"We live in a very wíckēd world.
This baby was aɓdūcted and her ēyes nearly plūckēd out by some fast m0ney hustlers. It took the efforts of the school headmistress and eagle eyes of a pupil who was fast to identify that something was wrong and alerted the school management about the aɓdūction which happened close to the school.

Here is the funny and scary part: the school teachers out of fear refused to enter the bush to hunt for the aɓdūctors. It was the motherly strength of the headmistress that propelled her to go inside the bush and confront the boys.

Out of fear, the boys ran off leaving the bãby with serious injūɍies on her face.
Thank God she's responding to treatment very well now.
This happened in Delta state yesterday 💔😲

The anti-cûlt operatives of the Akwa Ibom State Police Command have averted a bløødy rival cûlt w@r, apprehènding two g@ng leaders of the Ku Klux Klans (K*K) confr@ternity and one female accømplice susp3cted to be their girlfriend and inførmànt.

Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) in the state, DSP Timfon John who addressed Journalists in Uyo at the weekend, said the susp3cts were apprēhended following superior intelligence that they were in the process of engaging in a bløødy clash with a rival group.

DSP John explained that the arrèsted suspēcts were accûsed of involvement in series of røbbêry, kîdn@pping and other viølènt crìmês.

She added that they were arrêsted in their hideøut in a hotel while pløtting the mayhem along the Calabar-Itu Road axis at Urua Ekpa, Itu local govmnt area of the state.

Professor Sonni Tyoden, former Plateau deputy governor, kpai's at 74

renowned academic and former Vice Chancellor of the University of Jos, Professor Tyoden served as Deputy Governor under former Governor Simon Lalong from 2015 to 2023 during the administration of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Born on September 22, 1950, in Push*t District, Mangu Local Government Area of Plateau State, he was a Professor of Political Science known for his contributions to academia and public service.

Reacting to his dē@th, former Governor Simon Lalong expressed deep sorrow, describing the late professor as a close confidant. In a statement issued in Jos on Sunday and signed by his Special Adviser on Media, Makut Macham, Lalong said he led some former cabinet members on a condolence visit to the deceased’s residence in Rayfield, Jos.

He described Tyoden as “a trusted political ally, confidant, teacher, and mentor,” who served the state with dedication during the APC Rescue Administration.

“Professor Tyoden brought significant stability, wisdom, and experience to the government and worked tirelessly to ensure its success during the eight-year tenure,” Lalong stated. “He left indelible footprints in the sands of time, having served the nation in various capacities, including as Vice Chancellor of the University of Jos, where he transformed the institution.”

Lalong also highlighted Tyoden’s accomplishments in academia, noting that he was not only a distinguished scholar in teaching and research but also a mentor to many students who have gone on to excel in their careers.

He prayed for the peaceful repose of Professor Tyoden’s soul and offered condolences to his wife, Mrs. Abigail Tyoden, their children, and the entire family.

Suspended senator representing Kogi Central, Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan has reacted to accûsàtions made by US-based activist Dr. Sandra Duru, who claimed there was a plot to frame Senate President Godswill Akpabio.

Sandra Duru, who is known online as Prof. Mgbeke, had gone live on Facebook for over an hour, accūsing Akpoti-Uduaghan of offering her N200 million to create damaging allëgãtions against Akpabio.

She claimed the senator approached her after a s3xuãl har@ssment pétition against Akpabio failed, proposing a new strategy to involve UK agencies and the United Nations. Duru said Akpoti-Uduaghan pushed her to accûse the Senate President of murder and organ harv3sting, promising that if the plan worked, she would be rewarded with a ministerial post or the Kogi governorship.

Duru further stated that she refused the offer, asking Akpoti-Uduaghan for proof or an autøpsy report, but none was provided.

She claimed to have handed over chat records, phone logs, and audio files to US authorities and Nigerian police for invèstigation.

Atiku slams Tinubu as president’s son battles tørtūred allèg@tions

Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has criticised President Bola Tinubu over the allèg@tions of ass@ult and abdûctiøn against his son, Seyi.

Seyi has come under fire over allegations of ass@ult and abdūction, allēg@tions his camp has firmly denied and described as politically motivated.

At the heart of the controversy is Atiku Isah, a factional President of the National Association of Nigerian Students, who alleged during a press conference in Abuja that he was brutalised and abducted on April 15 after rejecting a N100m bribe allegedly offered by Seyi and the Minister of Youth Development, Ayodele Olawande, to support the Tinubu’s administration.

Isah alleged that after turning down the offer, he was stripped, att@cked, and held against his will by unidentified thugs.

The NANS leader said the incident occurred shortly after a meeting in Lagos, where he claimed the bribe attempt was made.

But in a response via his Instagram stories, Seyi denied ever meeting Isah or being involved in any such incidènt.

He labelled the alleg@tions as a fabrication designed to tàrnish his reputation.

The Govērnør of Abia State, Alex Otti, has accused former Govērnør Okezie Ikpeazu of withdrawing ₦10b to build airport from the state’s account.
News reports that Governor Otti said his administration found out about the money through an audit.
