GOVERNOR EMMANUEL LAUDS A'IBOM YOUTHS FOR EMBRACING THE DAKKADA PHILOSOPHY
..As young Akwa Ibomites win big at Dakkada 7th anniversary business and leadership awards

Udom Emmanuel has described as laudable, the acceptance and owning of the Dakkada philosophy by Akwa Ibom at home and in the diaspora. Governor Emmanuel made this assertion yesterday in his remarks at the Dakkada 7th anniversary Business and Leadership award 2022. The Governor, who was represented by
the Honourable Commissioner for labour and man power planning, Mr. Aniefiok Nkom thanked the organizers of the anniversary event, noting that the positive impact the Dakkada philosophy has created has always inspired and encouraged him to do more for the youths of Akwa Ibom State.
Governor Emmanuel further described as heartwarming and encouraging, the level of acceptance of the Dakkada initiative, which he said has resulted in the proliferation of enterprises in and around the state.
Earlier in his remarks, the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Marketing and Brand Management, Mr Ime Uwah thanked Governor Udom Emmanuel for the inspiring Dakkada Philosophy which has transformed the mindset of young Akwa Ibom youths, and inspired them to become great in their different fields of endeavours.
He also expressed gratitude to the Governor for the numerous human capacity development programmes which has been organized for the betterment of Akwa Ibom youths.
Specifically, Uwah noted that through My Entrepreneurship Goals Programme (MEGP), youths of Akwa Ibom State can now access premium business education as well as projects based assistances from Government.
In his message of Goodwill, the Senior Special Assistant to Governor Udom Emmanuel on Youths mobilization, Mr Aniefiok Wilson Iwaudofia described the Dakkada philosophy as Governor Udom Emmanuel's legacy that will last beyond the limits of his term in office. He called on youths in the state to continue to live by the tenets of the Dakkada philosophy for their continued progress and prosperity.
High point of the event was the announcement of winners in the five different categories of the awards.
Blessing Akpan emerged winner in the community Service category, Eno Peter in the Professionalism Category, Kingsley Atang in the Advocacy category, Hanson Johnson in the creativity and innovation category, while Odudu Obong Ndiok took home the top prize for entrepreneurship Category. The prize money of five hundred thousand naira were presented to winners in each category.
The well attended event also had in attendance Senior Special Assistant to Governor Udom Emmanuel on Multilateral and Donor agencies, Mr Ndianabasi Udom, the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on youth mobilization, Mr. Aniefiok Iwa Udofia, Special Assistant to the Governor on Enterprise Development, Mrs l, Meflyn Anwana, Special Assistant to the Governor Project monitoring, Mrs, Josephine Bassey amongst others.
