Whatever we are facing today, let us not lose faith in tomorrow. Every struggle has a season, every storm eventually passes, and every genuine effort will produce a result.

Good News Family

So after the protest ended
There were rumours of bribe making waves round but I promised you all to stay calm .

I asked for time because this is not going to be business as usual

Now the results is gradually coming up

Now it's time to silent the naysayers

I personally went to the Unyenge MBO beach earlier today to go and see with my own eyes the arrival of the equipment that the Company has brought in that will be used to reconstruct our broken Bridge

It was great outing

First step to fulfilment of agreement number 1

GOOD NEWS! THE FIRST RESULT IS HERE! 🎉

Following the peaceful and resolute protest by the Unyenge MBO people, one of our key demands is already moving into implementation:

1️⃣ RECONSTRUCTION OF THE UNYENGE BRIDGE

🚜 The equipment has arrived!

The next phase will be the removal of the old, collapsed bridge, after which reconstruction work will commence.

This is not the end—it is a beginning.

The struggle, the peaceful protest, the voices raised, and the demands presented are beginning to yield results! 🙌🏽

After days of standing together and demanding justice, development, employment opportunities, better working conditions, infrastructure, and the reconstruction of the collapsed bridge, the results of the Unyenge People’s Protest are already here.

WHAT HAPPENS TO THE FUTURE OF OUR CHILDREN WHEN THEIR PRIMARY SCHOOL IS LEFT TO DECAY?

OUR CHILDREN DESERVE BETTER!
EDUCATION CANNOT WAIT!
UNYENGE IS CALLING FOR HELP!

St. Joseph RCM Primary School, Unyenge, MBO Local Government Area, urgently needs the attention of the Akwa Ibom State Government.

This is not just a building. This is where the formative years of our children are supposed to begin.

But today, the school is faced with serious infrastructural challenges — inadequate roofing, doors and windows, desks and other essential facilities needed for a safe and conducive learning environment.

Our question is simple: WHAT HAPPENS TO THE FUTURE OF THESE CHILDREN IF THE SCHOOL THAT SHOULD SHAPE THEIR FUTURE IS LEFT BEHIND?

We therefore make this urgent and respectful appeal to His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Akwa Ibom State, and the Honourable Commissioner for Education, Prof. Ubong Essien Umoh, to urgently intervene and ensure the rehabilitation, renovation and proper equipping of St. Joseph RCM Primary School, Unyenge.

Our children are not asking for luxury. They are asking for a decent place to learn, grow and dream.

The future of Unyenge begins with the education of its children.

GOVERNMENT, PLEASE ACT NOW.
