THE LORD'S CHOSEN GENERAL OVERSEER REAFFIRMS COMMITMENT TO WINNING SOULS FOR CHRIST

General Overseer of The Lord’s Chosen Charismatic Revival Ministry, Pastor Lazarus Muoka, has reaffirmed his commitment and passion for winning souls for Christ as against some people’s belief that he has dabbled into politics. Speaking last Sunday during a two-day International Crusade tilted, God’s “Covenant of Peace and Blessings” which took place at the Revival Ground of the mega-church at Ijesha, Lagos State, Pastor Muoka made it clear that he is not a politician rather, his only business is winning souls for Christ.

The General Overseer stressed that he has no business with politics and that anybody who uses his name for politics is on his own.

He disclosed that at no time did the church insinuate, request, or plead for polling booths to be brought into the church as being speculated, stressing that people who peddle such rumour or allegation are wicked and evil.

He added that he has never sided with any politician or political party, before and will never do such.

"Another one is politics, I have not sided with any political party. They want to create the impression that I am supporting them. I can’t leave the church for political purposes, I can’t. Anywhere you see on social media that say we say, they are thieves, I am here standing for Jesus. You can only come here, we pray for you and we say let the will of the Lord be done.

“I am not in the business of telling you who will win, my business is to prepare you for heaven and ensure you gain heaven at last,” he said.

Muoka also condemned the action of those who use his name to appeal for funds from the public, stating that such actions do not emanate from him.

He maintained that he does not collect money for praying for people while stressing that the church only solicits funds when the church has a project and it is done only in the church therefore stressed that the church does not appeal for funds via social media.

“I don’t collect money for prayer, it’s not from me, we don’t appeal for funds except when we are doing something here for a purpose.

Some people go to social media, place my picture and put account number, they are thieves, they go to the internet, Facebook, WhatsApp asking people for money, such actions do not emanate from me or the church,” he added.

Speaking on the theme of the programme, “God’s Covenant of Peace and Blessings, Muoka said that God is faithful and cannot lie.

On the need to repent and receive the covenant of peace and blessings from God, he said “As you make amendments and turn from your wicked ways God will forgive and heal you. It can never be minus you, everybody will be remembered. Whatever God said, he will fulfill, he has the power; nobody can hinder it.”

The two days service did not go without amazing miracles, deliverance, healing, and Holy Ghost baptism as testimonies of God’s wonderful works ruled the air.

The principal and students of The Lord's Chosen international secondary school Mgbidi Imo State is here to return all the glory to God for using through them to make a name for Himself. The principal recalled on how it started on the 1st of December 2021 when she paid a courtesy visit to the permanent secretary Ministry of Education. She made it known that though the school is private but they are under the state, she requested that they should be added in their scheme of work in activities like Seminars, Conferences, Workshops, Training and Competitions.

The permanent secretary told her that her visit was timely, adding that there is an ongoing project among FG schools in Imo State and she was thinking about one or two private schools to add but now they they are here, Chosen International secondary school will be added. She handed the letter to her, telling her that if they didn't do well their name will be struck out from the list. They returned to school and work started. According to her, they had just 7 days to work in order to meet with the deadline because they received the notification late. But God helping them, they submitted their project work a day before the deadline.

When the results came out, she received a mail that Chosen international secondary school has qualified among the 3 best schools in Imo State to represent the state at the zone level (South East States). At the second round in the zonal level, they received another mail from the Federal ministry of Education that Chosen international secondary Mgbidi Imo State has qualified among the 3 best schools in the South East.

They moved over to the grand finale which involves schools from all the zones nationwide, and Chosen international secondary school Mgbidi Imo State emerged among the 10 best schools in Nigeria. Along the line the top 10 was trimmed down to 6 and Chosen international secondary school still featured among the 6 best school in Nigeria. After that, they received another mail from the federal ministry of Education, that having qualified as the best schools in Nigeria, they will be meeting with their counterparts worldwide. This project is global which is summed up of 126 nations of the world and Chosen international secondary school Mgbidi Imo State was privileged to be among them.

After the project which took place online, she received a mail from the national Cordinator's office which reads 'Congratulations to all the schools, both teachers and students and global scientists for making Nigeria proud again...' Chosen international secondary school Imo State was named among the 6 states that made Nigeria proud, Only God Can Do This.
Praise the Lord!

The principal concluded the testimony by thanking the Lord for His protection upon her life in the course of the competition when they traveled to Nasarawa state, the protective hand of the Lord was upon her and there was no negative report recorded. God gave them victory physically, Spirituality and otherwise, Let the name of the Lord be praised forever in Jesus name.

ANNUAL INTER – HOUSE SPORTS COMPETITION HELD ON 26TH MARCH, 2022.
The 12th (twelfth) edition of the annual Inter House Sports Competition of Chosen International
Secondary School, Mgbidi, Imo State, came up on the 26th March 2022 at the school’s sports
ground within the school premises. Prior to the day, everything pointed to a wonderful and
exciting day. The day, thankfully did not disappoint. It was, indeed, a day to remember. There was a flurry of activities, the seven Houses preparing and decorating their stands and tidying up, adorning their colors which this time around was done in track suit form, a new introduction. Everywhere was agog and expectations were high. There was also some measure of nervousness among the Houses, not knowing which house would carry the day.
The event took off with a short prayer by Pastor Andrew. The Principal, Sister Iheoma Mercy Iwumba, then read a brief address welcoming everyone to the occasion. She also specially welcomed Mrs Mirikwe, the representative of the State Commissioner for Education – Professor Sylvester Okorondu, as well as the Permanent Secretary in the Ministry, Lady Patience Ogechi Ibeagi. She pointed out the various laurels the school had received in the past, such as the Guinness World Record, in the address the Principal advised the students to imbibe sportsmanship in addition to their educational pursuit. In her address, the Distinguished Guest from the Ministry of Education spoke so glowingly about the School and its achievements and pledged to work with the Principal to sustain the existing cordial and mutually beneficial relationship between the two parties. She also presented the GLOBE 2022 International Virtual Science Symposium (IVSS) Research Work to the students.
The occasion was graced by an appreciable number of dignitaries and parents who also came in, in their best. A total of twelve (12) schools both Primary and Secondary participated in the invited schools relay. The whole compound was filled with vehicles and athletes and spectators.
There were march-pasts by the various houses in which each tried to outdo the others in innovation and resourcefulness as they marched in rhythm with the band churning out a melodious song to guide them. There were cheers from the stands in appreciation of those who performed well to the admiration of the spectators - students and non-students alike. The Guest of Honour and the Principal received the salute by the marchers.
Done with the marches now the floor was thrown open for the sports proper. The Houses competed in all the categories and at the end the scores were computed by officials from the Ministry of Sports, Owerri and results announced. It was now time for those who excelled to rejoice and those who did less well to re-strategize. All said and done, it was an event worth looking forward to.

Indeed, the above scripture has continued to prove true in the life of Miss Patience Joseph John who through the grace of God upon her life has not ceased to amaze the judges, fellow athletes and entire spectators during every athletic competition in which she contested.

A student of Chosen International Secondary School, she has continued to exceptionally represent in athletic competitions earning in her portfolio numerous prized medals and championship honour.

CHOSEN INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL MAIDEN INTER-HOUSE SPORT COMPETITION

On Friday, March 25, 2022, several personalities gathered from across the city of Lagos to witness and participate in the maiden edition of the Chosen International School annual Inter-house sports competition.

It was indeed a grand ceremony as the field and tracks were beautifully decorated throwing-up a rich green ambience.
The athletes representing their various school houses walked briskly on to the field looking resolute and determined to obtain the crown.
