The decision to scrap the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) of the Nigeria Police Force following a well-oiled campaign against some of its crime-bursting methods has generated mixed-feelings among Nigerians, reflecting the plurasim of the country. There was pandemonium in Igbo-Eze South Local Government Area of Enugu state as Micheal Ugwuanyi, a 45-year old man smashed the head of his parents with a pestle. Reports shows that his mother, Florence Ugwuanyi was pounding cassava on that Saturday when the suspect snatched the pestle from her and used it to smash her head. Fearing that his father, Julius Ugwuanyi will alert neighbours to his crime, he used the pestle on him too, according to the report of Titus Ugwuoke, the community's chief security advisor.
