That's where Awareness Ads come in.
They're designed to introduce your business to the right people and help you stay top of mind.
In this carousel, we'll look at a few signs that it might be time to focus on awareness before expecting enquiries or sales.

Title: The First Question We Ask Before Setting Up Any Ad Campaign

When a business owner reaches out to us about running ads, we don't start by talking about budgets.
And we don't begin by choosing an audience either.

Our first question is much simpler:
"What are you hoping to achieve with this campaign?"

That answer shapes everything that follows because the right campaign starts with a clear business goal.
Once we're clear on the destination, it's much easier to choose the right strategy to get there.
What would you like your next ad campaign to achieve?
Tell us in the comments, and we’ll send you a DM on how to achieve it.

The Most Expensive Ad Isn't Always the One That Costs the Most.

When people think about the cost of advertising, what they usually focus on is the budget, but that's not always the highest cost.
Sometimes, the most expensive ad is the one that reaches the wrong audience.
The one with the wrong campaign objective.
The one that generates plenty of clicks but doesn't move your business any closer to its goal.
A campaign doesn't have to cost a fortune to become expensive.
If it isn't helping your business achieve the result you need, every naira spent will feel like money wasted.

That's why we believe successful advertising is about spending wisely, with the right strategy, the right audience, and the right campaign objective.

In your opinion, what's more important: a bigger ad budget or a smarter advertising strategy? Tell us why in the comments

Do You Need Thousands of Followers Before Running An Ads?

Let's scatter a table today. 😊
Somewhere along the line, many business owners started believing that they can only run ads when they have thousands of followers.
This sounds reasonable, except it isn't necessarily true.

The truth is people don't buy because you have a large following.
They buy because what you're offering is relevant to them.

A page with 500 engaged followers can sometimes get better results than a page with 20,000 followers who rarely interact.
Advertising isn't about proving your business is popular, but about ensuring your message reach the right people at the right time.
So if you've been waiting to hit a certain follower count before considering Meta ads, you might be waiting for the wrong reason.
Don't let a myth stop you from exploring opportunities that could help your business grow.
Before today, did you believe you needed a large following before running ads?
A. Yes
B. No

How To Reach the Right People Without Wasting Your Ad Budget.

More people seeing your ad doesn't automatically mean better results.
You could reach thousands of people and still spend money talking to people who have no interest in what you're selling.
What's then the real goal?

It's getting your ad in front of people who are actually likely to care.

That starts before you even hit “Publish”
You need to know who you're trying to reach, choose a campaign goal that matches what you want to achieve, use what you already know about your customers, and pay attention to what your results are telling you.
We've broken down some practical steps in this carousel.
Swipe through and see which ones you're already doing, and which ones you may need to rethink.
📌 Save this for your next campaign. You'll be thankful you did.

Slide 1:
How to Reach the Right People Without Wasting Your Ad Budget
Getting your ad in front of more people isn't always the goal.

Slide 2:
• Know Who You're Trying to Reach:
Before touching the Ads Manager, get specific.
Who is most likely to need what you're selling?
Think about things like location, age, interests, needs, and behaviour.
You can't reach the right people if you haven't defined who they are.

Slide 3:
• Don't Try to Sell to Everyone:
Your product may be useful to many people.
But that doesn't mean everyone is your customer.
The broader you go without a clear reason, the easier it becomes to spend money reaching people who simply aren't interested.

Slide 4:
• Choose the Right Campaign Goal
What do you actually want the ad to achieve?
🔸 More awareness?
🔸 More traffic?
🔸 More leads?
🔸More sales?
Your campaign objective should match the result you're trying to get.

Slide 5:
• Use What You Already Know About Your Customers:
Do you already have customers?
Don't ignore that information!
Your existing customer data can help you understand and reach people who are more likely to be interested in your business.

Slide 6:
• Let Your Results Teach You:
Don't assume you've found the perfect audience on your first try.
Watch what happens.
🔸Which audience responds?
🔸Which one clicks?
🔸 Which one actually takes the action you want?
Use the results to make better decisions.

Slide 7:
• Bigger Isn't Always Better:
10,000 random people seeing your ad isn't automatically better than 1,000 relevant people seeing it.
Relevance matters.
The goal here isn't simply to reach more people.
It's to reach more of the right people.

Slide 8:
• Save This
Before your next campaign, remember:
🔸 Know your people.
🔸 Choose your goal.
🔸 Target thoughtfully.
🔸 Watch your results.
🔸 Improve as you learn.

Slide 9
📌 Save this for your next campaign.

Don't Run That Ad…Yet

Imagine walking into a hospital with a headache.
Before prescribing medication, the doctor asks a few questions.
It's not because they're trying to delay helping you.
It's rather because the right solution depends on understanding the real problem.
We approach advertising the same way.
Sometimes, after speaking with a business owner, our advice isn't: "Let's run ads."
It's: "Not yet."
Not because we don't believe in advertising.
But because we'd rather help you spend your budget at the right time than spend it too soon.
Sometimes, the offer needs to be clearer.
Sometimes, the customer journey needs a little more work.
Sometimes, the business needs to solve one or two things before advertising can truly make an impact.
Anyone can launch an ad.
The real value is knowing when to launch it.
If an agency told you to wait before running ads because they believed it would lead to better results, would you trust their advice? Tell us why.

Should You Run Ads When Sales Drop?

It's hard not to worry when the orders become fewer…and business isn't moving the way it used to.

For many business owners, that's the moment advertising starts to feel like the obvious answer.

But running ads isn't always the first solution.
Sometimes, slow sales have very little to do with visibility.

Maybe customers don't understand what you're selling.

Maybe your offer isn't compelling enough.
Maybe they're interested, but something keeps stopping them from buying.
In that case, running ads might bring in more people, but it won't necessarily solve the problem.

Advertising works best when it's building on something that's already strong.
This is why the question shouldn't always be: "Should I run ads?"

The better question sometimes becomes:
"Why have my sales dropped in the first place?"
The answer to that question will tell you whether advertising is the next step, or whether your business needs something else first.

Let's hear your thoughts: Have you ever paused to look beyond the numbers before deciding what your business needed next?.
