The Ownership Board of IBIS Group convened its 64th Monthly Virtual Meeting on Friday, 5th September 2025 via the IBIS Digital Hub. The meeting was officially opened by ๐ฉ๐๐ ๐๐ค๐ข๐ฅ๐๐ฃ๐ฎ ๐จ๐๐๐ง๐๐ฉ๐๐ง๐ฎ Abubakar Yusuf SP who presented the agenda before inviting the opening recitation and handing over to the Chairman & Chief Executive Officer.
In his opening remarks, ๐๐ก๐๐ข๐ซ๐ฆ๐๐ง & ๐๐๐ Abdulhadi Ya'u Maikawo appreciated the dedication of all Board Members and emphasized the importance of collective responsibility in driving the companyโs agenda forward.
With strong participation from the members, the meeting deliberated extensively on:
โข Business Operations: Review of activities across subsidiaries including IBIS Sewing Solution Store and ongoing trade initiatives in various divisions.
โข Expansion Plans: Consideration of strategies to pe*****te new markets and broaden IBIS Groupโs presence.
โข Collaborative Engagements: Discussions on strengthening partnerships with external stakeholders to enhance growth and innovation.
The Chief Operating Officer presented the Monthly Operational Report, highlighting key progress and areas of focus for the coming quarter, while the Chief Finance Officer delivered a transparent Financial Update, giving a clear picture of revenues, expenses, and the financial standing as well as the financial needs of the company.
A historic highlight of this session was the ๐ฎ๐ง๐๐ง๐ข๐ฆ๐จ๐ฎ๐ฌ ๐๐๐๐๐ฉ๐ญ๐๐ง๐๐ ๐จ๐ ๐ง๐๐ฐ ๐๐ฉ๐ฉ๐ฅ๐ข๐๐๐ง๐ญ๐ฌ ๐ญ๐จ ๐๐๐๐จ๐ฆ๐ ๐ฌ๐ก๐๐ซ๐๐ก๐จ๐ฅ๐๐๐ซ๐ฌ (๐ฉ๐๐ซ๐ญ-๐จ๐ฐ๐ง๐๐ซ๐ฌ ๐จ๐ ๐๐๐๐ ๐๐ซ๐จ๐ฎ๐ฉ). The Board approved the continuation of their onboarding process, marking an important milestone in the companyโs inclusivity and growth.
Other strategic resolutions were adopted, including strengthening governance structures, sustaining accountability, and reinforcing digital innovation for efficiency and transparency.
The meeting concluded with firm action points to guide the next phase of IBIS Groupโs Master Plan. A motion for adjournment was moved by Sani Sa'ad Bunza and seconded by Muhammad Aliyu. The next Ownership Board Meeting is scheduled for Sunday, 5th October 2025.
