An old woman like me dared to step into a space the world said was beyond me. They said it was beyond my years, beyond my strength, beyond my season. Yet here I am. I am deeply grateful to everyone who looked beyond my age and saw the fire still burning within me.
Most especially, I appreciate IBRAHIM CHATTA, who believed in me even when I doubted myself. When I felt like giving up, his words carried me. His encouragement strengthened me, and I will never forget that.
This journey is bigger than mine, but it is never bigger than God. I stand on faith, knowing that the One who gave me this dream will perfect it.
To everyone who called, prayed, supported, and cheered me on I see you. To my fans at home and abroad, my former students, and everyone who believes in my craft, I am overwhelmed with gratitude. Mo dupe, mo mo lore.
On May 1st, 2026, as I stepped into the cinema, I stepped into answered prayers and years of perseverance. I have worked hard, and I am ready to do even more. My dreams are limitless.
Age will never be a barrier to purpose. As long as I am hale and hearty, and creativity flows within me, I will continue to strive for greater heights.
Creating SEGILOLA (The Villain) was not easy. There were challenges, doubts, and overwhelming moments. But with the support of my family by blood and my family without DNA, I stood strong. Some people stand by you without conditions they are my pillars, and I cherish them deeply.
To the cast and crew of Segilola, you are the soul of this project. Your sacrifice and dedication made this vision a reality. May God bless every one of you abundantly.
To my post-production team, thank you for tirelessly shaping this work into something beautiful for the audience. Shooting is one journey; bringing it together perfectly is another. You did it excellently.
Now, let us make noise about Segilola (The Villain). Let the world come and see what we created together. E se gbogbo yin lapapo. Mo dupe gidi gan.
