Flexible solar pv panels

Flexible solar PV panels are a lightweight and bendable alternative to traditional rigid solar panels. Instead of being built on glass and aluminum frames, they are usually made with thin layers of photovoltaic material (like amorphous silicon, CIGS – Copper Indium Gallium Selenide, or thin monocrystalline silicon) laminated onto flexible substrates such as plastic or metal foil.

Key Features of Flexible Solar Panels:
Lightweight – Much lighter than conventional panels, easy to carry and install.

Bendable/Curved surfaces – Can conform to curved or uneven surfaces (e.g., RV roofs, boats, tents).

Advantages:
