Gospel singer Moses Bliss has revealed the story of how he met his wife, Marie, sharing that their relationship started on social media.

The musician told Rev. Kathy Kiuna in an interview that his first encounter with her came after she posted a dance video to one of his songs on Instagram.

Bliss explained that he noticed the video while checking posts from fans that year.

He said he carefully considered the connection and prayed for guidance before taking action.

After seeing her dance video, Moses Bliss decided to send her a direct message and shared his phone number as a way to show his interest.

He described himself as bold in matters of love and said he does not hesitate to reach out if he likes someone.

He also spoke about his wife’s response, appreciating her calm and respectful approach.

She initially preferred to keep their conversations on Instagram, a decision he admired.

He said: “We met on Instagram, and she danced to my song. That year, I was really looking. If anybody tagged me, I’d go and check. As I was checking, I was also consulting the Spirit, asking the Holy Ghost, ‘What are you saying?’ Tag them to your song, you never know! I liked the dance, and to register my interest, I dropped my number. I’m not scared of anybody. If I like you, I’ll message you. I’m very bold. But she respectfully requested we keep the conversation on Instagram.”

Nollywood actress Sarah Martins has raised alarm over an alleged assault by some uniformed men while she was preparing free meals for homeless people on the streets of Lagos.

The actress, who shared her ordeal on Instagram, said she was cooking for the less privileged when the officers believed to be members of the Kick Against Indiscipline (KAI) task force approached her.

According to her, the men harassed and bullied her before seizing her cooking gas, food items, and other materials she was using to make the meals.

She also showed a video of her injured hand, expressing pain over what she described as an unfair attack.

Sarah explained that she was only trying to serve love and kindness through free healthy meals for people in need, saying that cooking for the vulnerable had become her usual act of charity.

The actress called for justice and urged authorities to investigate the incident, stressing that her only intention was to care for the homeless and spread goodwill in the community.

She wrote: “My heart aches. Today, as I was cooking free food for the vulnerable and homeless people on the streets of Lagos, like I always do, some uniformed men came there, harassed me, bullied me and took away the food I was cooking, took away my cooking gas and everything I was making free food with. My only offence was serving love on a plate through my healthy meals. I am not a chef, and I do not cook for a living. My heart aches”.

Nollywood actor Kunle Remi has come under attack after bringing his wife Tiwi’s underwear to the premiere of Daniel Etim-Effiong’s latest movie, The Herd, at IMAX Lekki.

The premiere attracted many of Nigeria’s top actors, but Kunle’s unusual act quickly drew attention.

The actor explained that since his wife could not attend the event, he decided to carry a personal item of hers as a symbolic gesture.

He wrote: “Your wife could not be present physically, so she gave you a piece of herself. Randomly remembering how I started my morning.”

Videos shared online showed him displaying the item on the red carpet and including it in clips of his day, from breakfast to other moments

Many social media users reacted negatively to the gesture, calling it inappropriate and unsettling.

Chinwe Okoro: “I honestly don’t understand why Kunle thought this was funny or cute. Bringing his wife’s underwear to a red carpet event is really uncomfortable to watch. There are some boundaries that just shouldn’t be crossed in public, no matter how playful you think you’re being.”

Tunde Adeyemi: “Wow… I can’t believe this actually happened. I follow Kunle on Instagram, and I’ve seen him share moments with his wife, but this is taking it way too far. It makes you question what he thinks is acceptable in front of other people.”

Aisha Bello: “This is disturbing on so many levels. A red carpet is supposed to be about fashion, movies, and glamour, not carrying someone’s intimate items around for attention. I feel bad for Tiwi if this is how people are seeing her.”

Emeka Nnaji: “I used to admire Kunle for being open with his fans, but this really crosses a line. Publicly displaying something that personal makes the whole gesture feel wrong. Some things are meant to be private, and this was definitely one of them.”

Funke Olatunji: “I don’t know if he thought this would be funny or romantic, but honestly, it’s just embarrassing. Seeing someone’s underwear on the red carpet is not a memory I want to have from a movie premiere.”

Bella Shmurda is among the stars who added contemporary flair to Street music and made it appealing to a new generation of listeners. His sound finds identity in Konto sound and indigenous Yoruba music influences, which he fuses with Afrobeats era-defining pop sounds.

Combining the elements, Bella Shmurda consistently tells a story of struggle, hustle, ambition, and a desire for a good life that shapes life in the innercity.

With over half a decade of hit releases spread across 4 EPs and 1 LP, he has enjoyed success and endured the complexities of life at the top that have further shaped his artistry and personal life.

These experiences define Bella Shmurda’s sixth album, ‘Sanity,’ where he embraces the full spectrum of sounds that have shaped his career and the lessons he has picked up along the way to create his most expansive project yet.

On ‘Sanity,’ the singer, now a father and successful label boss, cheerfully celebrates his wins and higher status in the game, contemplates the struggles, mourns bitter losses, and shares a hope for a bright future through a combination of sounds that find a common identity in his dynamism.

“I hype myself cos I have tried,” he sings over the folks drums of the Wizard Chan’s assisted opener ‘Appraisal’, where he evaluates his journey and success, and expresses gratitude in celebration.

When Bella Shmurda sings on the mid-tempo, tingling drums of ‘Verily,’ it’s with a confidence of my man making music that speaks to his state of mind. His desire for wealth on the Magicsticks-produced ‘Turn Me On’ is conveyed with the air of luxury of a man basking in the good life.

Bella Shmurda is having a great time, and he invites listeners into his world with party starters and feel-good jams that give that sregnthen the album a warm build-up. He links up with King Promise on the Fuji music-style drums of ‘Magdalene’ to promise beautiful women a good time with graphic details that leave little to the imagination.

Taylor Swift’s The Life of a Showgirl dominates the Billboard Hot 100, with every track landing in the top 12 for a historic clean sweep.

This album is so mid,’ critics said. ‘She’s done better,’ fans agreed when The Life of A Showgirl dropped earlier this month. Fast-forward a week, and Taylor Swift just swept the entire Billboard Top 10…again.

For the third time in her career, Swift has claimed every top spot on the Billboard Hot 100, proving once again that when she drops, the entire music industry listens.

Inside Taylor’s Latest Chart Takeover
The Billboard Hot 100 ranks the most popular songs in the U.S. based on a mix of streaming, radio airplay, and digital sales. Each component contributes to a weekly point system that determines chart positions. Simple version? The more people stream, buy, and play your song, the higher you go.

Taylor climbed and cleared the board. Her new album, The Life of a Showgirl, made Billboard history this week, with all 12 songs from the album securing the top 12 spots on the Hot 100. It’s a full sweep that’s never been done before. Leading the charge is ‘The Fate of Ophelia’, which debuts at No.

If this feels familiar, that’s because she’s done it be
fore. Swift became the first artist to occupy the entire Top 10 with Midnights in 2022, then outdid herself with The Tortured Poets Department in 2024 when she held down the Top 14. Now, with Showgirl, she’s back to doing the same, only it’s all the songs, and not some, charting.

The album dropped on October 3 and immediately launched to No. 1 on the Billboard 200, which made it her 15th chart-topping album, and officially surpassed JAY-Z for the most No. 1 albums by a solo artist.

The Fate of Ophelia alone racked up 92.5 million official U.S. streams in one week and is also the highest single-week streaming number since Billboard started tracking streaming-only performance in 2020.

That brings Swift’s career total to 13 Billboard No. 1 singles and 69 Top 10 entries, the most of any female artist in Hot 100 history.

An Abuja high court has set November 26 to hear the assault and battery case involving rapper, Tochukwu Gbubemi Ojogwu, popularly known as Odumodublvck.

The case was brought by Levi Ogbogiri, also known as Kraziecent, who accused the singer of attacking him during a public event on December 16, 2024.

Kraziecent said the incident occurred while he was taking pictures and videos at the event without provoking the rapper.

He claimed the attack caused him physical and emotional distress, as well as damage to his iPhone 15 Pro Max.

During proceedings, Kraziecent’s lawyer told the court that Odumodublvck had been served with all necessary documents but had not responded.

In reply, the rapper’s lawyer requested an adjournment to prepare for the case.

Kraziecent is seeking compensation for the damaged phone, public humiliation, and harm to his reputation.

He also wants Odumodublvck to issue a public apology on social media and in two national newspapers, and to be legally barred from further harassment.

This development comes few days after the rapper claimed that many of his colleagues in the entertainment industry are envious of him.

Odumodublvck, while speaking in a recent episode of Toronto Ada’s Room podcast, insisted that the narrative that he is not lyrically gifted stemmed from jealousy.

Yoruba Nollywood actor, Kunle Afod, has announced the death of veteran actress, Iya Ile Okan.

The thespian’s demise comes barely two months after Afod visited her residence in Ogun state, where she opened up about her health condition.

Iya Ile Okan recounted how she fell and how she had been spending so much on medical expenses.

Afod, who shared the video via his Instagram page at the time, wrote, “Iya Ile Okan really needs God’s intervention.”

However, in a social media post on Tuesday, October 14, Afod expressed sadness over the demise of the actress as he wrote, “We finally lost her. May her perfect soul continue to rest in peace. Iya Ile Okan. It’s a final wrap.

Kunle Afod, known for creating videos featuring visits to veteran stars in the Yoruba movie industry, had also reached out to Iya Ile Okan several times in the past, including extending kindness to the late actress.

Meanwhile, Afod recently shared why he began making his charity work for elderly Nollywood stars public after keeping it private for many years.

The 51-year-old filmmaker revealed that he had long been helping aging colleagues quietly, providing support to those who were struggling outside the movie scene.

He explained that reaching out to veterans had been part of his personal efforts for a long time before he chose to make it visible to the public.

Afod said the change happened after he turned 50, when he noticed many social media comments accusing actors of only spending money on celebrations while ignoring the pioneers who laid the foundation of the industry.

According to him, this pushed him to start sharing his outreach publicly so that people would see the care given to the veterans.
