Screaming so loud in the other Room with your Spouse Can be against the Law
Many people think that what happens in their bedroom is nobody’s business. That’s true until the whole compound begins to hear it.
In law, when your pleasure becomes your neighbour’s disturbance, it crosses into what is called a Nuisance.
Under the law, nuisance is any unreasonable interference with another person’s comfort or enjoyment of their property.
So, if every night your neighbours cannot sleep because of the “soundtrack” from your other room, you are no longer exercising your marital rights you are disturbing public peace and yes, your neighbour can sue you in court for nuisance.
The principle is simple your right to enjoy your spouse ends where your neighbour’s right to enjoy his sleep begins.
The law protects your privacy, but not at the expense of others’ peace.
So, by all means, enjoy your marriage, but remember let your neighbours not become unwilling audience members in your “private cinema.” 😉
