I got a call from Jaceo Palm Estate asking, ā€œCan we get a prototype of our Palm Estate from you?ā€

I said, ā€œLet me see what I can do.ā€

But honestly, something interesting happened while I was working on it.

The more I researched, studied the plans, and visualized the project, the more I started thinking beyond just creating the prototype.

As an Agric student, I understand that agriculture isnā€™t just about food. It can also be a serious long-term investment opportunity, and palm trees are one of the agricultural resources with strong economic value.

Then I started looking closely at how Jaceo Palm Estate is structured.
The estate is divided into units, and each unit is about 520 square metres. Each unit comes with 15 Malaysian-breed palm trees.

And what caught my attention is that you're actually getting your own unit of land, while the plantation is managed as part of the estate's operation.

So I started imagining what the experience would actually look like.

Someone driving through the estateā€¦ seeing the different palm unitsā€¦ workers maintaining the plantationā€¦ security infrastructure like CCTV being installedā€¦ and rows and rows of palm trees.

But it doesn't stop there.

There's also a tourism side to the vision.

A place where people can come, relax, experience the palm plantation, enjoy palm wine and simply spend time in a beautiful environment.

And honestly, that changed the way I looked at the project.
Because now I'm not just looking at land.
I'm looking at land ownership, palm production, estate management and tourism coming together in one project.

That's when I started considering getting a unit at Jaceo Palm Estate myself.

So while you're busy looking at stocks, shares, and other investment opportunities, I'm presenting you with something I personally found worth considering:

Don't just invest in companies. Consider investing in something you can actually own. šŸŒ“

A piece of land.
A palm estate.
An agricultural asset with long-term potential.

And the interesting part?

I didn't start this project with the intention of buying a unit myself.
Working on the project made me see the opportunity differently.
So yesā€¦ maybe creating this prototype is about to make me a landowner too. šŸ˜‚šŸŒ“

You know the difference between you and some of these people you admire?

Some of you hate to research.

You want somebody to do the research for you, bring the information to you, explain everything to you and tell you what is right.

And the funny thing is, you want it FREE.

When they call a price for youā€¦ you scream, ā€œThe price is too high!ā€ šŸ˜­

Do you know how many nights they spent reading, watching and listening? Learning, unlearning and relearning to become that good?

The answer is no.

You are too broke to pay for information and too lazy to work for it.

But the day you start researching things for yourself, that is the day your mind will start changing.

You have a phone in your hand.

What are you using that phone to do?

You can use that same phone to learn how to research something you want to be good at.

Research it.
Learn it.
Practise what you found.
Make mistakes.
Go back and try again.

Thatā€™s how people become good at things.

Nobody is just a genius because they were born that way.

Even the people you admire took time.

They researched.
They learnt.
They failed.
They tried again.

You are seeing the beautiful result today, but you didnā€™t see all the time they spent trying to get there.

So sometimes, before you say, ā€œPlease, teach me how to do this,ā€

Try to find out something for yourself first.

You might actually discover that you are capable of much more than you think.

I used to think being busy meant I was making progress.

There was a time when I wanted to do everything at once.

Create content.
Learn new things.
Build my brand.
Work on different ideas.

And because I was always doing something, I felt like I was moving forward.

But I eventually realised that movement and progress are not the same thing.

You can be busy all day and still not be moving in the direction you want.

These days, Iā€™m learning to focus more.

To finish what I start.

To give my energy to the things that actually matter to me.

Because sometimes, growth isnā€™t about doing more.

Itā€™s about doing less, but doing it better.

About 3 years ago, when I was trying to build my brand, there was something I didn't understand.

I was following so many people I admired. I wanted to be like them. I wanted to create like them. I was constantly looking at what they were doing and how far they had gone.

And honestly, I didn't realise how much it was affecting me.

The more I looked at their achievements, the less I felt like I was doing enough.

The more I saw their creativity, the more I started questioning mine.

And without even realising it, I was becoming more focused on how they were doing things than on discovering how I wanted to do things.

Now, I'm not saying you shouldn't have mentors or people you look up to. You absolutely should.

But if you know yourself well enough to realise that constantly consuming someone's work is making you compare, copy or doubt your own creativity, take a step back.

For me, one of the best things I did was create a page outside my personal profile and start building something that was completely mine.

I stopped looking around.

I stopped trying to figure out what everyone else was doing.

I just created from my own imagination, my own ideas and my own creativity.

And that was when I started finding my feet.

Sometimes, you need to stop looking at everyone else long enough to discover what your own voice sounds like.

So yes, follow your mentors.

Learn from them.

But don't lose yourself trying to become them.

Maybe you donā€™t need to be perfect before you start sharing what you know.

Sometimes, we keep waiting.

Waiting until we know more.
Waiting until we're better.
Waiting until we feel ā€œready enough.ā€

But the longer you wait to become perfect, the longer you keep your knowledge away from the people who actually need it.

You don't have to know everything to teach something.

If you know something today that someone else doesn't know, share it.

Start with what you have.
Start from where you are.

And as you keep showing up, you'll learn, improve and grow along the way.

You don't become ready and then start. Sometimes, you startā€¦ and that's how you become ready. ā¤ļø
