No matter who we are rich, poor, powerful, ordinary time will eventually silence us all. In 150 years, our names may only exist on old records, faded photographs, or forgotten tombstones. Yet today, so many live as if they're eternal fighting for power, holding grudges, hiding truth.
Why can't we live right and let peace reign?
It's a question that echoes through generations. The constant struggle for dominance, control, and validation leads to division and suffering. What would happen if more people chose peace over pride, truth over deception, and humility over ambition?
Political power will fade.
The rulers of today, the presidents, senators, kings—no matter how influential they seem now, they will all become footnotes in history. Their power is temporary, their legacy uncertain. Some will be remembered with respect, others with regret. But power never outlives mortality.
And what about the pastors, the spiritual leaders?
Those who had platforms but stayed silent in the face of injustice, who chose comfort over conviction, will also pass. Their sermons may be archived, their churches still standing, but their silence will echo louder than their words. Truth is not always easy, but it is eternal.
So what's the lesson?
Live with integrity. Speak truth with courage. Choose peace over ego.
Because when we are gone, only the impact of how we lived will remain.
