I learnt 3 great lessons from a Keke driver.

For those who don't know the meaning of Keke

It simply means a tricycle, just like a mini cab.

Back what I learnt.

This man was going to university of Ibadan and my house was along the road so I entered, he continued calling for passenger for about 3-5min but no one was going that way.

Three passengers came inother to make the Keke filled up but they were going to bojida, a market very close to university of Ibadan but he will have to take another route to get there, i was happy I was like thank God we can go now thinking the Keke driver will just take them through that route and head back to his destination but to my surprise he turn them down and he drove off with only me inside the Keke.

While moving I said oga why didn't he take those guys that he could easily take that route and head back to UI instead of driving off but he replied saying na university of Ibadan I dey go I know dey branch bodija.

In my mind I was like what's wrong with this man he has three passengers and sharply he could just take them over to the market and head back to his destination.

After he drove some distance away he got three other passangers going his way and they came on board, then 3 lesson dawn on me

1. Because you could not get your goal achieve immediately in the set time you set for yourself does not mean you won't achieve it.
You just have to keep trying, apply wisdom, seek for guidance and use other strategy

2. Don't be distracted by what is happening around you, remain focus

3. Be careful on advice you take from people.
