WORST PERFORMING AGENCIES IN THE STATE.

Agencies and parastals in the state need to step up. Rivers State government is not a charity organization and therefore needs revenue to keep the State running.
There are a number of agencies in the state, receiving monthly allocation but have no significant impact on the states revenue.These non performing agencies should be given annual targets to meet. Appraisals should be carried out at intervals to keep Heads of government agencies on their toes.
Also the issue of appointment given out on merit rather than on qualifications should be looked into. We have a number of political appointees in the State, heading Agencies that they have no knowledge of.
Your Excellency Sir Siminalayi Fubara we have identified a number of agencies that need to step up on their revenue generation game, and there is therefore, a need to bring in innovative minds to spear head these agencies, if we are to become a megacity.
Over a period of 4- 5months we carried out performance appraisals and the following Agencies have performed below average.

RIVERS STATE TOURISM DEVELOPMENT AGENCY (RSTDA)
RIVERS STATE SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT AGENCY
RIVERS STATE AGRICULTURAL DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM.
RIVERS STATE MICROFINANCE AGENCY
RIVERS STATE NEWS PAPER AGENCY
GREATER PORTHACOURT CITY DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY

Professor zaccheo Anagor has rejected his redeployment.
your Excellency Sir Siminalayi Fubara this is good news. We strongly believe that the cabinet reshuffling shouldn't stop here, it should continue till, we have people who represent the interest of Rivers people in government.

For a state to thrive, it's Governors and commissioners should be on the same page. We are sincerely hoping that his replacement would bring development to our dear state.

Development of Rivers states Water front communities would help the state grow . Eko Atlantic City in Lagos is built on 25km2. With 30km2 Rivers state could build a new city that could boost the states IGR.
Some Administrative blocks and Offices can be relocated to the new waterfront city to hasten it's development. His Excellency Sir Siminalayi Fubara should have budget for water front development and city creation as top priority.
As a state surrounded with lush green islands, we are missing out on untapped revenue streams.
Employment opportunities from construction, security and transportation in a new city, would pull a lot families out of poverty.
In conclusion Rivers state needs a functional WATER FRONT DEVELOPMENT AGENCY.

I still believe my Governor H.E Sir Siminalayi Fubara would not accept this agreement. An Izon man is fearless and would bow to nobody. Your Excellency we are Izon we are not cowards. The resolution is one sided, accepting the terms would mean, prioritizing the interest of one man over the interest of the Rivers people.

I want to believe the document below is fake until proven otherwise.

TOURISM OUR NEW OIL.

Bali with land mass of 5780km2 Generates $3.2b in tourism revenue.

Rwanda generates $400m in revenue from Tourism annualy.

Meanwhile, Rivers state with a land mass of 10,000km2 generates less than $1m in tourism revenue.

Your Excellency Sir Siminalayi Fubara , Rivers state with its ocean front ,vast islands and rich culture, could generate upto $1bn in Revenue.

Andoni, opobo, okrika, bonny and other Riverine communities have untapped potential.

We need to open up our economy to potential investors and develop key tourist attractions.

Your Excellency , we believe appointments shouldn't be for loyalist alone, but to capable technocats who understand the job and how to get it done.
From 2016 till date, 75% of political appointees in Rivers state Have performed below average.
The tourism sector in Rivers state is dead, commerce is doing very poor as multinational corporations are leaving our dear beloved state and security is also below expectation.

We need you now , declare the 27 seats in the Rivers state house of Assembly vacant. Let The members of the assembly who have defected go to court.

The law states that candidates voted for on a particular parties platform , should vacate their seats when they defect .

Rivers state needs development and not monthly deliberation on how to share the states allocation. You would forever remain in the heart of Rivers people if you take charge and resist the plan of wikes loyalist.

Let the recall process begin. Rivers people should say no to God fatherism. All 27 loyalist can be recalled.

On what grounds was the governor impeached? Abuse of office or financial mis appropriation? The house needs to provide evidence.

- Sim fubaras loyalist should file a case in court challenging the results that produced martins chike Amaewhule as member representing obi akpor constituency

- The state Governor should set up a panel investigating the sacked chief justice on grounds of abuse of office or financial misappropriation.

In 2013, the house of assembly tried to remove the speaker of the house of assembly. Because he objected to the impeachment proceedings against Rotimi amaechi. Fast-forward to today same thing has happened. Rivers state should never encourage Godfatherism. No man apart from the governor should be allowed to control the affairs of the state.
The governor has been quiet for peace to rain, but at this point. Sim fubara has not been able to function in full capacity as governor.
Wike should learn from Tinubu , give the governor a template , but allow him to function.
