No matter how strong you are mentally and spiritually, you will still need people with connections or those who can connect you to opportunities. That is why, as you pray, you must also work on your character so you do not push away God-sent helpers through pride or the mindset of “I don’t need anyone.” Otherwise, you may remain broke or stagnated despite your level of spirituality.

My fear is that you may help those whom God opposes and, in the process, bring destruction upon your own life and destiny. In the Bible, God rebuked King Jehoshaphat because he chose to help the wicked. When Jehoshaphat allied himself with King Ahaziah, God destroyed the ships they built together because of that ungodly association (2 Chronicles 20:35–37). This teaches that helping the wrong people can attract divine consequences, even when the intention seems good.

The reason you may feel stuck by certain limitations is that, without them, you would have already moved on from your present state. Sometimes the very place that feels most uncomfortable is the place where God intends to meet you. For that reason, He may allow certain limitations to remain, quietly compelling you to wait until His purpose is fulfilled.

Do not mistake delayed judgement for divine approval. Some consequences are postponed, not cancelled. Wisdom is to repent early, before today’s choices become tomorrow’s burdens.
