I overheard some Nigerian oil marketers are looking the way of purchasing directly from Libya, albeit the country's bifurcated government of one ruling in Tripoli and another in Benghazi.

First is that the quality of petroleum gotten from any of those two different administrative units of Libya will be worth the efforts by any buyer. Only OML 2 come close to their quality in Nigeria.

Two, is that, since our owns have chosen to turn themselves into saboteurs by not adequately supplying the locales, going all the way to Libya is worth it.

You can not hold a nation to ransom with bureaucratic bottlenecks resulting into continued corrupt practices enriching the few wealthy and expect an alternative not to be devised.

We had to leave Port Harcourt for Aba, yesterday Friday 4th of October in quest of safe haven occasioned by today's election. As we were told it's usually like "Rivers of Blood."

As the struggle for a/the State superior in Rivers swells between Fubara and Wike, it also becomes incumbent to tinker on the state of economic condition in that oil-rich city since our contingent arrived on a project. For instance, only few filling stations sold petrol at Obia-Akpor as we boarded for Enyimba city. We fueled at 1,190 per/litre. An earlier buyer before the station opened said it was 1,500 naira at the Black Market (referring to street retailers).

Added with this is that a/1 kg of gas got filled for 1350 in a region sitting on several unexplored crude oil.

If joining hands in revitalizing the economy other than jostling to hang around the corridor of power doesn't bothers politicians, I doubt what else would.
