You know what, I and hubby were on a retreat, planning and structuring for the year, and he said, Love? And I answered yes baby, he continued, the Holy Spirit told me about our family theme of the year. Wow I was so happy, for my mind I was thinking it will be...
2025 my year of supernatural blessings, or 2025 my year of anointing, or 2025 my year of uplifting etc. But he said. The Holy Spirit said which we will do it is.... This year 2025 will be a year of LOVE and RECONCILING MEN BACK TO CHRIST. He said we will go all out for sinners in every angle for him both online and offline. He said our spiritual father, pastor James Edikan said in one of his messages title EFFECTIVE SOUL WINNING. Is that one of the weapon to use for soul winning is through love. And I was like wow, this my beloved husband is wisdom. God really need you and I on this mission. We have to reconcile men back to christ.we prayed and ask God to strengthen us for his work.
Truly this year is my year of LOVE and RECONCILING MEN BACK TO CHRIST.

Day 5:

WHY GOD LOVES RIGHTEOUSNESS

"And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins." Matthew 1:21.

The essence of Jesus Christ dying on the cross was to save us from our sinful lifestyle, not just from the wages of sin. Often, many preachers focus more on explaining how Jesus has taken away the wages of sin, while less emphasis is placed on how Jesus also saved us from living in sin (sinful lifestyles and addictions).

Christ did not just deal with the wages of sin; He also dealt with our sin itself. His death and resurrection redeem us from the penalty of sin, and His blood and His word make us free from the power of sinful living.

So, after celebrating that you have been freed from the penalty of sin _ death because of what Jesus did, also remember that you are free from sinful living because of what Jesus did.
Sadly, though we are fully aware of the freedom from sin’s penalty, we often neglect the freedom from our sinful lifestyle and thus become bound again after Jesus has set us free. We use our hands to pick up sinful living or sinful lifestyles and tie down our liberty in Christ.

For instance, Jesus saved us from the sin of immorality. Glory to God! Because He died for us, the penalty of committing the sin of immorality, which is death, has been taken away. Also, because of His blood that was shed on the cross and His word, which is the word of life, the power of the sin of immorality should be destroyed in us. As proof that Jesus saves from both the penalty of sin and from our sinful lifestyle, the believer shouldn’t commit fornication, lust, ma******te, or indulge in any immoral practices anymore.

You are not truly saved until you are saved from sin. “Who the Son sets free is free indeed.” (John 8:36) To be free indeed means to be free from both the penalty of sin and sin itself. You cannot be free from the penalty of a sin if you are not free from the sin. That means you cannot be free from the penalty of fornication if you are still living in the sin of fornication.

Jesus offers total freedom; when He saves, He saves completely. If you are a fornicator but claim to be in Christ, or if you are an adulterer but claim to be in Christ, you are deceived because there is no sinner in Christ Jesus. Every sinner that comes to Jesus is saved and transformed into a saint. He refines and purges them to be sinless, just as Jesus is sinless.

So, you cannot be in Christ and live in sin. There is no sin in Christ; in Christ, there is total freedom from sin.

Action Point: Make up your mind today to disengage from every sinful act.

Prayer Point: Father, I thank You for Your word today. I receive grace to live a righteous life.

God is Not a God of Vengeance, He is a God of Mercy.

And when his disciples James and John saw this, they said, Lord, wilt thou that we command fire to come down from heaven, and consume them, even as Elias did? But he turned, and rebuked them, and said, Ye know not what manner of spirit ye are of. For the Son of man is not come to destroy men’s lives, but to save them. - Luke 9:54-56

From our anchor scripture, it is clear that Jesus did not support vengeance on enemies. Although His disciples compared the situation to Elijah and the prophets of Baal, Jesus made a striking statement: “Ye know not what manner of spirit ye are of.” The spirit of Elijah is not the same as the spirit of Christ. The spirit of Jesus Christ is one of salvation, mercy, and love.

Elijah’s actions of calling down fire on sinners do not set a precedent for Jesus. The spirit determines the mission. Jesus’ mission on earth was to save sinners, not to bring vengeance upon them. While Elijah called down fire, Jesus offers life and mercy to sinners.

Frankly speaking, God is not a God of vengeance; He is a God of mercy, love, and grace. God cannot simultaneously kill and destroy while also loving and setting free. His manifestation as Jesus was to save sinners, redeem the lost, and show mercy to a wicked generation like ours (Matthew 1:21, John 10:10). The very name “Jesus” means “Jehovah is Savior,” indicating that God lacks the ability to kill, destroy, or seek revenge. While a time will come when God will enact vengeance, for now, He only saves. After the rapture, on Judgment Day, God will become a God of vengeance.

God is love, and there is no anger in love. Without anger, there can be no revenge. Therefore, God cannot seek revenge on any sinner because Jesus took away God’s anger against sinners through His death on the cross. Currently, the devil is the god of vengeance. When you pray and request vengeance from God, you are invoking a demon, and such prayers are answered only by the devil.

Do not rejoice when your enemy dies or suffers misfortune. It was not God who answered your prayer for vengeance; it was the devil. Every time God looks at a wicked person, He sees them with love and compassion, desiring to save their soul.

God is a God of love! Beware, child of God, the god of vengeance is a demon. Stop praying and calling on the god of vengeance.

Action Point: Determine in your heart to love sinners as Christ loves them. Desist from every witchcraft prayer seeking vengeance and death for your enemy.

Prayer Point: Father, I receive grace to love sinners just as You love them.

DAY 1

GOD WILL NOT SEND SINNERS TO HELLFIRE

“Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?” Romans 6:16

God created the Garden of Eden and entrusted Archangel Lucifer and the angels under his charge to care for it. After some time, God made man and placed him in Eden, instructing him to reign over the garden and have dominion over all the Earth. However, Lucifer became rebellious and planned a coup against God, desiring to be like the Most High. He said, “I will ascend to the mountain of God; I will be like the Most High” (Isaiah 14:12-15).

Lucifer waged war in heaven, and Archangel Michael and his angels fought against Satan and his angels. Michael defeated Satan, the old serpent, and the dragon, casting him down to Earth. Unfortunately, upon returning to Earth, Lucifer, now Satan, had lost access to the Garden of Eden and his dominion there.

Satan then built his city and named it Hell, where he and his demons could reside. On the last day, the Master Jesus shall bring out fire from the midst of Satan’s dwelling place—Hell—and it shall consume Satan and his demons (Ezekiel 28:18). God will add fire to Hell, transforming it into Hellfire, a place of torment and eternal suffering.
Sadly, the demons will not go to Hellfire alone; they will take with them all the souls that lived in sin on Earth, those who were obedient to the works of darkness, and those who obeyed Satan as their master.

God will not send any man to Hellfire. Instead, the demon of fornication will go to Hellfire with all fornicators, the demon of lying with all liars, the demon of ma********on with all masturbators, and so on. Whatever sin a person was entangled with, the demon responsible for that sin will take that person to Hellfire alongside itself. On the Judgment Day, it will be a case of servants following their master wherever their master goes. If sin is your master and the devil is your lord, that sin will take you to Hellfire, and the demon that empowered you to commit that sin will walk with you to Hellfire.

God will not send sinners to Hellfire; it is sin that will send sinners to Hellfire.
Whoever was your master on Earth will remain your master after death and for eternity. Whoever you obeyed on Earth is the one you will spend your eternity with.

Action Point: Turn away from a sinful lifestyle and embrace righteousness today.

Prayer Point: Lord, I receive grace to keep obeying the Holy Spirit and to remain as Jesus’ servant because I want to spend my eternity with Jesus.

DAY 30: TRUST THE PROCESS

John 12:25
He who loves his life will lose it, and he who hates his life in this world will keep it for eternal life.

There was once a war between Israel and Babylon. Nebuchadnezzar, the king of Babylon, defeated Israel, destroyed God's temple in Jerusalem, killed thousands of people, and relocated some to Babylon as war slaves. Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, highly educated Jews, were among those taken to Babylon.

Fortunately, they were selected by the king to be trained in his palace as administrators in Babylon. However, to stay in the king's palace, they had to be castrated, becoming eunuchs. Imagine what these Hebrew boys endured: losing the war, their freedom, and being castrated in a foreign land. Yet, they never lost faith in God, even when it seemed Jehovah had failed them.

They rejected the king's meal, refusing to eat food sacrificed to idols, choosing to starve instead. When the king built a massive golden image and commanded everyone to bow at the sound of the trumpet, everyone obeyed, except these three Hebrew boys. Fear of fire didn't change their minds. And when thrown into the fire, God showed up, becoming the fourth man in the fire.

As a believer, never doubt God, no matter what you're going through. Always trust the process, for it will end in praise.

Action Point: Never doubt God, no matter your circumstances.

Prayer Point: Father, thank you for your word today. I receive grace to follow you through the valley.

DAY 26: THE EVIDENCE OF THE BAPTISM OF THE HOLY GHOST

"And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance." Acts 2:4.

Growing up as a child, I was taught that speaking in tongues was the evidence of the baptism of the Holy Ghost. I can still remember when our local church used to have an annual program tagged "Pentecost week" where we would have a guest speaker come and preach on subjects related to the baptism of the Holy Ghost. They would always call out those who couldn’t speak in tongues to come out for the baptism of the Holy Ghost.

Sometimes it was always so frustrating or even embarrassing as many people would go out for prayers and then go back to their seats devastated because they believed they did not receive the baptism of the Holy Ghost simply because they couldn’t speak in tongues.

But here is the truth. The Bible never said that speaking in tongues is the evidence of the Holy Ghost. But said that it is just one of the many gifts of the Holy Ghost (1 Corinthians 12:10).

Five times people were baptized in the Holy Ghost in the Bible. Thrice they spoke in new tongues, once they prophesied, and once they spoke the word of God with boldness.

What happened in Acts chapter 2 when the Holy Ghost came upon the 120 in the upper room was not the expression of the gift of an unknown tongue but rather it was the Holy Ghost giving them the supernatural ability to preach the Word of God in the very language of the people that surrounded the upper room.

That is why the Bible said in Acts 2:6 that every man heard them speak in his own language. Meaning they weren’t speaking or preaching in an unknown tongue but in a known tongue.

If the evidence that one is filled with a lying spirit is that the person will be able to lie effortlessly. The evidence that one is possessed with the spirit of fornication is that the person will be able to fornicate uncontrollably.

Then the evidence that one is possessed with the Holy Ghost is that one is able to live a holy life consistently.

The ability to speak in an unknown tongue is simply one of the gifts of the Holy Ghost while the ability to live a holy life is the evidence of the baptism of the Holy Ghost.

Action point: Whoever claims to be filled with the Holy Ghost but cannot live a holy life is a liar. The Holy Ghost is more interested in giving us His nature which is holiness than His gifts which one of them is the ability to speak in an unknown tongue.

Prayer point: Jesus, thank you for your word today. I receive supernatural grace to manifest the evidence of your Spirit in me today.
