So talking about the tooth implant.

A lot of comments about why do I want to use money that can build a whole house to fix tooth especially when it’s molar, that no one sees. ( I don’t think 11m naira can build a house now)

Sincerely I wish I did not have to do it cos common that’s a lot of money and if insurance does not cover all I will be coughing out plenty dollars out of pocket.

So here is the thing. I had removed one molar back then in school and I had no worries of replacing it cos I could still eat well.

But then during Lily and David’s pregnancy one day, my tooth broke, it was the second molar beside the one I had removed leaving a wide gap.

On getting to the hospital, the doctor said there was no point filling the tooth as it was already weak(Lily and David took all the calcium 😄😄) and it was better I extract it.

After removing it, I was then given the option of implant.

When I heard how much it will cost, I asked the doctor what happens if I decide to leave it as is.

He said, because the gap is wide, the muscles around it will start weakening since there is no teeth to support them.

Also my cheek will eventually start coming down from that side making me look old even before I get old.

And lastly, I can’t even eat using that side, cos no molar to chew with.

That’s why I have to go for the implant.

My husband said maybe I should just go to Mecca and fix gold tooth instead 😄😄😄😄 what do you think??

Or I should travel to Naija to fix it. Not sure how much it will cost in nigeria.
