There are certain adversities in life that cannot be fully understood through books or counseling alone. They are lessons that must be experienced personally for their meaning to become real and lasting. Such experiences shape our character and guide us away from decisions that could lead to devastating consequences in the future.

For this reason, when God sees that a person is aligning with His will, He may allow that individual to pass through remarkable adversity. These moments are not meant to destroy us but to humble us, refine us, and prepare us to fit into a greater purpose.

Often, the things we pray for require a level of maturity, strength, and discipline that we do not yet possess. Without proper preparation, we may receive blessings that we lack the capacity to maintain or sustain over time.

Therefore, the training process sometimes comes through difficult experiences. Through these trials, character is built, wisdom is gained, and the individual becomes capable of carrying the responsibilities connected to the blessings they seek.

Kindness is not merely morality; it is a spiritual investment. A person’s future may be bright, yet their present life may feel dry because they have no reservoir of goodwill to draw from. When you consistently show kindness and goodwill to others, you build a store of favour that can speak for you in seasons of need.

Therefore, learn to invest in people. Acts of kindness, compassion, and genuine care are seeds sown into the lives of others, and in time, those seeds return as support, favour, and blessings.

Some storms come to test your strength and prepare your destiny. With deep patience and spiritual discernment, you will outlive the storm and move forward into your appointed greatness.

No matter how strong you are mentally and spiritually, you will still need people with connections or those who can connect you to opportunities. That is why, as you pray, you must also work on your character so you do not push away God-sent helpers through pride or the mindset of “I don’t need anyone.” Otherwise, you may remain broke or stagnated despite your level of spirituality.
