Ronaldo joins your league = instant upgrade.
Messi joins your league = instant downgrade.
IFFHS just dropped the 2024 rankings, and guess what?
Saudi Pro League jumped from 40th (2022) to 21st (2024).
MLS dropped from 32nd (2022) to a miserable 49th (2024).
What’s the difference? Cristiano Ronaldo vs FIFA’s golden boy, Messi.
Ronaldo touched down in Saudi and the entire league leveled up—viewership exploded, investments poured in, top players followed. The man literally carries leagues on his back.
Meanwhile, Messi ran to MLS, stat-padded tap-ins against part-time barbers and Uber drivers, and still dragged the league 17 places backward.
Imagine having Messi, Busquets, Alba, Suarez… and your league still flops?
Unfortunately for him, FIFA can’t rig league rankings. Sorry.
This is solid proof—Ronaldo doesn’t just play in a league; he transforms it.
Every league he touches becomes elite.
Saudi League is now hotter than MLS.
And it all started the day CR7 landed.
But hey, none of this matters, right? After all, “messi won a World Cup alongside 470 other professional footballers.”
That’s the one dusty line Messi FC pulls out whenever reality smacks them.
It’s 2025, and these guys still think one tournament from 2022 erases a career of bottling, ghosting, and stat-padding.
You present facts. Stats. Impact. Rankings.
They cry: “World Cup this, World Cup that.”
Bro, grow up.
Football didn’t end in Qatar.
The world moved on. The game moved on.
But somehow y’all are still stuck there.
And these are the people I’m supposed to debate football with? Please be serious.
